Now they show Tsarina feeling pressure, even though she handled the previous season by herself. Then she and Jason have a disagreement about the crew meals on the day off, after he was blunt about the dishes she served the night before. I don't know it seems they want to show her having a meltdown. Now they have a love triangle situation with Tsarina and Marina both supposedly interested in Wihan. Would co-workers blatantly pursue someone fancied by a co-worker? This cast hasn't known each other that long but just to avoid drama? Or maybe the point is to increase the drama. At the end of the episode, you hear Tsarina's voice calling Marina a backstabbing bitch. But you don't see her face saying it so they could have looped that in afterwards. Also, how would Tsarina not know Wihan and Marina were going out on a little date? The camera crews must be following them, including when they were on the boat. As far as the other hookups, they don't waste time this season, this is only the second charter and you have 2 or 3 couplings lining up. It's a big deal now that Harry and Brianna supposedly like each other because she's a runway model. Aren't they suppose to be tall, like 5-10 or taller? In any event, she's making up cabins on a boat, unless she wants to be on the show to boost her social media profile or something. Maybe she is that tall because Lara is teasing Brianna about her and Harry having baby giraffes. The producers don't seem to like Erik, the primary charter guest who's a life coach and he's dispensing advice constantly to the other guests. The crew don't seem impressed with him, the stupid things he keeps saying. But how did they pick up him saying he gave the best exit speech when he was off the boat and entering the taxi? Does he still have a microphone on him? Or did they also loop him in afterwards, though why would he participate, considering that he comes across looking ridiculous, with the crew and the other guests rolling their eyes at him.

It is for this kind of show. Once the mystery is revealed, the show is over. And they could easily reveal the mystery within 2 seasons. Obviously it's a choice not to. Now if they wanted to make a show which can organically be sustained for 5 seasons, they write a different kind of story. But that is not the case.

Well it's the same physical person. Different personas of the same person though. With people debating whether Helena "raped" Mark by pretending to be Helly, maybe this question comes up when Gretchen bangs Innie Dylan. In that case, it would be a non-severed person banging one of the severed personas. Otherwise same body. Whereas with Helena and Mark, it was a severed Outie pretending to be the Innie. I don't want to get too deep into that philosophical debate. What happens if a person has sex with one personality of a person suffering from multiple-personality disorder thinking he or she was being intimate with another personality of that person? Is that a similar criminal or moral offense?

It better be the brother's butt. It was hairy. Not real hirsute but definitely hairy and not a woman's ass.

Lochy stared at Saxon’s bare butt a little too long. Timothy “only made $10 million” from the shady deal that he’s worried about. Time zone difference is inconvenient but didn’t he choose to bring the whole family to Thailand? Piper doesn’t even like this kind of resort, she’s so spiritual — though she’s taking advantage of the amenities. Saxon adds racist stereotypes to his repertoire, the Thai massage happy endings and there being a lot of lady boys. Victoria thinks she’s too good for actresses and non Tar Heels, blows off Kate. Resort has all that bling? Gaitok may get in trouble for letting the robbers in. Will Mook give him a chance? Doesn’t seem like she’s going to, maybe concern for him being okay gets him out of the friend zone? He may not want to have heard Tim’s conversation. Rick is on a mission though he gave half-hearted try to be civil with “Gary.”

Once they reveal what exactly happened in the wilderness and how the survivors resumed their lives, the show is over. They could really do that in two seasons if they wanted to. But they're vamping with side plots and filler episodes to keep the show going for at least 5 seasons. I think these show runners are the first time they created and ran a show. They want to make money, keep the show on the air as long as possible. Showtime needs multiple seasons to keep people interested in subscribing. They caught lightning in a bottle with season 1. But they don't have a good plan other than to produce enough seasons and episode to make some money. So they're just delaying the revelation of what happened, after which most if not all people would stop watching and go on to something else. But here's the problem, some of us have already stopped watching and gone on to other shows. There are A LOT of shows out there and more coming out all the time. If they are unnaturally slow-rolling the story-telling, people are going to tune out.

Well the story this season is that Craig is busy with his businesses and is all about domestic life with Paige. So instead of going out drinking with Austen and Shep he only wants to be in his backyard, skimming that pool. How is he gaining weight if he's living a more healthy, purposeful life? Maybe because this narrative was as fake as his relationship, as many of the relationships are on this show?
-
Producers probably let Shep know that he needs to create some drama, probably encouraged her to make contact with Sienna. It wouldn't be the first time this show based a whole season on some social media event, like that video of Austen and Madison arguing when she supposedly caught him with two other women. They played that stupid video over and over again that season.
-
Which "achievement" impressed Shep (and probably Bravo) the most, her degree or her beauty pageant win?
-
He wanted to film it? You mean the producers wanted to film it. She watched earlier seasons and became suspicious? What about him being around twice her age and trawling for her on Raya? Though if she put herself on Raya, it’s not like she was looking for men around her age. If she was as professionally and academically as accomplished as she’s suppose to be, why is she on Raya, which sounds like it’s for women looking for wealthy and famous men.
-
In the media thread, someone posted the truth. Whitney and Shep contacted Sienna, not her contacting them, as they claimed on the show. Basically they scouted her to pursue this fake heartbreak story line. Probably Bravo told them that they have to come up with some interesting stories or else they wouldn't shoot another season. So they pursued her to make her a fake love interest. But why? What's in it for Shep? Does he really need this show? Maybe after 9-10 seasons, it's significant money to him, even though he's financially independent from his family wealth. Craig really needs the show to continue since his side businesses all derive from his exposure on the show. So he's been harvesting his fake relationship too. At least they're about to end that charade as well. https://tenor.com/vNvz.gif

Yeah she seems suspect. Even if they contacted her, not her contacting them, she agreed to come on the show and pretend to be dating Shep. A bachelor's degree, in some Caribbean school, means nothing. If she gets a medical degree, even at a Caribbean school, then its something. Otherwise, puffing up her resume.

They say his text was heartfelt. But if Sienna meant everything to him, why would he put it out on the show? He may have been on the show for 10 seasons but would he or any of these cast members put their most deeply felt feelings on public display? Remember that the camera changes the behavior of the people it records. Shep was laughing every other sentence as he read his text to Austen and then Craig. He was laughing too after the scuba diving. If he’s as crushed as they try to portray him, would he put himself on camera or go away and tell them he doesn’t want to be filmed? All or most of the scenes he’s shot for the show over the years haven’t been dramatic. He’s never pretended to love any of the women they’ve shown him with, much less be in love. So why after all this time is he suppose to be so head over heels? He’s never shown himself to be vulnerable or emotionally open. He’s not some naive, inexperienced boy. And this is a damn realty show, which is known for false narratives. It’s such an abrupt change from his persona of the previous 9 seasons that it’s just not credible that he’s swooning like a school boy. Plus she’s not even all that, doesn’t come close to the most attractive women who’ve been on the show and her evasive, cold personality also doesn’t merit him making such a big deal about her. Seems like they want to sell heartbreak this season. Craig will have his own country song drama later this season as well. Bravo may think the show needed their main bros to be way up in their feels because the show became stale? Taylor saying Shep should date someone his own age is ridiculous since she’s only about 5-6 years older than Sienna and Shep is also way older than her. Show doesn’t want to have women as old as Shep and Whitney on as love interests for these showmances.

Milchick is a true believer, practicing clipping dozens or hundreds of papers together and then looking at himself in the mirror to not use big words. He thinks Ms. Hwang threw him under the boss so now she’s on notice. Mark confesses to Helly expecting her to want to have sex? Seems like he might prefer the sex he had with Helena. Meanwhile Gretchen kisses Dylan, lies to Outie Dylan about seeing Innie Dylan again. Innies seem to be having more fun. They’re never going to settle for waffle parties or pineapple bobbing again. Outies or their significant others have suspicions though. Fields think Burt and Irv may have had sex. What do they imagine is going on inside Lumon? Imaginations seem to be running wild. Outie Dylan will probably find out about Gretchen and his Innie. Then you have Helena pretending to run into Mark. Yeah she’s ridiculously rich so she’s going to be hanging out at the same dive Chinese place Mark happens to go to? He should be paranoid that he’s under surveillance which is probably why he wanted to have brain surgery right then and there. That is crazy, what qualifications does that woman have that he’d let her cut into his brain? He saw Petey die. No matter how much he misses his wife, submitting to brain surgery — twice — seems unlikely. When he had sex with Helena and Helly, his brain was flashing images of Gemma so he may be desperate to finish reintegration. But it may also kill him or scramble his brain.
-
No surprise that they want to make one of the leads happy by casting his wife. Maybe Dax will now get a part. Maybe Leighton will portray a romantic rival for Adam Brodys character's affections.
-
Anyone watch yet? it’s being panned brutally despite the very good cast.
-
Shep is 45 and has shown no interest in getting married, at least what they have portrayed on the TV show. I don't think he proposed to Taylor and she may have been the only woman he's lived with? And that would only be because of covid, since they showed that season where the cast were suppose to be home-bound? They're trying to make viewers believe that he's really fallen for Sienna and has told her he loved her and would probably propose, except that she's regularly ghosting him and only having this "relationship" with Shep because he's wealthy, famous and on this show. She either was looking to get on the show or at least find a wealthy guy, because she pursued Whitney first on the dating app Raya and then Shep.

There’s no penalty for doing badly on the Dailies, not enough incentive to try to win though those teams without Stars should be trying to line up chances to win Stars. So these poorly performing teams rely only on social game. OTOH, the design of this Daily, swing partners to grab rings, favored some teams more than others. But Katie and Veronica had no chance whatsoever. Fessy and Amber think they can keep winning Dailies and then wait until an all female team is voted in and they can go into elimination against them. But will they keep winning Dailies? All male teams have physical advantage but we haven’t seen puzzles to level the playing field. Looks like next episode there may be an eating or consuming of gross foods or liquids. Aneesa and Ashley had no chance. Neither do Veronica and Katey. Well other teams may keep them around until convenient. But understandable that Ashley was frustrated. She probably hoped to be paired with a fit male. Or maybe she hadn’t been invited back in awhile so she was willing to chance coming all the way to Vietnam for a season which would work out for her.

For the Ratliffs, why not rent another room in addition to the family suite? Seems like a 22 year old man would want more privacy. So the situation of rooming him together with the younger brother seems like a plot device to set up some shenanigans. Or maybe the reason to put them in the same room is to have that messed up convo where Saxon expounded on his life philosophy and talked frankly about porn habits while Lochy seemed curious to watch him masturbate in the bathroom. Maybe nothing more will come of it. But it was weird, him objecting to Lochy and Piper room together because they both had fully developed genitals. Strange way to put it. He could have said Piper might want privacy.

California to Valencia, Spain. Family of 5 who had been living in an RV. The kids were 22, 18 and 13! Living in an RV with their parents! They moved around for the father's job. Now he's unemployed and they decide to get digital nomad visa because she's making money doing cooking videos online? OK clearly they are moving to save costs, though the parents said they had visited once before. But they expect a 4 bedroom apartment in the best neighborhood of Ruzafa for $1700. Yeah it's definitely about costs and those digital nomad visas may not be renewed after a year, 2 years, etc Apparently the 22 year old son doesn't plan to move out, like go to college. The 18-year old daughter will be going to culinary school, so maybe she will do cooking videos too, to earn a living I don't recall an HHI episode where a college-age kid moves with the family. Often they stay behind or happen to be going to college already nearby. House 1 was a Spanish place with 3 bedrooms 1 bath for $1600. Wife liked the kitchen and the Spanish character but they worried about not having the extra bedroom and the husband was insistent on outdoor space, specifically a terrace. House 2 was a 4 bedroom 2 bath apartment with terraces in Ruzafa for $1700. Husband loved the terraces and the wife was meh on the kitchen for her cooking videos. House 3 was out of their preferred area, away from the city center. But it had terrace with nice views though only 3 bedrooms. They eliminated house 1 and chose house 2 for the 4 bedrooms. Wife admits worrying about finances -- couldn't sleep some nights -- admits they don't have money. There's no real talk about giving their children experiences or maybe they travel Europe. The couple appear to be high school sweethearts from Fresno. All well and good and people struggle. But apparently they didn't encourage their kids to focus on academics, try to have better prospects than the parents. They didn't say how long they moved around in an RV following the husband's job. Maybe that job didnt' pay enough for them to have a home as well as a place for him to stay when away from home. But maybe it also disrupted the kids' education? This move seems like short term thinking. She has some income for now and with this visa, they can access some low-priced housing for awhile -

Kind of a fake out, she was willing to spend more for the city center place which he kept saying - hustle and bustle. Then he said no let's go for the lower-priced place. He had found a job, so the budget and the hustle and bustle were FAKE requests. -
March 9 will be 2 years since they released the last episode of season 1.. So about on par with other series which have been delayed because of the strikes.
-
Tsarina did say she's ready for him to be gone. Jason didn't ask her if she could handle all the cooking by herself, though obviously that's implied. He didn't even bother to try to line up a replacement. So again, if they don't replace him, it seems the plan was to always write him off the show a few episodes into the season for clashing with Tsarina
-
Great underwater photography, which they’d show more. Buh bye Antony, don’t let the door … well you know. Maybe they cast him all along to do just a couple of charters like when they had chefs on for just a few episodes and it seemed like they were always going to replace them early, like the taco salad chef. Jason was going to back Tsarina, who didn’t want any more of Antony’s pouting for another charter, which he offered as if he was doing them a favor. Antony said his food isn’t basic like Tsarina’s but he couldn’t prepare the octopus correctly. What about these guests? The one guy talks about how his success drew people who wanted him to coach them. When he gave grace before dinner, he said he was gifted with great looks. Next morning he’s talking about fasting but wants a coffee drink with under 20 calories. What a tool. Poor Harry, might have finally got the girl but may be knocked out just as the season started. Wihan too preoccupied with pivoting to Marina after Brianna seemed to take a liking to Harry. So he asks Marina to go on the diving expedition without first checking with Lara.

So every season, there's been a dead body at 3 different WL resorts. How do they keep people coming, especially for probably thousands a night? Trying to imagine what would happen if a very famous hotel anywhere had someone die on their premises. Or if 3 different facilities of the same global chain had such unfortunate happenstance. I think though it's Mike White's way of constructing season-length plots, to have a mystery, kind of a whodunnit or how someone died, who the victim is, etc. But I'd be watching the show even if someone didn't die.
