  1. Santiba, I guarantee he's not going to pass your pictures around.
  2. Translation: Come to Ohio if you want. I don't want to be with you when I'm out. I've got about three other girls.
  3. Ahh...is that a steak? It looks much too thick.
  4. Considering her job, I'm surprised they let Tai film at work. This is not what I want to imagine my loved one's Mortician doing while she's working.
  5. I don't know what to say about this show. It started the season off strong, by moving onto a new crime organization, and having almost no Wheatley. I enjoyed the Albanian Mob story more than any of the SVU stuff this season. It felt like a fresh start for the show, as the Wheatley stuff from last season was getting old. So now they bring him back as a supervillain/nemesis which is just not that interesting to watch. I'll keep this show on my DVR for now and keep reading the comments here. I'm not going start watching again until or unless it sounds like there is a Wheatley-less story arc to watch.
  6. Well, this is the last time I watch this show with breakfast. Seriously, not what I was expecting from this show, in a bad way. Also, in addition to rewriting Miranda it seems Steve is also a different character. Steve was a nice guy, but he wasn't a bumbling fool, like in the farmer's market scene. If they are going to end that marriage, then just do it already. You've already ruined both of them. I have liked Anthony in the last few episodes. I'd be able to accept him as the honorary 4th brunch partner.
  7. While the Iggy getting in front of the cops gun thing was unrealistic. (I get that he's trained in the art of deescalation, but getting in front of a gun is dumb.) But it did feel inline with the New Amsterdam plots of past seasons when Max was around and the doctors would do unrealistic, but good things. So I was willing to suspend my disbelief a little bit. The truth is NYC is already starting to implement programs to send mental health workers instead of cops. So it's not far fetched that someone like Iggy could possibly be involved in a call like the first one that did not involve violence. https://www.npr.org/2021/07/23/1019704823/police-mental-health-crisis-calls-new-york-city I am happy Floyd is going to leave his married love interest in the capable hands of her husband. Let us never revisit this one again show! I don't really care that much about the London stuff. It wasn't bad. It was a little too disjointed from the rest of the show IMO. I imagine they are either going to have to find something interesting for Max, the star after all, to do in London. I'm not sure back alley clinic is going to hold my attention for long. That or move him back to NYC (which is what I'd prefer).
  8. Maybe they help with the vision boards.
  9. So Tai doesn't have a real job, or anything else going on in her life, right? That's how she has so much time to organize her inmate dating prospects.
  10. Funny you should say that cause I am spiritually one with this bottle of wine I'm drinking right now.
  11. Oh Max, don't trip. The guards probably found and confiscated her cell phone.
  12. Yeah, something is off with Cruella, other than the haircut. She is clearly the Daonte of this season.
  13. Hola bunkies! I am sooo excited for new blood in this franchise after LAL. Hopefully these new trainwrecks are entertaining.
  14. I don’t get this comment. Carrie finding a place to live after a major upset in her life is the only thing she can thing of right now. Being widowed is terribly traumatic, esp. when one is younger and when it’s sudden and unexpected. It takes time for the widow to figure out whether to stay where the memories are, or move on and make new ones. It’s a tough choice. Carrie is lucky enough to have options, financially. Although I thought that all-white apartment was hideous. The terrace was fabulous, but the interior looked like a it was set up for surgery. So cold and sterile, all sharp edges. You can have contemporary without looking like you’re living in an operating theatre. While I get that being a widow is hard. They established Carrie as being comfortable going back to her old, pre-Big, apartment. So having an episode where she moves for less than the length of the episode didn't feel like it did much to move this sinking ship of a show along. Carrie wasn't living at the place she shared with John, with all of their marriage memories, when she moved into the light box apartment. This seems like more of a thing Seema talked her into, and she didn't even find her a place that seemed to match Carrie's personality/style. If this episode were meant to establish that Seema is using her mourning "friend" for a nice commission, then yeah, maybe this episode had a point. If not, then this whole thing seemed like it could have been skipped. Carrie is still in her old place and seems to be getting along okay there.
  15. Miranda used to be one of my favorite characters (along with Sam). Watching her be not the least bit remorseful about cheating with Che, and not even considering being honest with her husband has ruined the character for me. Also, the thing with her masturbating while Brady is talking behind the door was just gross. I didn't care all that much about Rock wanting to cut their hair and change their side of their room. Even if Rock had remained Rose, kids do want to change their rooms and their looks as they get older. Dolls aren't cool after a certain age, even for kids who identify as girls. This didn't strike me as all that big of a deal. In fact I'm surprised Lilly never brought up changing the room on her own. The room does look a little... young. The Carrie moving plot felt a little unnecessary. Are they already running out of things to do with her?
  16. According to IMDB, yes. It was Geoffrey Owens, aka Elvin.
  17. I think if they have friends on the outside, or possibly a smuggled cellphone they can get themselves on prison penpal websites. Interested people will write letters or call them.
  18. I disagree. They came over uninvited and dropped off a mic and booze while Carrie was recovering and drugged. The mic could be interpreted as dropping something off for work. In which case they should have remained professional. Carrie woke up to her boss fingerbanging someone in her kitchen, which is just unprofessional as hell. I would imagine most companies would expect some semblance of professionalism if you are doing something that could be interpreted as related to work.
  19. I will never be able to look at those candies in the same way again.
  20. Daonte, you are an idiot! Lindsey, in a way I get it. Staying on LAL is easier than getting a real job.
  21. Daonte, you're even dumber than I thought. A Nicolle neck tattoo. That is truly an idiotic idea.
  22. Don't date an inmate. That is the lesson. It's not any deeper than that.
  23. Oh this chick is nuts! I am so looking forward to LDL!
  24. It's a sneak peak from Love During Lockup.
  25. I need to see Derrick's reaction to Daonte's new girlfriend.
