Subtle is not always a good thing plus this is summer so good old fashion hardcore action might be fun. Ain't that always the way though? Press that little red button and nuke the world. Ok I can forgive you for that. Kick a dog and you are mustache twisting evil. Too much Soylent green? Can't be good for you. And all good tv plagues have at least an 80% fatality rate otherwise why care?

The Nazi Kids story doesn't bother me, I actually like that particular brand of story. Even though the show is a bit of a mess the only story I outright do not like is the Lexie one. I hate the cult storyline. I don't know it just bothers me in a way I cannot explain. The other stories I can deal with mostly because this show is what it is. .

S02.E10: By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried
Chaos Theory replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Orphan Black [V]
I am really hoping that's not it. I think that somewhere, somehow they got a hold of Sarah's egg some other way or that She is just what she appears to be. A younger version of the rest of the clones. The only viable clone that was successful after the initial batch. Having another child takes alot of the weight of Kira but making the show too much of soap opera is a mistake. -
Honestly I think its her PimpOutfit. She is no longer Madam Mayor she is now just Madam. There was bound to be some change in her and especially on television inward emotional change is shown with outward signs like change in wardrobe. Amanda really can't wear her Outlander outfits and her Ponytail of Justice in this brave new world of hers. Although it was kinda hot but her PimpOutfit is strangely affecting....so win there.

S02.E10: By Means Which Have Never Yet Been Tried

I am kinda disappointed. I understand why the show didn't go that way (too dark even for this show - and I am not sure the actor as good as he is can pull off tough Military stuff) but I do think it would have been intriguing in alot of ways if they had gone that way. Yes it would have been sort of obvious but that is not always a bad thing. People put too much stock in unobvious storytelling routs but sometimes going to an obvious direction isn't a bad thing, Still we know now he is not a literal brother-sister pity though, the horror on everyones face if it was true. Well at least its not Donny. -
Season 2 This is the season where everything begins to come into focus for the Fringe crew. I loved the scenes where Walt was obsessed with Peter's childhood and his horror when he realized everything was his fault. Season 3 and season 4 run about even for me. I loved the two universes storylines. I am a ban of large scale stories like Fringe did and when done right they really do work for me more then episode of the week stuff that gets really boring after awhile. Season 5 simply because unlike many shows this one understood that it had fans that had remained loyal from the start and it was a thank you to the fans and not a fuck you like some shows are Yes it had some world building weaknesses but they were minor flaws that I was able to look past very easily for the emotional story that it was trying tell. Season 1 (Which isn't bad suffered from too much early on Monster of the week which I really do not care for,)

Helena just can't catch a break, can she? Is there anyone who hasn't kidnapped her? Hey Cosima survived the season. Surprising but happily so. Siobhan continues to stir the pot for very murky reasons, Evil dude clones. That is what this show has been missing. It makes sense now that I think about it. It is silly to think that EvilCorp would only make one set of clones and one gender. And honestly why chicks when dudes can fight wars and commit assassinations for you? It makes sense that Project Castor and Project Leda were done together and for different reasons. What are we at now? Science/Profit vs Military because religious extremism was just so boring. -
Is that a thing now? Or maybe Should I just move to Rosewood and be done with it?

I actually like that particular story. Amanda strikes me as a woman who has been strong for so long. Strong for her town. Strong for her sister. And now both have been taken from her. I think yes she is trying to numb the pain. I forget the actual line or lines but it involved her pushing her first husband through the airlock and how Datak was a cruel but untrustworthy leader of the family. But she is from a society where as a woman she can't even take a bath alone. So she needs her son to be a figure head. I think she is actually hoping that Datak doesn't return so she can run the family herself.

God I love this show. Amanda was all kinds of awesome and so was Stahma. I loved the scene where she was talking with Alak . What did she call it? "Straight Talk." What it was was putting him in his place. I loved every second of it. I like the new mayor and his designs on Amanda I find him interesting even though my poor shipping heart as a weird affinity for shipping Amanda and Stahma even now they have chemistry. The scene where Amanda tried to give Stahma her cut but she wouldn't take it sizzled for me. I really did miss this show.

I wouldn't mind if the show wanted to redeem characters like Ali and Fitz but from what it looked like on Wirly Girl it is like they are turning Ali into a pussy. She was the town mean girl and now she is scared of her own shadow.

Yeah but that is kinda half the fun and the only reason the relationship is interesting at all to me. That and both actresses are acting the hell out of it. Emily and her please love me eyes and Ali and her come into my parlour smile. Was Emily jealous of Ali's puppy? Because that is her job. Mona and Ali so need to rumble. Street fight! Just think if those two actually combined forces. The world would be theirs. All hail the new overlords!

Well I just finished rewatching season 2 the season where we learn the horrible horrible truth. It is All Walter's Fault. I love the beginning of the season where Walter is obsessed with Peter's childhood. Hey and we finally meet William Bell. This is the season where the shit hits the fan and...Walternate! Welcome to the other side people.

I just finished rewatching the 1st season on Netflix and the things I remember are how much I enjoyed the friendship between the characters from the start. The first few episodes were a little monster of the week but once you got to about the halfway point shit began to get real. (I actually forgot about Olivia's sister and neice.) I did notice in the beginning Peter was there mostly as a "Really Walter!" and to dumb down explanations for the audience but that quickly changed as his feelings for his father began to change. I remember really liking Olivia from the start and liking the fact that she was the star of the show. (I know the show becomes an ensemble later in the series but I do enjoy the fact that the series had the guts to make a woman the central lead). Fringe started as a monster of the week but as it the mythology began to become prominent I remember liking the show more and more. (The first half of the s series took me a couple days to get through but I trucked right through the second half). Now on the the second season.

Polly and Piper look for different things in a relationship. Boring is a plus for Polly. Piper has always gone after the ones that made her crazy.

S02.E04: A Whole Other Hole
Chaos Theory replied to David T. Cole's topic in Orange Is The New Black
How much sex ed/anatomy classes do you think these women get? It is the great debate these days who teaches children about their bodies and the answer is.... Nobody. -
This is just me; but what drew me to Fringe was a strong central female lead. Yes there are females on POI but they are most definitely not the leads.

S03.E18: The Price of Free and Fair Elections
Chaos Theory replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Scandal [V]
I am coming in late...,(yay Netflix) but after 3 seasons it seems i have a very unpopular opinion. I like the Huck and Quinn pairing. It is dark and strange and Interesting. Most of the other pairings and triangles got old by the end if season 3. I really hate the Olivia and Fitz pairing. I wish that one ended a long time ago but I guess the show is based around it so oh well. -
Unpopular opinion but I think Quinn's storyline was my favorite especially in the later seasons. I like a good downward spiral and hers is dark and fun. Plus I got tired of the Olivia/Fitz merry -go/round.
