My bad. I'm mixing up my Scotts. I think I need a cheat sheet for past cast members. -

Wow Tyrice, keeping it real. Dating prison women because the bad diet keeps them "healthy looking". -

According to my DVR this episode will be 2 hours and fifteen minutes. Sadly, I'm looking forward to this. -
As a someone who loved Miranda in the OG SATC. I am super disappointed with what the writers are doing to the character. Miranda was in love with Steve. She had Brady as a single mom, dated another person and they got back together because they actually wanted to be together. They also chose each other again in the first movie, after their separation. If the writers wanted to break them up, fine, sure, but do it in a way that lines up with the original series. Also, Miranda was always a good friend to Carrie. I'm not sure I buy her letting Che up and fooling around in the kitchen. I'm also not sure the drinking explains the poor decision making. This version of Miranda constantly drinks. So a few mid day shots probably wouldn't do that much to her. Given the amount of empty Titos bottles in her backpack she probably takes a few shots during the regular course of her day. Also, gonna add to the chorus, Che is awful. In the real world, this would be a bigger deal than the show is making it. They would be reported to HR. Carrie isn't a peon who really needs the money. She's a wealthy widow, who was likely cast in the podcast for her name recognition. She doesn't need this job. There would be no reason to not report them. Yeah, I can see why Charlotte and Harry may feel a little blindsided. Rock came out with their identity on TikTok. They spoke to their teachers about their pronouns. They didn't send their parents so much as a text message. Instead of going to the school Charlotte should have sat down with them and let Rock know they would have liked to know they were changing their name and pronouns. Miranda ordered the book. She got a notice to rate her purchase on amazon. So it was one of her orders. She was drinking and forgot about it.

What I Liked: Miranda and Nya's conversation about regrets was actually really well done. I would like to see more of this Miranda. She's smart, thoughtful of others and capable. Miranda who suddenly doesn't know how to be PC, alcoholic Miranda and possibly going to have an affair Miranda can go away forever as far as I'm concerned. I liked Seema calling Carrie out on what she said. I thought it said good things about her that she didn't just let it slide. I also give Carrie credit for taking the criticism and not getting offended. What I didn't like: I know the writers were backed into a wall writing Standford out, but I hated how they wrote him off. The divorce made sense, but running off with a pop star he is managing. Either make him running off funnier (maybe have him run off with a younger gay male youtube celeb to make Anthony jealous) or give him a well written send off (kill him off on the show so that characters can send him off properly). I didn't like any of Charlotte's scenes this episode. Trying to make the neighbors she never bothers with come over so it doesn't look like she doesn't know any black people. Black people aren't props. It was cringy when she confused the black person at that party with another one. She did make a friend by defending LTW, but that doesn't make everything else less cringe.

I will give Lindsey this, she seems committed to staying on reality tv. It's much easier than a real job. Well, at the very least we will get another few episodes of Daonte's Momma and friend Derrick.

No Sara, Shawn is not as much a parent as Kelly. Shawn moved out to Ohio to be with his newly released prison girlfriend. Kelly doesn't get to do shit like that because she is raising 6 kids. -

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that could happen. I don't want it to happen. It seems like a bad idea. But it would fit in with the theme of Issa's romantic interests seeming forced this season. She clearly isn't in love with Nathan. It seems like Issa and Lawrence have had enough chances over the years. It feels like they should stay apart. At this point I'm hoping she ends this single and happy and not in a relationship that will feel hobbled together because the series is ending. I do love Molly this season. She seems to have taken therapy seriously and it shows. It seems like she is in a really good place to pursue a relationship with Taurean.

To be fair there is a pandemic going on. Maybe the showrunners didn't want to expose their staff to an actual packed club right now, so they rented a bar to film in. -

Britney, normal couples don't have $142,000 worth of restitution. Also, you pop bottles all the damn time. I don't think you've ever filmed without wine. Who needs Miami? -
Historically, Carrie has never been my favorite. I did understand her coldness toward Charlotte in this episode though. Charlotte's grief was just too much for a widow dealing with the early stages of death to deal with. Miranda is likely the rock, the friend who can likely support Carrie and not make it about how she feels about the situation. Charlotte was just too much this episode. She needed to find a more appropriate venue for airing her grief, like with Harry. She was making Carrie's loss about her own guilt and grief. I would probably have sent her home from the funeral home and not called her when the ashes arrived as well. It seemed understandable.
