  1. "Oh, Dee, this is Jojo, Tiny, Charlie you know..." Really tight episode, so many good lines. I like how the show can be big and goofy but still have loads of little gems tucked in as well. I also love it when a topic is brought up and everybody gets involved in different ways. Dennis just wanted to manipulate Mac into not eating his god-damn thin-mints. Mac just wanted to hang out with some dudes and get ripped, NO LADIES. Charlie wanted a mission in life. Dee wanted to nose in and take over the cult, and Frank just wanted to indulge in humiliation and general pervyness. To each their own. "Your place looks like shit, what happened?" "Yeah, it does, I'll tell ya what happened, Mac and his god-damn Assblasters Incorporated where in here jerkin around all day." "Mac and Charlie and a bunch of goons started a queer club!" "But mostly it was about the dangers of eating too many Thin-Mints."
  2. This season is Dennis's to lose. He's been pretty damn great so far. Love seeing KMK getting frustrated. "Well Grant, I tell ya what, I like to eat cock." "Whoa, no, no, no, no, no..."
  3. I love this show. I've always loved it and rooted for it. Its one that I really wanted to see develop, and shit if it hasn't been wonderful every step of the way. Ten seasons is a huge thing for a show to do and I couldn't be happier that they are still going. Favorite lines for my most recent episode, The Gang Tries Desperately to Win an Award: Dennis: What's with the black friend that no one is acknowledging...is black? I feel like its weird if you don't talk about that. Mac: It's strange to have one black friend and not be constantly talking about it. Dennis: Yeah, shine a light on it, make sure everybody sees and knows, like, "I have a black friend," and that's a thing. Mac: Cuz it's weird that a black person is friends with white people. Random anecdote: In the summer I am a wildland firefighter and it can be a tough job that really kicks my ass. We were doing work for the forest service last year, and was a shit job in shit conditions in the heat of summer. But it was close enough to home that rather than camp us out, the bosses had us drive home every night. It meant we could sleep in our own beds at night, but it made for super long days and almost no time off at the end of shift. So I'd come home bruised and worn out and immediately take a hot bath. Sunny was always the show. I needed some cruel, twisted jokes and before long it became a thing to watch Sunny in the bath. And now whenever I think about that, I hear Frank explaining a deleted scene in my head in my head, "It's my bath show. You know...the show you watch in the bath! It's a big deal to me! We're very connected Charlie!"
  4. I was pleasantly surprised with this one, as I am with all episodes. I love that Gina and Boyle didn't end up together again after both having to work, noooo, instead their parents are thrown into the mix and everything is delightful. I liked the added Scully (or is it Hitchcock? Still don't know) storyline, and his interest being strictly limited to the party sub. Lastly, I liked that Jake lost the case. More realistic that way. They tried to save the day, but it just wasn't there. There weren't any last minute shenanigans, and Sophia wasn't made out to be some evil or corrupt enemy, she was just a person on the other side. And, as usual, everything with Holt was comedic genius. Out of a cast of brilliant characters, he stands apart. And that's saying a lot, because I love each and every character on this show.
  5. "Yeah, classic neck-flap situation here."
  6. Great episode. Alan and Peele were great, I loved the scroll of accomplishments and Alan grabbing and eating one. The second segment storyteller I didn't know but loved. Terry Cruz and Morgan Murphy are always a delights. I don't know if I'll tire of seeing Derek Waters be bad at things, and seeing him get nut-punched by Murphy was just wonderful.
  7. It was decent. Not too good, not too bad. The lady had some terrible acting that grated. All in all it smelled enough like Constantine to not get my fanboy ire up. Constantine checklist: * He's a bastard - check * Someone close to him dies - sorta check * drowning our sorrows - check * nobody likes him - check * total badass plagued by his personal (and literal) demons - check I miss anything?
  8. "Take the money, right?" Never has a character been so summed up by one sentence.
  9. Montana's big. As a native Montanan, I loved that he got to die in my state. And so fitting, for a character that just runs from mess to mess, he literally could run no further. Such love for that scene.
  10. I would love some production details from the maker of the portrait, to be in the room when they commissioned it, "It needs to look youthful but cunty, SUPER cunty. Can you do that?"
  11. Maybe she'll name Ben as veep, and then he can off himself with painkillers and booze, first lady style.
  12. How many of us were expecting President Flip-flop Changed-my-stupid-mind to somehow magically renounce his retirement and steal all of Selena's thunder at the last minute? I knew it was improbable, but it still had the sinking feeling it was coming. What a great season.
