I don't understand why any of them believe they could see Elena again. They are not immortal, vampires can die or is it a new rule that they can't?

What kind of closure was that? Why do the vampires just assume they will see Elena again? They can die too...every single one of them and I hope they all do before Bonnie. And what kind of mess is it to totally screw over Bonnie and punish her character with this curse? Why not let Elena just die? Nina said she's done, let her be done. I thought Bonnie and Kai were supposed to have a big showdown, I saw nothing resembling a showdown. The love letter to DE, which this entire second half of the season was, was as boring as always. Overall, the only scene I did like was Damon choosing Bonnie over Elena. Julie and Co. always manage to muck things up. Watt, it was a time jump and we are going back to when Damon is a complete asshole.

Caroline has and will always be Julie's self insert, so Bonnie being the lead (and I am not even convinced Caroline is any kind of lead--she's not in the poster) was always a long shot. I'm all whatever about it because really, the only storyline Caroline will have is whether or not to be with Stefan. Oooh...yea...fun. But with that said, I am not surprised that the summary doesn't mention Bonnie because I don't think they want to spoil whatever Bonnie's fate is tonight.

Well...Barry's stupid. The best part was Iris waking Peak A Boo and the end with The Arrow and Firestorm. I am BEYOND frustrated with this Iris/Eddie nonsense. I don't think Reverse Flash is dead by any means.

Maisie's show got picked up by ABC, so I doubt she will be fooling with The Originals until that gets canceled.

It can only be to keep her cover. The only people who knew her cover was blown was Duke and Bruce, both are dead now. However, with that said...THIS undercover storyline has run it's course. It is beyond stupid at this point.

I didn't get that entire scene. Did Kai double cross Enzo and Lily? I thought for sure those witchpires would show up at the wedding.

Unless she does anything close to what Kai did at that wedding, I give up.

That's another thing, they keep saying Bonnie is stronger than ever now...I've seen NO evidence of that so far. Lily gets the drop on her and Kai does whatever he did...I don't get it.

Matt and Bonnie would put me to sleep, much like Jeremy and Bonnie did. I rather she stay single.

Kai more than likely stabbed her or bit her to get her blood to bring back Lily's family OR NOT. I have no idea, but it may give credence to the whole I have absolutely no idea where they are going with this. I think I'm a little pissed that no one cared ONCE AGAIN that Bonnie was missing when their crazy Mama Salvatore is around. That's why I'm glad that wedding was ruined.

The only thing I'm upset about is that Alaric didn't get knifed too. The Delena stuff was just a waste to me.

I'm not really a Klaus fan and I really only tuned in because of the whole nu-Rebekah storyline, I was interested in seeing how she coped with being in this new body among OTHER thing..of course these writers can't stretch out of their box to deal with the new Rebekah. I think

Never...mostly because she's a lying liar who lies and she lies about little things, which boggles my mind. You can almost tell when she's about to lie, her head cocks to the side and she starts speaking out of the side of her mouth. Phaedra irks my world.

Mason was more upsetting than Anna...forget Anna, she helped manipulate her, kidnapped her and threatened her. I liked Anna, but I didn't fault Bonnie for that entire storyline.

I'm getting really sick of not seeing Bonnie in previews. But with that said, this episode happened. I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet. I wondered for about 10 minutes WHY these adults only have friends that are about 18 years younger than them. So Elena took the cure...umm...ok. It was interesting to see all of the flashbacks and stuff between her and Damon, but I really hate how they have basically erased Stelena from the existence of this show. I think that is a major reason why I could never support Delena and I am over the moon that it . Bonnie was a BAMF until she got stabbed in the throat and Jo spent 20 minutes talking about Kai and such. I only hope that I see more of that later on in the next two episodes because with all the interviews, Kat really hyped it up and I was underwhelmed. Also, why did Damon and Bonnie have all of this interaction OFFSCREEN? Lily...well she's a formidable opponent, but she can die in the season finale. Matt? Why won't HE leave town? As long as Matt Davis plays Alaric, I won't care a thing about his character or what happens to anyone attached to his character. oh and caroline's back the next episode...oh yea.

I know and that is the ONLY reason I see his presence being worthwhile.

I don't understand why Eddie and Iris are even a thing in the first place, if it's not a set up for some obsessive conflict later. It's went on for far too long, I can't stand shows that feel the need to make a triangle where there's no need for one.

Option 1 or 2 works for me.

I thought that Iris stuff tonight was fantastic. I loved the way she was so excited to tell Barry her theory and the way her face fell when he seemed to brush it aside. I am glad that they are finally moving the iris-Barry connection along (at a snails pace, I might add). I didn't sign up for this show NOT to see them together. Finally she knows and we can move on to the next chapter of this saga. Wells was great as always and TC played the villain to a tee. Eddie go leave any day now. If he doesn't turn into the RF at some point, I don't even understand why he still exists.

I am willing to consider a Nikolas and Valerie hook up in the future.
