S16•E10 - Judges’ Twist Mystery Box ANDY: “Let’s have a breast moment.” ME: “WTH dude??!” 😳 After 9 episodes, Lochy finally gets some airtime with his Lochy Pops. Why are the editors hiding him? He seems like a calm, well-mannered person. He translates well on screen. I like his deep voice. More of Lochy as talking head, please. 😍 I thought Josh C is crazy for cooking empanadas when Juan has impressed the judges with his version. In the end, thankfully, he nails it. Overconfident Khristian gets a really appropriate response from the judges - “what the hell is this”. 😆 The quirky, annoying nurse cooks a spicy bird that the judges love today. Good for you! Yo Nat! That silly ribbon on your head has got to go. You’re not in kindy anymore. 🤦🏻‍♀️ What’s with the botched editing this season? This episode has totally ignored Stephen, Pezza, Sav, Lourdes, David, Alex and Sue. Regarding tomorrow’s pressure test, I don’t want to see Snez or Sumeet going home. 🤞🏻🥺

S16•E09 - Elimination with Andy’s Mum Maree’s classic dishes are oddly unappetizing. Is Andrew’s mum the price to pay for having Jamie Oliver for 2 weeks? 🤔 Jono, there’s a thing called blow torch. Try using that to get your cake out of the tin. Raw lamb? Dammit Harry. Look at how Lochy cooks his lamb. By the way, we haven’t been introduced to Lochy yet. Why? I think Alex’s fruit jelly ravioli is overrated. Does it look like ravioli? Nope. Grooming wise, her messy hair needs to be styled differently. And I find her grin is disturbingly creepy. Lily hugging her after all the compliments is really OTT. 😣 Gill and Nat’s dishes in round 2 are so similar. They’re back on cooking with their familiar ingredients/spices. Darrsh has unleashed his Sri Lankan heritage. He’s cooking savory. I hope he continues to grow in MC kitchen as he has potential. Harry has a lot to learn when it comes to developing flavors. His pasta work has saved him from being eliminated today. I hope he will stay away from “the fish guy” label because it will limit him. Two dudes invoking the power of nonna to survive and one of them has failed spectacularly. Bye Jono aka Juan’s roomies. When the cameramen zoom-in on Juan, it’s always from the front or his left side profile so we won’t see the injuries on his right cheek. @katisha You might want to amend the title of this thread as this week starts with episode 16x09. Frank and Danny can be very annoying when they’re being stubborn in the “I am always right” kind of way.

This is my favorite episode of S07. Seeing Victor Tan fights the bad guys in tux is so satisfying. The stunts on the stairs are badass. David Lim is so underrated. Re his new romance, am not sure how long it will last because Olivia is career-minded and also an alpha female. I feel like slapping Powell when she keeps saying “she is a keeper”. B!tch, mind your own business. I also like the Hicks/Buck/Mumford story. It’s juvenile. It’s messy. It’s petty. Men and their childish behaviors. 😆 The Nichelle/Bruce arc is overstretched. They don’t need 3 episodes to wrap it up. Nichelle is a pointless character, it’s a waste of screen time.

S04•E11 - Redcoat Skrillex Girl is saved! Phew… Angus better makes sure OCCB has arranged protective custody for him and Mama Boone because Julian Emery nonchalantly talks about killing him in jail with a pillow. What’s with the nickname “Redcoat”? He should be called “Red Pyjamas” instead. Elliot doesn’t know who Kyle is? 😳 Oh man, Randall needs to improve his storytelling skill. It’s all over the place. Knowing Eli, his big news can only be either of these - an engagement or a pregnancy. For the sake of Bernie, am hoping Joe Jr. is working undercover with Redcoat & Co. Being discharged from the army is his cover story. He’s in too deep and Elliot/Randall will come to his rescue. 🤞🏻

It’s odd that Abigail is intimidated by Frank when she usually sets him straight every time he crosses the line. Her remarks about Frank being a commissioner because of Henry is really out of line and out of character too. Erin provides a good insight about why Abigail doesn’t want to talk about her marital situation with Frank. His unwillingness to compromise his values can be intimidating to some people especially during vulnerable times. It’s obvious that Jamie inherits Frank’s leadership genes, Danny has his annoying genes and the judgemental Erin is blessed with his intimidating genes. Lucky Reagans! 😆 We are getting “breadcrumbed” about Danny/Baez. Yes, we get it. It’s the end game. And am OK with it. Captain McNichols is always unlikeable. I never understand why she’s being promoted after she punched her colleague due to some disagreement regarding her daughter’s soccer/baseball game. There’s no consequences for her inappropriate behavior with her subordinate. She transfers him out, end of story. It’s f-king annoying. 😣

It’s annoying that the main purpose of Jo’s alcoholism is to serve Hailey’s character, not her own. Rehab or not, that disease is a liability to Jo’s character and to Intelligence - if they wanna bring her in.

I am disappointed at first because I really want Madney’s wedding to be perfect after what they’ve been through - intimate ceremony at a gorgeous location with Jee Yun as their flower girl and everything. Then they have to settle for a hospital wedding. But JLH’s rendition of the timeless classic “Islands in the Stream” has changed my mind. It’s a perfect backdrop for the ceremony with Bobby marrying them and Jee Yun as their balloon girl. It’s intimately beautiful. 💙 All they need to do now is stay safe, don’t leave home, no honeymoon etc. Chim hallucinating about Kevin saving him has brought me to tears. Chimney Begins episode feels fresh in mind, it’s like Kevin never left. 😭💔

That’s a genre-bending twist! The reveal is tastefully done. It’s very intimate with the lingering feeling of longing. He needs to go home for just one night. Now we know why he has such a made-up name. He can deflect bullets but it seems that hiding in human form has taken a toll on his body - all the symptoms he’s having. With Stallings gone, is Miller the big bad? Or is Miller working for a big bad that we haven’t met yet? How’s all of this connected to Olivia’s disappearance? Did she witness something that she wasn’t supposed to? Was she taken by the covert organization? Is this why they want Sugar to stay away from this case? Did they do something to his sister, Olivia or even Rachel Kaye? Hopefully Henry will not betray Sugar, or else he’ll have nobody to trust. He cannot be himself with Melanie and Charlie. I truly hope Charlie is OK and we’ll hear about her soon.

Jo getting behind the wheel feels contrived. She has been shown as a functioning alcoholic. But hey, anything to serve Hailey - the most important and beloved character in Chicago PD. 🙄
