  1. Or when the guy says "You don't know what it's like to be oppressed" and Harris replies with "How long you been in this country?"
  2. Only 4 months or so since they shot the finale and Iain already looks 4 years older:
  3. I always blubber at Mike and Gloria's final scene and Mike's outpouring of gratitude and Archie trying to hold it together. Somebody invent a time machine so we can go back and end the series right there. Catchy spoiled it though by cutting out the bit where Edith catches Archie crying and runs back to the kitchen to announce herself.
  4. According to Chrissy in that episode, "It really wouldn't be right if you and I were staying alone". Cindy was mostly useless but she had one great moment in the episode with the flower store holdup.
  5. Alice had to ask Carol permission to leave the house to go on a date with Sam in "Fright Night". I watched "Adios Johnny Bravo" yesterday morning.
  6. Catchy Comedy aired a disclaimer before airing "Edith's 50th Birthday" warning of "scenes and dialogue of a strong subject matter" and slapped a TV-14 on it. I don't even think the original broadcast had such a warning. I'll be curious to see if they put anything on the KKK episodes on Wednesday night.
  7. Kay told Alice about having a bad experience with a previous employer and why she doesn't get attached.
  8. Ann B Davis's facial expressions were great in Goodbye Alice Hello - she really got to act instead of just dropping corny jokes. Made you want to punch out Bobby and Cindy. The other lady - Mary Treen - was good as well. Kay had no interest in being part of the family since it blew up in her face the last time she tried it and was content to keep house and leave.
  9. All seasons are now streaming on Tubi. It's a fun show - I know Thelma divides people, and she can be a bit much, but I think she stole the show along with Rolly the old guy.
  10. I recall an episode when someone hits on Roz and she replies with "I can break cinder blocks with my forehead" but I dont know which one it was. Does anyone know what it was? I'm sure Catchy cuts scenes out of their episodes.
  11. I rooted for Erica too - she was fun.
  12. Never keep your money in the house. They saved the two best episodes of the season for last - these ones had some good laughs and honest emotion. I loved the flight attendant experiencing Sheldon and then handing Mary a drink - which she readily accepts. I stand with the WGA but hopefully new seasons of this and Ghosts won't be delayed too long - Iain will be even taller by the time they resume filming.
  13. I thought it was curious that Lamar didn't express any interest in seeing his grandson. Not that he was missing anything...
  14. I believe the main ghost actors all signed 5-to-7 year contracts when the show began. It could be Nigel unless they plan to add John Hartman to the main cast. Thor and Flower happen to be my least favorite ghosts but I don't think it's either one of them. I'll go with Crash or Stephanie.
  15. It's either mean or sad (or both) that Sheldon's own sister would be happy to have him out of the country for 3 months or longer.
  16. I liked Dr. Linkletter standing up to Sheldon. Age-related Sheldon stories would be amusing. It would be fun to see him taken down by puberty again, but they probably won't go there. I wish the director would break Iain out of his mugging and mannerisms and facial contortions he now puts into every line.
  17. MIssy and Billy were the only points of interest for me, certainly more than watching Sheldon sit on the couch watching Star Trek for the umpteenth time. There are more amusing stories they could be doing with Sheldon.
  18. And now we're into the Billie era. Ellen Foley was good for New York authenticity but I'm stlil not a fan of the character. But John Larroquette's physical comedy skills are being played up more and Selma Diamond is a riot.
  19. A lot of people reject the early episodes but I like them, because I saw them when they were new before the show went insane. The show gets far less believable but much funnier, though Selma was irreplaceable. And it's fun to see a lot of the Barney Miller guest stars show up here. I wish the new show had these types of actors.
  20. Malcolm and Marty are hilarious as usual, and even Grover's been getting funnier lines lately.
  21. It's streaming now on Tubi, although some of the episodes are missing, for musical or other reasons. Missing from season 2 are David's New Job Pt. 1 (Part 2 is there), The Upholstery Ripoff (the one Antenna always skips) and Happy New Year (the second one is there but not the third musical show).
  22. https://tvline.com/2023/03/02/young-sheldon-recap-season-6-episode-14-george-mary-breakup/ https://tvline.com/2023/03/02/young-sheldon-baby-mandy-birth-georgie-daughter-name-explained/
  23. Mother Jefferson teamed up with Louise against George when he didn't hire a white woman (Mrs Rossini from Who's the Boss) to manage his cleaning store, and she saved Louise from being sexually assualted by Louis Gossett Jr.
  24. That was for seasons 5, 6 and 7.
  25. Pete's comedy routine cracked me up more than anything, and poor Jay couldn't see any of it. I still think Flower is the weakest ghost (through no fault of the actress) but she does get some funny lines.
