  1. I don't know where they find these people, but I'm glad they do. This is the perfect show for a Friday night with a glass of wine. I hope Daonte's Mother hasn't gotten used to him being out of the house. He'll be moving back in shortly. His "girlfriend" is going to clean him out and move on to another mark by the end of the season. I hope his friend (I think his name was Derrick) is around to to remind us all that he knew this would happen. So the former prison guard thinks it's a clever idea to meet a dude who has been locked up for god knows how long with limited contact with women dressed as a giant pickle. Who am I kidding, I am looking forward to seeing the look on her husband's face when he sees her.
  2. I am more disappointed than I should be that there is not a tell all for this season. I want to see if Bert made it to the US, and if Danielle has figured out she's only around to take care of the business and home while Garrick puts babies in Bert.
  3. I assumed Amelia probably wouldn't have agreed to move out of Meredith's after she came home. That was why the guys kinda gave him the look. I thought Amelia probably agreed to move to start the foster process. Meredith has a decent house, but there are usually too many people in it. It might have been a problem for a home inspection.
  4. I'm sad for Chief Garland. It looks like nothing is off the table as far as the NYPD getting revenge on him. I was hoping Carisi's relationship would work out, as I'm not a Rollins fan. Oh well.
  5. I think a more reasonable arrangement would have been full custody for Katherine, as she is more stable. Random drug testing for Eddie and solo visitation a few nights a week as long as he finds a suitable place to live, but no overnights. I don't see the harm with Theo spending a few evenings with his father after school through the dinner hour without supervision. I think supervised visitation was not needed here and may have been a overreaction by Katherine who has been through too much bs with Eddie.
  6. So Max who spent this season seeking out causes and trying to fix them overnight, just let the grandparents of his child have her. They make it clear in the opening scene that Max was being nice and not pressing charges for just taking Luna. He had to be told to fight by his not-quite girlfriend before he went over to his former in-laws threatened them and demanded his child back. Maybe Max needs to think of Luna as one of his causes from now on. Had this been the child of a patient, Max would have inserted himself and tried everything imaginable to keep parent and child together. I thought lentil soup might have been a code. Chicken soup is comforting if you are sick and probably not able to eat much else. While I like lentil soup under the right circumstances, I wouldn't go near it if I was sick. That could be just me though.
  7. I agree with the others who think Kimberly was a plant. The Winders are really the only ones who are doing this for religious reasons (I don't count Garrick) and have a church and community of like-minded people. Kimberly did not share their faith (they talked to her about converting). Also, if you are coming over to meet a guy you may want to date you don't dress like you are going to a ball game. Kimberley was brought in to make things interesting because the Winders clearly aren't having much luck. I suspect when/if Colton courts another wife it will be someone who already shares their faith. Danielle really needs to move on. It's clear she isn't okay with Garrick's choices. And Garrick isn't into her anymore. If Bert ever gets her visa, she will be a third wheel in her own house. That's if Bert and Garrick don't get sick of her and ask her to leave. After all he will be married to Bert, not Danielle.
  8. This was best episode of the season so far. Hopefully, we get more episodes like this, with police work and using the entire unit, in season 2. I do wish they would have left off Stabler's love life for the first season. He just lost his wife. He hasn't seen Benson for a decade. Hasn't bothered to call. It's too much too soon to try and make them a thing. I assume the Angela thing won't go anywhere, but the fact that she's already in love with him is just ridiculous.
  9. The in-law thing was totally predictable. Max has not come off as stable in awhile. While it was good to hear he does have a Nanny. It seems like he should have been able to call the in-laws less if that was the case. He comes off like he needs professional help. The leak finding thing seemed unhinged. He also seemed off in his apartment with Luna in the beginning of the episode. I can't tell if the writers are doing that on purpose or not.
  10. Yes, to this. Also, I suspect he has nanny/sitter or at least a nice daycare money (New Amsterdam's daycare wouldn't be the only daycare center in Manhattan). While it's nice for his daughter to be near family, I suspect they are building up to a showdown with the mother-in-law who is doing a lot of the childcare. This all could have been avoided if he hired help, and let Grandma be a normal grandma who sees her granddaughter on a regular basis, but doesn't have to commute in from CT 5 days a week.
  11. So I guess every week we will get a new awkward reference to Stabler. Liv is the ex-girlfriend who will never be over it. Except she was never actually a girlfriend....
  12. What a bad series finale. They actually introduced more plot lines to leave unresolved. I actually really liked the first 4-5 seasons of this show a lot. So I stuck around after that to see what happens to the characters. In retrospect I probably could have stopped watching after Fiona left. The writing went from bad to worse after that. I felt bad for Liam not being able to find Frank. He is probably the only Gallagher who would have benefited from saying goodbye to Frank. He could probably use the closure. He won’t grow up with him so he may not come to hate him in the way the older kids do. Other than that I felt almost nothing. Which is odd for a series finale.
