  1. Hope Amy enjoys looking at Matt 2.0 for the rest of her life, too. Karma!
  2. I thought Lilah favored Amy, but now I think she's going to grow up to look just like her maternal grandmother.
  3. There was a recent clip of Lilah carrying a stool out a glass storm door and tripping and falling on the throw rug that was in front of it. The legs of the stool hit the metal door, missing that plate glass by about 1/4". All Tori could say is, "That kid is an actual wrecking ball." Does she have any idea how close to tragedy that poor little girl came? It'll be a miracle if Lilah lives long enough to speak clearly! Then what will she say?
  4. I remember her standing there ripping Matt a new one about something or other and then angrily demanding, "Okay, so where's this bike???" Matt was very generously lending her his Peloton so she could get in shape for a motorcycle ride and even helpfully had it loaded into her car for her. You're welcome, Atilla the Hun! I wonder if he ever got it back? I honestly can't believe he has actually put a big bullseye on himself by promising her the farm after he dies; she already hates him. Watch your back, Matt!
  5. Too bad Jackson didn't know Zach's shunt was at least one year past its maximum expiration date (a fact Zach admits he "wasn't super-aware of"); he could've reminded him to have it changed out! But you'd think at least Amy would've remembered that. Apparently Matt tried suggesting that was the problem, but as usual no one listened to him... I love how Amy was "jealous" of the new dog cozying up to Chris in her absence in the bonus scene. Never change, Amy!
  6. Watching last week's rerun with bonus scenes. My God, can you image how boring an entire show with Zach and Tori would be? Whine, whine whine; complain, complain, complain... Drama, "triggered," Tori is sooo strong (but apparently needs a lot of help), Zach almost died, he needs to be here for the kids, he still can't lift 10 pounds, "not out of the woods," but Zach does the dishes... Zzzzzzzzzz! What a couple of classic Gen Z babies.
  7. I so agree, but even then, it took a contract dispute over money to bring the filming of the kids to an end; the parents didn't shut it down BECAUSE the kids were turning into "little terrors" (poor Jen never did figure out how to handle them). Apparently showing off your kids to fans is highly addictive; clearly Tori is hooked on it, and even regular people just on Facebook and Insta can't seem to stop photographing and videotaping their own kids for social media "likes." I know one mother, addicted to technology, who actually coaches her young daughter with cute movements and fed lines, complete with several wardrobe changes a day. I guess she's hoping they'll go viral and maybe make the big time -- like Tori! I disagree. Christine, for one, endlessly posts pictures of herself and her kids online, mostly in an effort to rub her "happy" new life in Kody's face (not unlike Amy with Matt) and at least two of them (Paydeon and Gwendylyn?) seem to be aspiring to "influencer/podcaster" status.
  8. Zach and Tori have already done that since they discovered that ostracizing Matt and Caryn also meant losing their "support system" (built-in 24/7 babysitters). Suddenly Amy, who was yesterday's dog's dinner before (when they were worming their way into farm owner Matt's good graces), is the best grandma ever! They seldom if ever asked her to babysit then; she didn't even know where Jackson's stuff was or what he needed when it came time to pack an overnight bag for him; "Cha-Cha" had to come to the rescue.
  9. I wouldn't say Zach has "perfectly normal speech," lol, but then I wouldn't say Amy does, either. On the other hand, I haven't noticed that being a common problem with others. Of "The 7 Johnstons" (all dwarfs), only Alex -- who also seems to be on the spectrum -- and Anna -- who was neglected in a Siberian orphanage during her first four years -- seem to have slight issues. Jackson's seems almost "normal," but Lilah is light years behind and obviously not getting the help she needs from either Tori's back pocket or anywhere else. "The Little Couple's" children were also from orphanages, so I'd say it's hard to say whether any speech problems are due to their dwarfism or environmental deprivations in their early development.
  10. I noticed Tori videotaping and "interviewing" Zach while he was writhing in pain in the hospital, too; maybe she's in training to be a TLC producer? Interesting that they're JUST NOW concerned about the kids being on the show after five or six years of it -- sort of like they've JUST NOW decided Matt and Carcyn are "toxic" after they weren't too "toxic" to practically raise their kids for them day and night for years... Nice try at spinning it, ZiT, but if they weren't asked back, then it's not "their choice" to leave the show at all. YOU'RE FIRED!
  11. Yes, they're both much happier and better off, so hopefully Amy is done with being bitter and hateful about it... Hope springs eternal!
  12. There's no "right way" to handle it with a hoarder or a control freak, and Amy is both. Where Chris played it smart was refusing to move in UNTIL he got the housekeeper secured! I remember she also had stank face and ingratitude when Matt gifted her with a trip back to where they honeymooned (?) and the chance to shadow both a chef and an BnB owner, both of which careers she supposedly aspired to. I think that was Matt's last attempt to save the marriage.
  13. "It went on and on" because it was a way to rub it in Matt and Caryn's faces that they're no longer the preferred go-to babysitters they once were, but now Amy is head G'ma in charge. ZiT were actually just as rude and unfair to Amy back in the day, obviously favoring M&C, as they now are to them. Chris even said, "You just love being Numero Uno now, don't you?" Matt's foundation is huge because it's not only a large house all on one floor, but is also covered parking for his van, mules, cars, etc. It's his final house; his dream house. And why not? Heaven knows he worked hard enough for it! So is Matt now not planning to sell the farm, or is this contingency just in the event that he dies before it sells? Genius! If it stays in the family, no one can be mad at him anymore. Let Amy listen to ZiT whine and moan and withhold the kids as punishment from her, for a change, and also placate the other three adult children. Haha! And maybe it'll let his buddy Chris live on the farm at some point, which is HIS "life's dream."
  14. Matt DID say family could stay for free, to which Amy snapped, "Are you high???" (which became the episode title). "I can't see any of my kids wanting to do that!" she went on to grumble in her talking head. Guess she can't see past the nose she cuts off to spite her face? As for dumb Zach and Tori, if "the lifespan of a shunt is 2-15 years," maybe you shouldn't go 16 years before proactively replacing it? I mean... Amy, typical of hoarders, practically had a panic attack when Matt offered to hire an organizer to help her declutter at one point (I seem to recall the basement was packed to the rafters and unnavigable). Of course Matt was the bad guy, as usual, for suggesting it, and nothing was done; same as whenever he tried to discipline the kids; no wonder he gave up! I suspect a regular cleaning service was written into the prenup for Chris, as his neatness versus her messiness was a sticking point in his moving in, and they've mentioned that they're still "working on that." Jackson's legs don't look any better, and Lilah Rae is still not talking. "Tori's back pocket" is now going to save Zach's future shunt issues?
  15. Someone post the Reader's Digest version of "why we're leaving the show," please (other than "because we're idiots"); I'm mercifully unable to open the podcast.
  16. Let she who is without sin cast the first stone! Or HER who is without sin, as Amy would say...
  17. He certainly loves to travel, though, as that's their plan for future retirement, and he talks often of their "adventures." For a traveler, NYC is certainly on the bucket list? Seems he led a rather quiet and dull life until Amy came along; he's mentioned not doing things because he didn't like to do them alone. Amy was definitely born under a lucky star to have met Chris! All expenses paid; even MORE up Chris's street!
  18. Never been to NYC? Chris sure made the Big Time when he met Amy!
  19. Substitute teaching isn't a full-time gig -- or even a part-time gig. They look online to see where one's needed when they feel like working (babysitting) for the day or don't look if they don't feel like it. Salary is pretty good, too! Those trips aren't going to pay for themselves.
  20. What were the wedding guests supposed to do with those? Okay, maybe they have sentimental meaning to AMY, but no one else! That's how self-absorbed she is. I still remember Chris advocating for a second (possibly useful) gift and Amy totally shooting him down with that hateful scowl on her face. They were probably all left behind by the disappointed guests. Kick wedding rocks, Amy!
  21. A routine procedure for those with a shunt that they probably ignored and delayed unnecessarily. Sit down, Zach and Tori!
  22. They are ridiculous! Poor Matt and Caryn, after all they did for them, and shame on Amy for feeding into it and gloating over it. Tori (the driver of it) is childish and cruel. Cha-Cha's relationship with little Jackson was really something special. Amy was probably seething with jealousy and egged Zach and Tori on!
  23. Looks like she doesn't hesitate to let these sketchy new boyfriends get close to her toddlers. I guess anything to have help with them! Is she still living with Tammy?
  24. For the record: NO sympathy for Amy. What a thoroughly unlikable character! She may regret "screwing the pooch" by leaving Michael (and I don't believe he was abusive, either).
  25. Or with the TLC crew (the train doesn't run through Pensacola). Amy's meltdown was because she had to "watch the boys alone" while the others went to watch Chris parasail, although it seems Justin was home sleeping on the couch while Gage was staring at his tablet; she complained bitterly about having "no help" for a couple of hours. This really doesn't bode well for the boys' future. Since she absolutely cannot handle "doing everything," methinks Michael did more than she let on... She was also p____ at Tammy for "treating her like she never puts the boys to bed herself." She probably doesn't, because she didn't know how, and it was on TV. Ugh! Thank goodness this season is over.
