  1. Did he? The last thing the principal said was “You quit”. I guess he might have meant last season? Never mind. I’m glad he got his job back.
  2. I should have seen this coming. The San Antonio trip when Wayne and Darlene seemed like the happy couple and the one doing everything right while George and Mary were doing everything wrong, oh how the turntables. Poor Wayne. And it looks like Mandy is finally starting to appreciate George.
  3. Adam said he hadn’t had any waitressing experience but he did work in that ice cream shop with Brea in that Season 8 episode so even though he wasn’t a waitress it was technically a continuity error. That can be counted as similar experience and he should’ve mentioned that. What became of that job anyway?
  4. I think Mandy’s dad probably bought the tire place from Herschel. That’s my theory.
  5. Not a terrible episode tonight but I didn’t like how Adam was made out to be the bad guy for not accepting that they’ve changed when Dave Kim and his new friends were total jackasses. Only problem I had with Adam was not telling Beverly where he was going. And Geoff and Erica kinda asked for no alone time with Muriel when they moved back in. They should’ve known how Beverly was gonna take over. Maybe move back into your own place? The JTP plot was hilarious. Muriel steals the show!
  6. Production has been paused. He had filmed 9 episodes.
  7. I’d be OK with that. I’ve seen enough death episodes with John Ritter (years later, admittedly), George Segal and Jeff Garlin’s character.
  8. RIP Leslie. Thank you for the laughs on this show. My heart is broken. 💔 I imagine they will kill Phil off like they did John Ritter’s character on 8 Simple Rules and George Segal’s character last season on The Goldbergs. It’s too early fo speculate the future of the show. They are already signed for 22 episodes this season. But this definitely puts Season 4 in question So maybe he could become a regular cast member but there’s no replacing Leslie. 💔 George Segal’s death happened late enough in the season that his character wasn’t killed until the beginning of the following season, but they will probably do something before the end of this season.
  9. Maybe real Beverly told them she would calm down on social media if they toned down TV Beverly. Real Beverly was going off on Twitter right about the time they “flanderized” TV Beverly at the beginning of Season 8 and now real Beverly has taken the high road on social media so it makes you wonder.
  10. She graduated early, on an “off cycle.” So it would’ve made more sense for her to graduate/have the baby in the December 7 Hanukkah episode, as most colleges have a winter and a spring graduation but not a fall one. Then her water could’ve broke right before her ceremony and they could’ve given her her diploma in the hospital. But I guess Penn College of the East has quarters instead of semesters so it does make a shred of sense. The quarter system was a thing in the 80s. It’s just odd …May to October is not long enough to be pregnant unless it’s a preemie. And people have babies before finishing college all the time. They couldn’t have saved the graduation or the birth for the season finale? Everything is rushed this season. Almost like the season is going to end early. By the way
  11. I imagine they had twins playing Carl (Thor). Max was a real jackass when Kat was having trouble setting up the pack and play. He couldn’t have spared just a few minutes to help her? Really cute episode though I didn’t care for the Randi/Carter scary movie subplot. Can’t wait for the Parker Young episodes.
  12. Yeah she was probably on lunch break. Season 6 is already so much better than Season 5 so far. Glad Mandy finally let her guard down and is staying with MeeMaw. She probably needed to do that anyway. Georgie is so good to her. Mary is so much more likable without the church. She doesn’t need them. Their loss. And it’s helping their marriage.
  13. I agree, we really didn’t need to see Kat driving Sheila around for the rest of the series. That is going to get old. Can she get a second opinion? She can’t have Lasix surgery or something? And yes she needs to tone it down with the wisecracks about Kat’s glasses. And she can’t drive on an expired license. The Max plot was pretty funny.
  14. Katy was going to be in “Unplanned in Akron” which was rumored to be at least a midseason pickup for CBS, after B Positive, United States of Al and How We Roll were all cancelled I thought it was a shoo-in, but nope. CBS didn’t pick it up and just went with four comedies this season. 🤦🏼‍♂️
  15. I didn’t know y’all made a new forum for this show. My very first Primetimer post was on the old American Housewife forum. Someone compared Julia Butters to Sophia on Life in Pieces, three years before Giselle replaced her as Anna Kat (I didn’t see the post until the cast change was made). But yeah ABC made a huge mistake cancelling this show. They could’ve at least gave them some notice. At least give them a full season. Home Economics was created solely to push this show out the door.
  16. Whatever happened to Laura Bell Bundy? I guess they broke up and that song was about her. But we need an explanation. I guess Randi could do whatever she wanted to with the cafe while Kat was gone…but WOW…technically it was still Kat’s cafe.
  17. So they had all that “You are invited to the Goldbergs gender reveal” only to find out they still don’t know for sure and they decided at the ultrasound at the end that they didn’t want to find out. And Adam was disappointing. I think ABC forced that on them to save money. They won’t have to use that set now. But don’t lie about a job. He can go work at the furniture store for now. Too bad Formica Mike is on East New York now.
  18. I have no problem with killing off Murray and the baby and the time jump and the Field of Dreams episode but can just one kid be out of the house. And wait til you see the episode description for the season premiere. It gets worse. It’s become Full House. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
  19. The absolute worst finale I have ever watched. I guess they assumed CBS wouldn’t cancel it. What did you think was going to happen Riley, when you went over there, that he’d be OK with you sleeping with his fiancé? At least Vanessa had sense enough to break off the engagement. But still. And Cindy, way to go all Myra Monkhouse (from when she went all psycho on Steve Urkel near the end of Family Matters) and screw it up with Adriana! A GPS tracking device? Really? And she really pissed off Lizzie, who deserved better in this episode too. AL SHOULD’VE BEEN WITH ADRIANA! But we get multiple episodes of the Cindy show and Riley sleeping with Vanessa only for her to fail to break it off with Freddy first. Now I see why CBS cancelled this show. This episode was terrible. I should’ve seen this coming. Should’ve ended with Al and Adriana together. Adriana should’ve punched Cindy in the face! I did like Riley and Hazel up on the roof and Riley and Al headed to Vegas but freaking Cindy gets the last line of the series, of all people. The last scene should’ve been Al and Adriana kissing.
  20. Don’t understand why Bruce can’t stay at the house when Lillian is gone to Birmingham? But that would’ve made too much sense and been too convenient. It’s gonna be a long wait til Season 2. In the meantime I have plenty of time to watch the episodes I missed. I missed almost all of the beginning of the season.
  21. I was the one who posted that on the subreddit. You may know me as SuperDescription169. You’re welcome? I was surprised he seems to want Murray killed off. I thought he would want the show to stick to exactly what happened in the 80s. (Pops was different as he died in real life). Or maybe he just wants the show to break from nonfiction and kill him now instead of flashing forward to 2008. Either way I thought he would be dead set against killing him off. If they don’t kill him off they need to recast. CGI was fine for this season but now they need to figure something else out. And they better not divorce.
  22. Actually I liked Shrub and Kelly and I thought Randi was being rude to them. I watched the six previous Call Me Flatch episodes Sunday night and the one that aired on Fox Thursday night, Monday night ahead of the Fox airing. I like WTF. But I was not a fan of this episode other than Shrub and Kelly and Laura Bell Bundy.
