  1. The thing about having a villain to hate is you need at least a small smidgen of hope he can be defeated. There is none. He boots Kemi and he or Jackson will win the next secret power and it will get worse than watching Paul's cult.
  2. Unfortunately Ovi self-identifies himself as being a "cool kid" because he was class prez and went to UTenn like Jackson etc. What he can't get through his thick head is the "cool kids clique" on this show don't see him that way at all. All they see is someone who has brown skin, is socially awkward, isn't trying to get into a showmance and doesn't have stupid gym muscles etc. Aka not one of them.
  3. Grodner tonight: F-ing damn crap. Quick, editors, Make Jack Great Again! Editors: Not possible.
  4. I already did on the TV episode thread before coming here. (Camp Minority). Great minds! She did. I wish Julie said David and Ovi were free to roam the BB House equipped with paintball guns and could use them at any and all times. Of course Ovi would just hand his over to he beloved Jack instead. "Please, Jack, shoot me all you want." Sigh.
  5. Just when I thought BB couldn't get worse we have the very worst person since Paul winning HOH. He will definitely be nominating Kemi and no one dares stand up to his wishes in general let alone this week with his power. So ... Kemi, welcome to Camp Minority ... err, Comeback.
  6. Yes it was announced there will be some surprise or new twist or something on tonight's live show. (Forget the exact wording). It will be probably UNDERwhelming the way things are going though. ("Houseguests, you get to choose the new color to paint the door leading to the DR! And you have to choose it LIVE tonight!"). And I believe I read here that Swaggy/Bayleigh were offered the alternative or they were available of something and turned it down. I think it was more Bayleigh's decision too as Swaggy seemed all for the condoms as I recall. Not that I'm trying to recall and just trying to forget instead.
  7. Since no one seems to know what will happen tonight, has there been any "reasoned" (har har) speculation elsewhere on the "surprise" for tonight other then guessing David might have a chance to return? (If it is about David? Well the way this season is starting my guess is he fails to return because Gordner must hate me personally given this cast).
  8. And then he had them take him his special back way thinking he would bypass all the traffic. But it was a weekend so the route the Lawyers took was way way faster. If you cannot figure out what day of the week it is? I mean come on. Just ask someone on the plane. So it still is on him in the end.
  9. Yeah I was sad that Ovi was going until he offered to save BOTH freaking Jacks. No, no, and no!
  10. Jack is as white as you can get. A tan (he is from Florida) doesn't make you non-white.
  11. As I recall it wasn't because they didn't take a cab. It was because they waited for the much later express bus when an earlier bus with connections could have gotten them there in plenty of time. Which lead ironically to some teams on TAR Asia1 trying to navigate basically the same route remembering how the Guidos had screwed up waiting for the express bus so they took the connecting one. Unfortunately it backfired on those teams because a connection was either missed or they got on the wrong connecting bus (think that might have been it?) or something like that. Guess you just can't do paint by numbers on any season or franchise of TAR.
  12. ... and minorities. Especially minorities.
  13. Poor Ovi. Clueless to the end. The TV show (Grodner) tonight turned on Jack finally. He went from the "handsome, brilliant, popular, Mr Wonderful" edit to showing maybe 1/100th of the horror that is Jack. That is a start at least albeit a very small one compared to all the video they could have used.
  14. And his "reasoning" was basically that they aren't in his alliance that just "happened" to be totally white. Yep, Jack cannot get booted fast enough for me. The one hapy note was seeing Kaycee again. Man last season was so good and full of colorful but not hateful people. Not feeling this season at all.
  15. And in the end those advantages cost both teams dearly. Almost got the Guidos eliminated in Thailand and lead to them being so far behind they ended up in Alaska in the end and not at the finale mat. And may have cost Frank & Margarita the Race when they took the wrong way into Queens because Frank knew better than their cabbie.
  16. I just think he was just clueless. As soon as she mentioned needing to find a place to dress he immediately jumped up to leave. But she said no so he hilariously volunteered that she could go change on the floor under his bed, lol.
  17. Well my hopes for Ovi staying lasted all of 4 posts here, sigh. Oh Jack you don't even realize how many mouths, brains and middle fingers are wanting you up on the block. Hint: Not all of them are in the BB House either.
  18. Not good. But does this really surprise anyone at this point? You have people freely deciding to go onto a show they totally know about that is viewed 24/7 and then acting outrageously in very negative ways in front of a live audience so what do you expect? It's the overreacting crazy social media age. Be nice and no one will trash your "real" life while you are away from it. So yeah bad bad internet people for sure. But bad bad HGs as well. It feels like we are into the fall of the Roman Empire 2.0 at this point. Bread and circuses and riots and orgies and chaos. Sigh.
  19. Yep those are the only three I like I guess. Maybe Kemi too. Especially if she drives Jack out of the house. Jessica hasn't done anything one way or the other yet which is actually a plus. Can Sam be redeemed? He will have to install a muffler on his mouth but he isn't totally beyond redemption quite yet though he is getting close. All the others not named above are beyond redemption. Period. In other words the crappy people who have the power are going to make my summer miserable as they get out one after another of the only people I can remotely stand. Bummer.
  20. If it looks G-Rated so far it won't be for long. There is only so much editors can do to make 20-something, preening, self-absorbed airheads full of themselves look wholesome. Because this cast is the exact same cardboard cut-out type of cast they have always had on since Grodner took over. So I don't see anything wholesome about them at all. Just the same old same old.
  21. Add red dye and he totally looks like that red-headed Survivor girl that kept her hair braided all of last season.
  22. The sad thing is I found the Whackadoodle Smellathon the best part because I spent the whole time trying to figure out what "durian" was. (Thanks, ilovebeaarthur, for cluing me in). So it stuck with me. I already can't remember anything else about the episode except Ovi doing sadly dumb stuff.
  23. I think the BB announcer is upset that the super annoying narrator for Ancient Aliens gets much more attention these days. Even the BB guy doesn't want to lose out to that stupid show. But please don't copy his patter as in out of breath "astonishment and revelation" style: "IF Jackson is really a lego then does that mean he has super powers? And IF so does that mean he is secretly an agent from Planet Legoland. And does that mean Einstein was right that it is all "relative" and that Kat is an actual feline?"
  24. Serious moment here. Honestly I wish the human race would progress to a point that Grodner can't get away with her super gross villains she turns into "sweethearts" and rewards their behavior. Because there really is a difference between even trashy entertainment and tearing the country apart further. But the way to put pressure on her isn't petitions to BB. It is to the sponsors threatening a boycott of their product. That has been the ONLY thing that has worked so far to stop racist or homophobic or misogynistic things from continuing in specific cases. Corporations don't care about what is right or the country in general. But they do faithfully worship their god, Greed, and it's unholy bottom line and will do anything to protect same even if they have to do something "right" for a change. Someone answered this already. Just wanted to welcome you to being "one of us" "one of us" "one of us". You have now gone down the rabbit hole and there is no way out, heh.
  25. You are totally right. They said it had to be used the NIGHT of (i.e., the night right after) the nominations. So way before both the veto competition and the veto power ceremony the latter of which may (or not) end with a replacement nomination. They also said it saved BOTH nominees for the entire week, not just one. And entire week means that they can't be backdoored either. So it really doesn't make any sense to use it unless you are an original nominee because TWO people are safe so the number of available replacement nominees (and veto replacement people) really shrinks to dangerous levels. Especially since the power can be used as late as the 6th nomination. Or maybe a HOH could even use it since it is in secret and you just tell BB in the DR you want it activated that night. So no one should know the HOH did it ... nor expect it ever. Like at about that 6th week and you want to start turning on a stronger member of your own alliance you could make it look like an outlier on the block sabotaged your HOH and you are now forced by lack of numbers to put up one or two of your own. No one else using it would ever make sense though since you aren't protected by the mere use of it. Only if you were one of the original nominees that gets protection through it's use or already have protection as the HOH and you want to use it in some hidden, evil, back-stabbing plot scenario. I'd love the latter but then poor Ovi is only allied (he thinks) with people who are already allied in an alliance he is not part of, sigh. What is "durian?" And should I really want to know?
