  1. I noticed that and was going to post the same thing. If someone asked what I appreciated about my kids, I was say I appreciated that they were kind, funny, helpful, etc. She made it all about her. I mean I still think she's a good person but also pretty self-centered.
  2. What was with that producer rubbing Taylor's tattoo? She rubbed his arm for an uncomfortably long time.
  3. One couple got married and had a baby, Amber and Ethan from the first season. The first two seasons I thought most the match ups made sense. I thought those seasons were better at letting us get to know all the contestants so I could see why people were "perfect matches". Last season, most of the match ups didn't make sense at all. This season, I still don't know who some people are. A few people are getting most the screen time. Noone else besides Kaylen seems to want Gio now, John doesn't seem to be popular with the ladies either. I wonder what poor girls will be stuck with them.
  4. I think its because she has confidence and didn't cling on to any guy that liked her. I think its the same with Tori. One of the guys said she was the most beautiful girl in the house. I don't see it, she looks kind of rough. When Kaylen had her hair up and I could see her face, I thought she was gorgeous. The neediness and insecurity is probably a huge turn off though.
  5. When John was screaming at Julia about his feelings for her, did anyone else hear him say he wanted her as his trophy? Thats not something most girls want to be, right?
  6. If I remember correctly, there was a couple from season 1 or 2 that had a baby and got married so there must be some reality. I can believe people get that attached so quickly, I've known people like that in real life. I felt bad for Emma, where is your self-respect girl? I don't care what he was telling you in private, publically he said he didn't want you. You said you didn't want to look stupid but then you did something stupid!
  7. Mainstream mormons are not supposed to drink coffee, it pevents them from being able to go to their temples. Everyone always assumed it was because of the caffeine, but the mormon church leaders officially announced that mormons could drink caffeinated sodas around ten years ago. Now they claim they can't drink coffee because its unhealthy. My dad drinks energy drinks with tons of caffeine but won't touch coffee??? I don't understand. Mormons definitly aren't supposed to have alcohol, but didn't the Brown women try alcohol in an earlier episode? It seems like they aren't following whatever religion they used to belong to and are just making up their own rules now. I don't think that is necessarly a bad thing but it does make them seem hypocritical sometimes. * I'm an exmormon with an extremely mormon family.
  8. When Sarah sent John to the elimination against Leroy, I think he was genuinely pissed. A lot of the veterans throw tantrums when they get voted into the eliminations. I'm not sure I believe he has stayed mad at her all this time. He was way over the top with his "hatred" of Sarah, he is not a good actor. A Wes/Nani vs. Tony/Camilla elimination would've been awesome. Who do you think would've won? I think Camilla is a stronger competitor than Nani, but Wes is way smarter than Tony. The challenge was very entertaining. I'm impressed everyone got naked instead of eating that yummy looking cake. I know it was faster, but no one was in danger of losing because of Nate/Christina. I would never be able to get naked in public and/or on tv, but that's because I eat too much cake! Thomas has always seemed boring and blah to me but I loved him this episode. Way to push Vince's buttons and to stand up to John. I also loved that he made fun of himself and his "dad" body. The abs are nice to look at, but there's nothing wrong with a dad body.
  9. I thought it was decided that Meriah got the same amount of money for college as the other kids. Didn't Kody try to talk her into going to a cheaper school? Then Meri offered to pay for extra tuition expenses from her budget, which she can do because she gets an unfair share of the money IMO. Am I remembering that episode correctly?
  10. I don't understand WHY Barb tolerates it. We teach people how to treat us. Barb teaches Jenelle that its ok to treat her that way by continuing to answer Jenelle's phone calls, driving Jace to her house and picking him up, engaging with her during these fights instead of walking away, not following through on her threats, listening to her cry and whine after her break-ups, etc. I can't imagine it's easy to cut your child out of your life but not holding Jenelle accountable for her actions is hurting her, not helping her. Also, letting Jace have a relationship with Jenelle is hurting him.
  11. The way Robyn handled it was so funny to me because it reminded me of myself. Mary asked to take Sol and Robyn got this look on her face like "oh hell no". Then she looked panicked because she can't say that and has to think of an excuse real quick. It seemed like an excuse because the tone of her voice changed and she was rambling and way overselling the whole "Sol can't be away from me for more than an hour". Then Kody or Robyn tells a fib and says Sol has never stayed with anyone else. Mary points out he has actually stayed with her before when her and Kody went out of town. Then Robyn and Kody go back to rambling about nightmares and Sol freaking out. Then Mary leaves all upset and Kody starts wondering why Robyn was acting so crazy. Really funny stuff! If what they said about Sol is really true and the new baby isn't even born yet, yikes! Does a four year old even understand the concept of a new baby and how that changes things enough to cause nightmares and separation anxiety? I had some clingy kids but they never freaked out when they went somewhere with their dad. I just found that odd. Then I wondered if Kody ever takes Truly out with him, probably not and that's sad.
  12. I really get into these reality shows and am usually able to delude myself that everything on them is "real". But that fight between Camilla and Nani seemed so fake. I think maybe they staged it to get on the aftershow /get more camera time? Anyways, it was so lame I couldn't even make myself watch the aftershow.
  13. I can't believe Barb was going to let Jace spend the weekend at Jenelle's house after what happened on the last episode. That poor little boy doesn't stand a chance.
  14. Why couldn't they find a new partner for Avery? I can't figure out why they sometimes find someone a new partner and sometimes they make them go home.
  15. No, they baptize anyone they can. They have like 60,000 missionaries out every year all over the world. They give a few lessons about their church and then try to baptize as fast as possible without telling people the full truth.
