Welllllllllll.... The 90's, this was during my 'black chick listening to Country Music' phase. I remember the established country singers weren't too fond of ABH and BRC when the song blew up; Travis Tritt (who I had the biggest crush on!) in particular felt that Billy Ray wasn't a true country singer.
