This episide drove home for me that Dr. Now needs to get these people into a healthy cooking class, and not just an appointment to a nutritionist. I've seen it in many of the episodes. At first they only eat fast food or 99% fried foods make by their enabler. When it comes time to cook healthy about 90% of the foods they prepare (if they actually prepare) still look awful. Like those old boil-in-bag meals. Like the concept of cooking with herbs and spices, hell even just some lemon is so foreign. Does no one know how to broil?

Honestly 12 pounds is better than I thought she'd do judging by the Olympic level deflection that was happening.

The minute I hear "I haven't been perfect" you can almost bet they gained.

That food looks atrocious.

Hi Pounders! My eating habit was a mushroom omlette and an apple for dessert. Let's commence with this weeks train-wreck shall we?

I am an American and was a kid when it happened but I still recall news coverage on it hear. I know the spoiler of whodunit but there is a lot about the case I didn't know and am really finding this interesting so far.

Excellent point and it was also proof that not only did they not understand one another, they really didn't make an effort to. I overall like the portrayal of Diana, it shows her suffering, but also shows she could be difficult and a bit manipulative when she wanted to. Also I can't blame her for gettin' some once her marriage to Charles broke down. She was a 19 year old virgin, she got knocked up in about 5 minutes with William and I can't (nor do I care to) imagine Charles was a dynamo in the sack. So she did her duty with the heir and the spare, he's in love with someone else, so why not? This season has rekindled my dislike for Charles but tempered my dislike for Camilla a little bit.

I'm trying to wrap my head around Phillip have a single clue about who Billy Joel is.

As a Gen-Xer who loved alternative music I was glad to hear some of those 80s anti-Thatcher deep cuts. Britian in the 70s and 80s was in rough shape and I'm glad this episide used the Fagan incident to touch on all of that. We get such a glossy view on this show and I'm appreciating the notice paid to how many Britons lived and suffered during this time. Last season I felt like Olivia Colman didn't quite fit in her performance, but she's amazing this season. Her attempting to show calm and then swooning after he was taken away was brilliant and so humanizing.

The boys would have superceded Anne in line for the throne. It was only recently that changed the sucession to the eldest whether male or female.

Both Gillian Anderson and Emma Corrin are killing it. And both really worked on the voices and mannerisms of these two women. I'm enjoying this because it's finally a part of history I actually recall. I never thought I'd feel empathy for Margaret Thatcher and I know Princess Margaret was also and awful snob in real life. I do am however skeptical that Mrs. Thatcher would be quite so clueless about what goes on in Balmoral, i.e. not bringing outdoor shoes. How the Royals spent their time in Scotland was fairly well known, so while some of the intricacies probably would have been lost on the Thatchers, I don't buy there were quite that clueless. Same thing they did with Jackie Kennedy, who was a stickler for ettiquette herself so I never bought she'd not know precedence, etc. The rest of the cast, as usual is bringin their A game. I felt Olivia Coleman was a tiny bit awkward last season, but she's got it down now.

I thought it was Shannan without makeup at first. Just watched this last night. I had seen something about the case, I think on the That Chapter YouTube channel (great true crime stories and the presenter Mike manages to balance fact with some good old Irish humor). But it was a while ago so I forgot all of the details. As soon as I saw she was what I call "livin' that Instagram life" and was in a MLM I knew she was a mess. But I didin't find her annoying, I found her sad. All of these people who put in all of this effort for their lives to appear fabulous, when they could be putting in the effort to actually make their lives work. I recall a self help guru, and was a psychologist, who said: "The most controlling people are normally those who feel the most out of control". That seemed like Shannan to me. And when they showed those Facebook groups and all of the awful things they said about Shannan with no sympathy for the children was infuriating. It seems to me Shannan and her mother-in-law were rather the same with "strong" personalities which is why they probably clashed. And why her dimwitted milquetoast husband husband. He was an utter blank slate with clearly a lot of simmering rage who had probably been bossed around his whole life. Rather stunning that Shannan literally narrated her whole life and just put it out there. The documentary was very well done.

My son and I are really enjoying it. I'm assuming they'll have a second season since Molly's voice actor is being recast. I hope it catches on, maybe if the first season is put on another platform too like Amazon or Netflix.

Good evening Pounders. Only because I have your snark and company do I have the fortitude to endure the Assanti Brothers. My eating habit tonght was pan seared tilapea and creamed spinach. -
She got winded packing a suitcase.

Yep, she looks visibly annoyed by them. As do I.

Ugh I curse the day I tried their chicken sandwich. I started obessing over it. No more until I hit my goal weight.

None of them seemed to be overburdened with intellect. And that weird smile and snotty attitude are irritating AF.

Did no one teach Roshonna about eyeshadow crease colors and blending? And Lord that miserable puss.

That's because they all sound like they're being forced to read at gunpoint.
