I didn't "get it" for most of my teenage years. The only thing I remember is if we went "inside" to eat* I asked to sit next to my date. I was worried about the way I might eat or chew--sitting next to him, he couldn't tell. *We mostly went to car-hop-type drive-ins.

I know it's sarcastic..she's definitely a SOMEBODY. 10 Most Popular Hollywood Actresses in 2023 Jessica Chastain Jennifer Lawrence Elizabeth Olsen Scarlett Johansson Saoirse Ronan Michelle Yeoh Zoe Saldana Emma Stone Sorry...I got caught up in this research: The world's highest-paid actress in 2018 and 2019, she has been featured multiple times on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list. TIME named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2021. Her films have grossed over $14.3 billion worldwide, making Johansson the highest-grossing box office star of all time. She has received various accolades, including a Tony Award and a British Academy Film Award, in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards.

That wife is probably tired of attending company events, having to be pleasant to various assistants who "worked late" with her husband-- who fake-smile "knowingly" when they see the wife. She should have thought of a better excuse.

My bolding. Even without speaking, the look on Sunny's face always broadcasts her true feelings about Alyssa. I'll have to watch closely to see a change. That said...re Andrew Tate: I wonder what the boys in Sunny's car said when they were released. She probably provided a long diatribe on "real men" she truly believes they "took to heart," but it's probably one more time when friends feel sorry for Gabe.

Okay, okay...I know that Sunny is the smartest, prettiest, wealthiest, most talented, kindest, best educated, best Catholic, best dressed co-host on The View ... IN HER MIND! Does she really have to wear a Dolce & Gabbana dress that literally spells out the designers' name on her chest? Is she a paid spokesperson...or a wannabe?

I need to catch up on this forum, so I apologize if this question has been asked. WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH JOY'S MAKE-UP ?? I do have a new television (55") and I'm shocked, ah say, shocked...at how especially awful the eyeliner appears. I love her, but I want the make-up artist called out.

We had Great Danes for 25yrs. In my 20s/30s told myself (and probably others) that if I just keep picking up those puppies as they grow ... and their big bags of dog food, I'd keep up my strength. I must have forgotten for awhile. I completely lost it. Back in the day, the dog food came in 40-pound bags. Today my knees SCREAM if I even walk by a 30# bag.

Especially Jealousunny. It must KILL her to know how much airtime Alyssa gets discussing serious issues on news channels. WHAT will happen as election time gets closer? Maybe NEWS is Alyssa's next professional move...if she doesn't feel welcome on The View.

I liked that Alyssa's husband took that big LUG of a puppy from Joy. Why did they give the OLDEST lady the heaviest dog?

Critter Fixers: Country Vets - General Discussion

She probably came to the same conclusion. Those feathers will grow back and the bird can go back to the previous lifestyle. Well...they grow back s-l-o-w-l-y. -
Seems like info from a decent PR agency.

A pink slip? Sunny can only wish.
-
Does Sunny have some deal with GUCCI?? She seems to wear Gucci dresses often, but only the ugliest prints. Flaunting one's wealth doesn't work if it ain't pretty. I think it's more fun to say, "Thank you?" with just a hint of a question.

"Craigy" seems to be gaining weight s-l-o-w-l-y (alcohol) ... and alcohol will contribute more to the demise of his good looks. I agree about Paige's post-marriage expectations. I don't think Craig considers (understands?) what a financially privileged life she has led--and expects to continue with little concern. She'll begin to consider that more and more. Eventually his BRAVO checks will disappear and he'll be left to his own devices and his law (hahaha) degree. As for "fan favorite," I agree heartily. Perhaps Andy's fans blindly follow suit: his favorites are their favorites. I'll never be an Andy fan: too needy. He has accomplished so much, yet he seems needier than ever. It's not a good look.
-
AND, hopefully they'll go their separate ways. Carl doesn't seem like a strong enough person to deal with a "human" like Lindsey. I grew so tired of Craig YEARS ago; Paige is the only thing interesting about him. Andy is so in love with Craig that he won't let him go...so if one of them has to leave, you'll probably get your wish. Don't we all? For me, their little Greek Chorus was the best thing about the show.

Dr. Pimple Popper - General Discussion

I agree. I don't recall that Dr. Lee "elaborated on having to light candles, and endure a patient’s smell after they left the office." It's possible I missed an episode or two. -
Critter Fixers: Country Vets - General Discussion
Back Atcha replied to LittleIggy's topic in Critter Fixers: Country Vets
My kids (middle-aged men) and I drove two hours on Saturday to a 60th Wedding Anniversary celebration. I've known the husband since I was 17 and the wife since I was 25. My two kids and their four kids consider themselves "almost cousins." One of their kids (G) manages the family's ski area in the high desert...with all kinds of animals and vermin. My boys were talking about one of the snakes they had that over the years grew from 18" to six feet. We expected G to be fascinated; instead he actually shivvered hearing about it. He can't even think about snakes. When they have problems with any at the ski area, he has to have his employees handle them. My kids and I TRY to understand that fear, but we just don't get it. We BELIEVE it, tho'. One of my kids (on the way home) reminded us of a time in 5th grade when he spent the night at a friend's house. He took his RUBBER snake. The mom said she wouldn't be able to sleep if she knew that snake was in her kid's room. They put the snake in the laundry room. Some time later, the mom knocked on the door and apologized--she couldn't even sleep, knowing a RUBBER snake was in the laundry room. My son grabbed the snake, got on his bike, and pedaled a FAST two blocks to drop off the RUBBER snake with me. I'm so lucky to not have that fear (or spiders, bugs, any vermin). Sadly, I married someone who was afraid of everything. I often wonder if that's one of the (few) reasons he liked me. -
Dr. Pimple Popper - General Discussion

I'll be 83 in ten days. I've seen "kids" at class reunions over the years who still have little "graphite stab marks" left on their hands and arms. Two boys...the "stab marks" have lasted at least 50yrs. -
We know she's not. We've seen her in action for seven seasons. Sorry, Lindsay fans. All of the above: it says it all for me.

Andy seems to cherish and protect a lot of these bitchy misfits. WHY? Yes, b2H, you're 100% right!
-
I didn't expect Mona to look so...so...well, normal and safe.

I was "the tall kid" in our extended family, "Look at those long legs!" I was 5'3" when I graduated from high school! and learned my legs were NOT long. My mother was one of five siblings. No female (including her mother) reached five feet and her brothers were 5'6". Of course I was TALL to them! At 21 I was a massive 5'5" and stayed until old age came creeping in. Now I'm 5'3" and just moved the daily dishes used most often to a lower shelf that's reachable without a step stool.

Yeah! How many languages do THEY speak?? And we wonder...well, I guess we don't...why our citizens are disliked when they travel to other countries.

I agree...and STILL in the early 80s Americans weren't accustomed to seeing ANYTHING like that. Unlike today. I probably wouldn't have been able to watch Dr. Pimple Popper then either ... but I am fascinated every week. Ahhh...I agree with that, but I also believe 4yr-olds should know and use the correct terms for their little body parts...and their functions. A body part is a body part is a body part. Starting there (even though uncomfortable for some parents) and evolving as the child gets older should make things so much easier--on the adults. I know it won't happen. My kids are in their 50s and I'm still waiting for their "vocabulary" experiences to be common.

Hmmm? Did I miss something? Was she going to Morocco to get married? She did say that as far as romance, she "prefers a seasoned gentleman," (which doesn't refer to the seasons of the year). By rebuffing the awkward advances of a truly awkward con-man she didn't give me any hint of not knowing what a marriage is.
