Spoiler Discussion: The apple was poisoned?!
Crimson Belle replied to regularlyleaded's topic in Once Upon A Time
It explains the entire soulmates deal a lot better. Robin is amoral, and Regina thrives off evil. Robin is the male version of Belle. -

Isn't it more hinted that Regina killed so many hundreds or thousands of people that she wouldn't remember killing one? Thus, it really doesn't matter whether she specifically killed Marian. She killed thousands just like her. She is still a genocidal, rapist maniac. -

If your life can be ruined over a guy you've been with for 2 days, then you need to get a life. -
Small Talk: a.k.a. 'The Meet Market'
Crimson Belle replied to stealinghome's topic in Once Upon A Time
We have an open bar at our society meetings. Our Board meetings is where the real work is done for the most part, and we just report to the Society and promote dances and functions. The entire parade/ball/event is a year round business/social group, and it takes about $375,000 in revenue to put on a parade and ball and pay for various events and to pay our mortgage. That's not counting what each individual purchases to throw, though some of the $375k is merchandising and custom throws. -
Small Talk: a.k.a. 'The Meet Market'

About 20 years removed from college. We had one of our bigger Mardi Gras society meetings last night, displaying the year's float costumes to the members. As a board member, I have certain social obligations, so I went to the pre-party and had shots with the costume models (they pretty much need to be drunk to wear the things around 250 other women), had somebody bringing me margaritas while I did my boardly duties at the meeting, and then went out for the post party (more shots). And I was at my desk perky and energetic at 7:30 this morning. -

Pair Joss Whedon and the ghost of JRR Tolkien, and you might have something. -

FYI, I can safely report that 5 kinds of alcohol in one night is not a good idea. -

I loved the Emma/Mary Margaret relationship in Season 1. And Snow and Red as friends. And the costumes. The costumes are awesome. -

No offense, but I'm not with y'all on wanting to see more of Emma's past. Sure, I want to see it, but y'all know good and dang well that with these writers, they'll almost certainly screw up the character and cause permanent damage to our perception of her. -

Well, in reality, it only peed on her because Snow's great great great grandmother accidentally scared it, so it's all Snow's fault. -
Happily Ever After: Relationships Are Hard

Excellent point. I'll add that if Robin does stay with Regina, I will truly believe for the first time that they are soulmates. -
Continued Adventures: The Fanfic Thread

Emma being helpless and being forced to let her parents take care of her is a lot of it. She doesn't show weakness often at all on the show, so that's what people enjoy about your stories I think. At least I do. -

Even if Marian escaped and somehow died of a hangnail or something before she could reunite, then it's also just as yucky if Robin finds out and still even considers Regina because intent matters, and Regina intended to kill Marian. And that would make Robin evil. -

And none of that is as traumatic as Bambi's mom or Simba's dad. -

I won't hear it over my own yells. I'll be cheering like Bama has won another national title. Well, almost. -
Regina, the Evil Queen: The Only Happy Ending Will Be Hers
Crimson Belle replied to Camera One's topic in Once Upon A Time
She has and everybody else should recognize that she NEVER EVER has any right to come to anything involving the Charmings. She should never have any right, expectation or sense of entitlement to anything involving anyone in the Enchanted Forest. Why? Because she is a mass murdering genocidal maniac who deserves at minimum to be locked up and really should expect every townie in Storybrooke to randomly attack her with battleaxes, arrows, bows, rocks or anything else that might rid their world of its greatest evil. The lack of normal, human reaction to her, her crimes and her very existence is mind boggling. Really it's not. Regina is nothing if not petty. -

That wasn't even close to the point, the point being that having an average number of clicks (really well below average for a post about Regina) on a Facebook page isn't a great indicator of popularity of a ship, much less indicative of anything that will actually happen on the show. -

Honestly, even on the Facebook page, 92,000 isn't very many likes. Just scrolling, a pic of Emma and Hook got 262,000 just a week ago. Lots of posts have over 90,000 likes. Heck, they could post a blank page and probably get 25,000. A recent pic of Snow and Regina with the hastag "SnowQueen" got 98,000+, so maybe they are as or more popular a romantic couple than OQ. -

Prince John sounds a lot like Sir Robin the Brave. -

They probably will kill Robin off, and then Regina will be sad and act out and cry and bemoan her lot in life. That would be something new and different. -
Robin Hood: He Owes a Great Debt to Everyone
Crimson Belle replied to Camera One's topic in Once Upon A Time
Robin Hood, along with Arthur, Ivanhoe and Zorro, was one of my favorite childhood heroes, and Robing and Marian are one of the great timeless couples. This version could be replaced by a blow up doll that Regina talks to, and it really wouldn't make any difference in the plot. This character has the name of Robin Hood, but it's not Robin Hood. I can see the origins in all the other characters, but not this one. -

I would very much like to see him in a Regina/Robin triangle. Incest be damned, Robin and Will Scarlet/the Knave would make a much better couple than Regina with either of them. -
A Thread for All Seasons: OUaT Across All Realms
Crimson Belle replied to stealinghome's topic in Once Upon A Time
But this is Once Upon a Time, where acting/reacting like a normal and moral person, such as Ava telling Leo, Snow killing Cora in self defense/defense of others, everyone hating Regina and being distrustful of her is BAD with all capital letters, while acting like a sociopath, doing evil deeds and blaming your own bad choices on others is perfectly normal morality and the preferred course of behavior.
