  1. I don’t know if she was OK with it but she did eventually move on in real life. She eventually took the high road on Twitter. Perrot really chased after her first.
  2. You can be forgiven for that. ABC didn’t announce it until a few days after filming wrapped for the season so it really didn’t feel like a series finale until the end. I thought it was a pretty good episode considering. Just one complaint. I wish Lea Thompson (Lorraine McFly) who played Formica Mike’s ex-wife had gone instead of Ginzy since it had been a Back to the Future theme.
  3. I hate to wish cancellation on this show, but don’t know how you can possibly come back for Season 3 after that ending.
  4. I stand corrected….the 1987 Stanley Cup Finals between the same two teams went 7 games https://www.hockey-reference.com/playoffs/1987-edmonton-oilers-vs-philadelphia-flyers-stanley-cup-final.html
  5. To be fair he was an Oilers fan…has been since Season 2 even though he was also shown to be a Vancouver Canucks fan in another episode but those two aren’t huge rivals so whatever. And he didn’t expect the Flyers to do so well but it kinda snowballed on him. But he still did them dirty. I missed Formica Mike. I guess he was too busy filming East New York. And Vic fit better being a fan of the opponent. This matchup happened in real life in the 1985 Stanley Cup Finals, except that the Flyers lost 4 games to 1, not 4 games to 3. https://www.hockey-reference.com/playoffs/1985-edmonton-oilers-vs-philadelphia-flyers-stanley-cup-final.html The Schwartz plot…wow. Lou and Linda are something else. Don’t put this all on Geoff and Erica. If you want to see your granddaughter, go see her or pick up the phone and call. Communication works both ways. They are trying to portray them to be helpless elderly people and I bet the real Lou and Linda aren’t thrilled.
  6. They should have kept Vicki Lawrence and never brought on Gideon. But toned down Gideon is still better than Sheila. And very disappointed in Randi for having the doctor perform Carter’s vasectomy during Carter’s colonoscopy. But I guess Carter did ask for it. Loved the Phil moment.
  7. Real Adam didn’t like how they handled either. Albert was not cremated in real life, and he wanted a funeral episode for Murray.
  8. The calendar in 2023 was completely identical to 1995 as well. He literally tried that in “Moms Need Other Moms” but was shot down.
  9. Last night’s episode was much better. Loved the return of Lainey.
  10. It even got cancelled in a way similar to Full House (just a few months before the final episode aired). I get the feeling the cast got the heads up though.
  11. Heather’s mom called earlier and said Missy wasn’t over there. Heather had told her that she was at Missy’s.
  12. Paige needs help…good job Missy. We need a followup on that. Was it Heather B or Heather M? I loved the Georgie/George conversation I was not OK with them slipping in Dale and MeeMaw getting back together a few episodes ago and we don’t need to know about Dale’s Charley horse…but the Dinosaurs part was awesome. I can’t blame Mandy for crashing at the Coopers.
  13. I just came on here to say he was also on The Conners last night as one of Darlene’s interviewers. I mean it was bad enough that I am putting up with him on Thursday nights on Fox but now he shows up on The Conners too? Good gosh. Thank goodness Darlene didn’t get that job. (I’m not excusing Darlene for her behavior last night but he’s so annoying.) CMK should have kept Vicki Lawrence and kept it in the family!
  14. Second worst episode of the season tonight next to the Kirk episode. We waited four weeks for this? Last I checked Old McDonald was not offensive and shellfish allergies did not exist in the 80s. I think they forgot which decade the show was in. I bet real Beverly hated this episode too. And Barry’s outfit was just disgusting. Who thought it was a good idea to dress him in lunch meat? Lucky was the only good part of the episode. And Barry suddenly likes sharing a room with his brother? W T F?????
  15. It was still episode 4. So next week’s would be the original episode 3
  16. I enjoyed Ana Gatseyer on The Goldbergs as Ms. Cinoman so I definitely wanted to check this out. It wasn’t easy for me. The perm was OK but I found most of Season 1 really boring. I stopped watching in the middle of the fourth episode last year. Had trouble getting into the episodes. But I put the remaining episodes on keep just in case I reconsidered and I finally finished Season 1 Sunday. It still took me til like the 8th episode to really get into it. The last three episodes of Season 1 were better. The season premiere (which to me could’ve been last season’s finale) was its best episode yet.
  17. Well they finally addressed Ms. Cinoman now being on American Auto. To be fair I guess they didn’t have to til tonight. They might as well say she resigned. Next to the birth episode it was the best of the season. For once it wasn’t Beverly who tried to ruin it for Adam, it was Principal Ball. I hope they keep him in this role at William Penn for the rest of the season. Better than singing “Coconuts” and being demoted to a janitor at a 50s diner. I don’t remember those types of computers back then but that will be handy for when he does go to NYU. The Three Men and a Baby storyline was also well done, I did have some issues with the episode. Andy did have a girlfriend in Season 8 in DeeVorced and Naked Rob is not a pedo, I don’t know where that came from. I was disgusted when they threw that part in. And since when did Geoff leave the JTP? Shouldn’t have told those girls at the bar Geoff was married. Oh, and what’s up with most of the scenes/clips in this promo not even airing?
  18. I would love to have her on permanently as long as they tone her down but I definitely didn’t like her trying to take over tonight. It’s Sheila who has been getting on my nerves. Her pot shots at Kat are getting to be a bit much.
  19. Who let Brea’s new boyfriend in the JTP? Adam ended up being a jerk and was in the wrong but I didn’t like how Kirk was just shoehorned in the show last night. Last night was just awful. Carmen is growing on me though.
  20. I have a feeling Max is going to end up in AA. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of his drinking problem. Unfortunate that this had to happen in Leslie’s last episode but they had already filmed it. Swoozie is insufferable. The wisecracks are going way too far. This was a horrible episode other than Leslie’s happy ending.
  21. Should’ve just had Brea playing the Carmen role and the real Brea (her mom) playing the Brea role. Brea could’ve been home for the weekend picking up shifts.
  22. Pretty decent Thanksgiving episode except uncle Marvin ran off the poor librarian from Young Sheldon who ended up being the surprise GIRLFRIEND, not relative…nice little reference to that show though when Glascott was talking about his turtles, one of them being named Sheldon. And Barry could’ve helped with the groceries after offering to host Thanksgiving.
  23. Wonder Years was screwed over by Home Economics not getting a full season. If HE had got the back 9, they could’ve found room for Wonder Years in February either on Wednesday or on a different night. HE actually deserved a full season this year. The ratings were there this year. But this year they were the only fall sitcom not to get the back 9 and with Not Dead Yet replacing that at 9:30, ABC didn’t have another sitcom available to pair with the Wonder Years. I don’t know where ABC will put this in the summer. It could end up on Hulu or Disney+.
