  1. I blame Upward Sports, where no team is the loser on paper, regardless of how badly it really gets beaten, which I guess is an example of the more general notion in some circles today that you can't have an opinion or have any morality or have any damn meaningful expression whatsoever if it would offend somebody, even if it's 100% truth.
  2. Not for lack of trying, Really, the fact more haven't died is because as evil as she is, Regina generally isn't that effective and pretty much sucks at just about everything she puts her mind to.
  3. Maybe Emma, or one of her many friends and admirers borrowed or paid for the boat rental.
  4. They really didn't. Regina talked about Regina's issues with Emma, mostly without there being a shred of truth in what she was saying. There was no talk at all of the mountainous issues that Emma should have with Regina.
  5. So I guess the show telling us we're to equate a 40-something (really 70-something) Regina with a 13-14 year old girl in terms of emotional development. That may be the most honest thing it has done.
  6. Can we all please take turns birch slapping this zombie that is masquerading as Emma until it tells us where the real Emma Swan is hidden? Oh, and fuck you Regina.
  7. After that last article, the Saints/Packers just got a lot more interesting.
  8. Awe, does her slave get emancipated? Poor poor victim Regina. I hope a leftover flying monkey with Ebola bites her.
  9. I, and all of my little subgroup in my Mardi Gras society were pirates for our Halloween party last weekend. We looked quite good.
  10. But you could post the comment here and share with the class.
  11. Because nothing on this show is so powerful as the contrivance fairy.
  12. Why does this show require every character to act like a complete idiot to further the plot?
  13. Dairy Crocodile? Though RumpleDairy comes off the tongue in an interesting way.
  14. It does to me. When every, or nearly every action the character takes is purportedly because of her relationship with a man, in this case, first what happened to Daniel, then being separated from Henry and now being dumped by Robin, I think Regina is just as defined by menn as if she let him directly control her.
  15. Regina was just as defined by a man for 40 years or so. Everything she did, all her evil deeds were according to her because she lost Daniel. She had the weakest character, and by that, I mean strength of character of any one we've seen, never really taking agency over her own actions, always blaming someone else for her own actions.
  16. Because her actions were inexcusable, and there is literally no way any no-POS, decent, human with any shred of morality could conceivably have any romantic feelings for her given the situation. So, they choose the same old same old ostrich method of writing anything with Regina. Bury your head in the sand, and just pretend it all has gone away.
  17. With Operation Mongoose, and given the symbolism of that name, it would appear she may be trying to reverse Operation Cobra. And Operation Cobra was about reversing the original curse. So is she trying to reverse the breaking of her curse so that she can get her happy ending, and thus, as a consequence, make everyone miserable again, stop Emma from connecting with Henry, etc.?
  18. OOOO I know! I know! The somewhat hotter Robin that Rumple tortured is the real Robin. The one we see is Storybrooke is some fake murderer/robber/rapist (hence the soul mates thing with Regina), but everyone thinks he's Robin because Rumple put them all under a curse to punish the real Robin who is somewhere imprisoned and being hot.
  19. Their moral compass seems to have been demagnetized. The entire way they want the audience to see morality and judge their characters is so dangerously screwed up that it's pretty offensive.
  20. Well, the show is at least convincing me Robin and Regina are soulmates, or at least would if I thought either had a soul. Both have the self awareness of an amoeba, and the moral depth of a mud puddle.
  21. There wouldn't have been anything left after I got through with him if he had done it to me. In yet another example of how our characters aren't allowed to show realistic human emotion, Emma was way too forgiving.
