  1. This is me, doing the Bye Bye Bye dance. Thank God he's gone. The judges were totally overscoring Ally tonight. I didn't think either of her dances were worthy of a perfect score, let alone both of them. I don't know if they were trying to keep her out of the bottom 2, knock Spicy out or both but since he's gone, I'll take it. LOL at Erin looking so devastated when they voted Spicy off. She really took those Twitter trolls to heart that were calling her out for looking sad that he was still on and she's been bending over backwards since then to play the role of Spicy's biggest fan. I would like Lauren a whole lot more if she wasn't paired with Gleb. I can't root or vote for her because of that. He just skeeves me out. I wonder if they'll consider bringing back the spring season to make up for the fiasco of this season. I think that's a big part of why people are losing interest in the show. Once a year mediocre seasons aren't really a reason to stay invested. WTF is Cher doing the finale?!? James or Kel for the win!
  2. Remember the old Vote for the Worst website?
  3. I believe Peta is only anti Trump because Maks is. Otherwise, I'm not sure which way she'd lean. Christie Brinkley is definitely a huge Democrat. She and Billy Joel both do a lot of stuff for the party out in the Hamptons, though Billy is more quiet about it.
  4. Posted to their website shortly after tonight's show ended. Excellent article. No, Sean Spicer Really Can’t Dance
  5. At this point it doesn't matter if the judges give him 4s and 5s. It doesn't matter if they give him 2s. The people voting for him are not watching the show. They're just voting to piss everyone off and make some kind of ridiculous point. And there's a lot of them. Unfortunately, for those of us that do watch, it's made the show unwatchable. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'll even tune in again. This is not my favorite season by a long shot. I find the cast pretty bland. But truthfully, it's a crap shoot right now as to who would win. That does make it a bit more interesting and would normally keep me tuned in. But I just don't find this farce entertaining anymore. It pisses me off royally because we were assured that changes were being made so this DID NOT HAPPEN again this season. They brought in this new show runner just for that purpose. And not only is it happening again, it's almost worse than last season because this new show runner was so damn arrogant and cocky about it when Tom spoke out after the cast reveal. I just don't get what he thinks he's accomplishing this season. He's pissing off the few regular viewers they have left and he is NOT picking up new viewers because they ain't watching, they're just voting. Of all the decisions this show has made in the 28 seasons it's been on, hiring this clown may have been the worst. Every week I've felt the show will not recover from this and we may be watching the last season. Tonight I'm pretty convinced of it. And if this is its swan song, it's a damn shame to see it go out on such a low note.
  6. The biggest travesty of this season is that SNL hasn't had Melissa on to do a skit about it.
  7. They made a post yesterday that James and Emma are exempt from the dance-off but not from elimination. I thought that was part of the point of the dance-off -- to keep someone who had earned it safe?
  8. And Louis taught the Chmerkovskiy brothers at one point.
  9. I've said the same about the pros. She wasn't my favorite, but when she danced I couldn't take my eyes off Karina. Maks, when he liked his partner and threw himself into it, was also impossible to keep your eyes off. Tony, Anna, Edyta, even Louis -- just on a different level than these current pros, who really don't do much for me.
  10. Yes she loves the brothers but I promise you she has never tweeted for them. Certainly not since she joined the show as co-host. I know this because my friends and I used to always comment about how none of Maks's former partners ever tweeted their support for him or for anyone to vote for him. The show loves still having him around. It's all anyone is talking about today. I'm not either, especially after all their talk about preventing what happened last season from happening again and bringing in a new producer to see to that. Personally I'm not a political person and I see enough of that crap as it is. I watch DWTS to get away from it -- but here it is, having totally overtaken the show and every conversation about it.
  11. Butt out of what? The guy tweeted at her and made her feed blow up before she responded to him. Erin has never gone on Twitter and encouraged votes for Maks or Val. She didn't do it before she became co-host and she certainly hasn't done it since.
  12. They did hire a new show runner this season. He sucks. I think they're afraid to score him any lower and rile up even more people who think he's being treated "unfairly."
  13. If you're still not sure why Sean is still there, take a look at Erin's Twitter mentions, which are blowing up because of this tweet: https://twitter.com/Reince/status/1189000987136135173
  14. If you want to know who's voting for Sean, just look at all the "I'm going to keep voting for Sean because it's pissing them off!" tweets floating around on Twitter. You can say it's a fun dance competition that doesn't involve politics, but when you bring in a person tied to politics, especially one so controversial, it becomes an issue that affects the show. This is Bristol Palin all over again. The problem this time is that the show did NOT need this after last season's fiasco, especially after they promised all these changes to prevent it from happening again. I would not be surprised at all if the show can't recover from this and this is the last season. And if that happens, they have the casting department and this new showrunner to thank for that. That being said, I also did not see the slip up in James' dance. But he seemed to acknowledge it so I guess it did happen. Bruno and Len made the right choice. I'm not sure what Carrie Ann was thinking, other than she didn't want to hurt Karamo's feelings by making it unanimous. I missed all the pranks this year. The ones they showed before commercial breaks were lame. I always enjoy the live on-the-air ones. I also missed the type of team dances where each couple had a solo. Too much production in these team dances now, rather than the three couples dancing of the old days. Didn't care for the opening number at all. Just seemed to be a bunch of people rolling around on the floor in Halloween costumes. Couldn't even tell who was who. I'm really discouraged at what this season is turning out to be.
  15. To be fair, when she and Tom first walked out, I thought they were gold too. But by the time they got down the stairs, all I saw was puke green LOL. I think it's because she towers over just about everyone. Probably just not as noticeable in a ballgown.
  16. This picture is how I saw them. Erin Andrews Claps Back at Twitter Troll Who Calls Out Her 'Hideous Pants' and 'Bony Hips'
  17. Not sure why they didn't go two guys and two girls.
  18. Cumulatively, Kel has a higher score than Lauren. Rank 1 Hannah & Alan 23.0 1 James & Emma 23.0 3 Ally & Sasha 22.7 4 Sailor & Val 22.2 5 Kel & Witney 22.0 6 Lauren & Gleb 21.8 7 Kate & Pasha 21.7 8 Karamo & Jenna 19.8 9 Sean & Lindsay 16.3 10 Mary & Brandon 16.0 11 Ray & Cheryl 15.0 12 Lamar & Peta 12.0
  19. Teams for next week, per the ABC Press Release. I wish they would've flip-flopped James and Sean. Team Trick: James & Emma, Ally & Sasha, Lauren & Gleb, Hannah & Alan Team Treat: Karamo & Jenna, Kel & Whitney, Sean & Lindsay, Kate & Pasha.
  20. This week's voting was combined with last week's. I wonder if the judges purposely overscored Sailor knowing she was near the bottom 2 in order to try to push her over Sean. If so, it backfired. I think this new show runner sucks. The changes he's made have all backfired -- the judge's save, the loss of creative control of the dancers, and especially the casting. And I remember thinking he was so arrogant in his first interview.
  21. I remember back when she was a contestant she and Maks talked about her bow-leggedness and you could really see it in some of her dances.
  22. I recently read an interview with her where she said she wanted to be a photographer. ITA that her life has been forced by her mother. She got the Christie looks in the family. Alexa is the spitting image of Billy Joel. I used to feel bad for Alexa but I think now she's the one who lucked out not having to live in her mother's shadow. I was thinking about going to the tour this time (haven't been since 2009) but that number turned me off. Not only did I not care for it, but there was Jenna front and center again. And the Val/Jenna and Sasha/Emma pairings. I know these people are married but I don't want to see them dance together all the time. I actually like Val dancing with Lindsay, Emma and even Witney better than with Jenna. Much like his brother and his wife, I don't think Val has an ounce of chemistry with Jenna.
  23. Actually, as soon as they came over, Erin asked Val to say a few words. She never asked Sailor to say anything, and I saw her hug and kiss the side of Sailor's head as the rest of the cast was coming out to her. I thought Erin handled that very well. She also did a great job a few weeks ago with giving Lamar a pep talk that he really seemed to need. I know a lot of people don't like Erin in the co-hosting role but I think she really excels at encouraging and having sympathy for the celebs. I think this season has been her best as far as wardrobe but I did not like the pants. Maybe I would have liked them better if they were a different color but I hated that puke green. Also, while she's a beautiful woman, she's too bow-legged to pull off that kind of outfit.
  24. How James didn't get at least one 10 I can't figure out. That routine was awesome and by far the best dance of the night. It should've been scored as the best of the night. As soon as they came back from commercial, I knew Sean wasn't going home. About a minute later, I knew it was Sailor. How, you ask? Erin has a lousy poker face. And it's at its worst when it comes to Maks and Val. That being said, I wasn't sorry to see Sailor go. I didn't think her dance this week was a good as it was scored (seriously, the same score as James?!?). She has no fan base and filling in for Mom became old by Week 2. I'm just surprised Val's fans didn't keep them in it longer, but I have a feeling a lot of them were thinking Val was safe so they were directing all their energy towards keeping wifey around. I know I wasn't the only one who saw Sailor's snot shot. Kudos to Val for noticing it too and immediately stepping in front of her to block her from the camera. I also noticed that when everyone came out to Sailor, Val stepped out of the crowd and the only one who went over to him and shook his hand/hugged him was Sean. As I keep saying every week, this new voting system was a HORRIBLE way to prevent what happened last season. The judges can't save someone or send someone home if they're not in the bottom two. And honestly, I don't think they can go back to giving Sean 4s and 5s now that they've all given him 7s. Like him or not, he has improved from his first week -- not much, but he has improved. So you can't mark him down. I do think they've been overscoring some people trying to keep those 7s as the low score, but it's not enough. They needed to still be giving 4s and 5s for there to even be a shot of Sean going home. Unfortunately, him still being around is NOT doing anything to help them recover from last season's Bones shitshow, and I really fear this will be the last season for the show. I'll end this by saying thank God it appears Christie was not there tonight. I can't begin to imagine how she would've thrown herself into the middle of Sailor's moment.
