Same here so no previews but they haven't yet done the false labor/Braxton Hicks trope which has to happen before every TV birth so my guess is that's what's coming next week....possibly followed later in the episode or an upcoming one by an early/traumatic birth

Greta has more maturity than anyone on the show except possibly Danny when he's not making people shoplift

I'm having a hard time caring about anyone except Eddie. His scenes with Greta were fun and he wasn't wrong to question the date's interest in his chair. She way overreacted there. Whatever they are setting up with Maggie and her show is just clunky and doesn't seem to matter given that with it being the last season everything should be working toward a conclusion. Are they moving toward the cliche of obnoxious but good looking boss turns out to be not so bad after all and one or both are attracted to each other? Or is he secretly plotting to get rid of her while she is on leave? Why is it so sinister that Gary's therapist will be her leave replacement? Maybe a little shady of her using insider info to know about the opening but otherwise she's not doing anything wrong, is she? I did enjoy Gary taking over the show and Maggie's reactions. Sophie is just stupid, are we supposed to feel sorry for her missing a musical life when she threw it away and not care that she was so irresponsible with Regina's property and business? I won't even go into why on earth Regina chose that location because it's been said here already. Rome and his dad, that's sad and being well done but it's nothing new and nothing I really want to watch. Katherine and Theo were basically just props this week which was for the best. I miss Katherine's assistant.

How I Met Your Father - General Discussion
TOWTooMuchTV replied to BetterButter's topic in How I Met Your Father
I actually really liked this second episode. The Sid/Jesse/Meredith part was definitely the strongest but I was actually pleasantly surprised that I didn't hate Ellen/Charlie's part because they are far and away my least favorites. It was a nice change to have the group split up more and doing different things for most of the episode. I liked the story retelling with more of the truth revealed later on, very HIMYM vibe there. I fully expected the reveal to be that Meredith had cheated on Jesse, so that was an interesting little twist for me. Also good to take a break from Sophie's dating disasters and explore other areas. Looking forward to a nice long second season. -
S03.E11: Call Me Prescription Roulette

Seriously this episode felt like they were trying to reboot B Positive, which....is not a good idea. -
S03.E08: Call Me Fancy Puffenstuff

This is super late because I'm just catching up on recorded episodes but I'm sad to say I absolutely hated this one. I've been on board with this show from the beginning even if it is pretty uneven but I couldn't stand how everyone was just so nonstop mean to Kat the whole time and she just grinned through it all like the outcast in high school who is just happy to have the attention of the cool kids even if they are mean to her. Even her "boyfriend" was in on it?? I won't even get started on the random sudden drinking problem. It was just bad bad bad, even with the sweet if kind of unbelievable Phil subplot, and I say that with the utmost love and respect for the late great Leslie. -
This is superficial, but did anyone else notice that Kat seemed to be all "glammed up" wearing a lot more makeup, false eyelashes, etc, than was usually her style? I liked the longer hair and less frumpy overall look, but I was distracted by her full face of obvious makeup when she was talking to Max on the roof. Couldn't decide who was more annoying this episode: weird starstruck country guy Max, control freak Randy, or control freak Kat. Honorable mention to whiny Carter. And where did Max's actually likeable girlfriend go? Obviously she was a placeholder but there could have been at least a line to say what happened to break them up. I hope the show settles down, I really enjoyed last season but this wasn't a great episode to return to.

I believe the little blonde boy seen here and there was Germain, the one at the funeral I thought was Jemmy (and I had the same thought about the red hair). Though the dark haired boy looked bigger/older than the blonde which wouldn't be right.

Absolutely agree with this!! If that's the message, it invalidates Eddie's whole journey and finding his way back to happiness with Katherine and as a father to Theo and Charlie (if he remembers she exists...if any of us do). She asked at first why he stopped playing music - so is her message that he should be doing that and not trying to be a good husband and father? What have we been following for the past two years then? Just because her problems stemmed from not being true to herself and she found her way through that doesn't mean his recovery has to work the same way. Maybe I misinterpreted but I feel like this advice sets Eddie up to going back to literal square one, episode one of the series where he felt Katherine was the cause of his unhappiness and wanted to leave his life to be with Delilah.

This is really beside the point of the whole episode, which I thought was really well done, but as a big fan of Being Erica I hope they use Erin Karpluk as more than basically a prop. I wonder if Gary is going to wind up interacting with her and focus on trying to alert her to/save her from Peter rather than killing him, since saving other people is more Gary's usual style.

I think he was playing the actual surrey, in that weird way elementary school musicals stretch to give everyone a role. Katherine mentioned that he had only one line. I guessed he was singing that one line she quoted ("chicks and geese and ducks better hurry," or something like that), since it comes right before the line about the surrey in the song. (Yes, I thought about this too, haha)

Am I the only one that could go for a Trevor spin off? Featuring Tyne Daly? His scenes were the highlight of this episode for me, secondhand embarrassment in the juice place and all. Have him relocate to a new city to start his life over - I guess we lose Tyne that way but it's the only way to get rid of Bonnie - and I think he could absolutely carry a show on his own.

This episode cemented my love for this show. It started out kind of rough but has gotten better with each episode. I hope it sticks around. I love that we get a bit of each pairing/group in most episodes: Drew and Gina obviously, his dialysis crew, her senior citizens and occasionally her wacky work friend thrown in, and a smattering of the ex and/or daughter, without it feeling disjointed. I enjoyed the "worlds colliding" of this episode with the dialysis group at the house interacting with Gina, and more of Damon than a sassy comment here and there. Even with the painful secondhand awkwardness of the restaurant encounter, I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of this one. If it lasts, it can hopefully fill the hole in my life when Mom and Superstore leave me!

A little bit of me wanted to see Emily Kuroda go off on Sam Mrs. Kim style during questioning. Other than that, I agree with what most everyone else has said. Emily is over the top annoying and self righteous and I don't care about her and her new boyfriend. I would love to see Luke truly move on with Sam or anyone else at all. Is the actress who plays Lola really quarantining or on maternity leave or something? It made sense but still felt weird that all of her interactions were on Facetime sitting in that one room.

This is definitely something I would/will say to my kids. This episode gave me hope for the show. Everyone was significantly less ridiculous and Orly was actually entertaining. Loved her messing around with Neil and his "friend" and he knew it and couldn't do anything until the woman left. I am partial to the actress because I just loved Speechless, so I'm glad she is (deservedly) getting less hate this week.
