  1. And then there's ChaCha; Amy will definitely be the fifth wheel--probably seated at a separate table. Yeah! That was creepy; we're all voyeurs as Matt pretends it's ALL NEWS TO HIM and Zach presents it as a recent light-bulb moment. Manipulator and mini-manipulator.
  2. Like me. Who COULD let go if they had to speak to MATT--wait, be interrogated and chastised by Matt every time they showed up on their own property--not me. Leave her alone; maybe she can let go. I carry "resentment" against Matt and I haven't watched more than ten episodes all these years. He's a manipulator and a gossip who thinks of himself as the smartest and the best--and always right. What will he do when he doesn't have Amy criticize anymore? Walk, walk, walk... and up ZOOMS Matt in his MattMobile. I feel that she's an abused woman and her tormentor is the one who can't let go. He's lurking around every corner. TLC won't think Amy's life with Chris is interesting if she's happy, so some conflict will be necessary. Of course, perhaps CHRIS won't be happy. It's not easy for a neatnik to live with a clutterer. I realize A LOT OF THIS is created drama. I wonder if Amy/Amy's agents asked for the "nicer" scenes where she was able to walk through the house alone and remember the good times. A nice way for her to end the season.
  3. I think the word she used several times was "support," not sympathy. She may not have meant physical support. She seemed to have everyone "hinting" that she just wasn't working hard enough...she needed to get that 30 years of stuff out of that house right now! Right now, so KT and her husband could move in. GEEZ! It was nice to see the clips of the "old" Amy when she had kids at home, seemed to be cooking all the time...involved in all the kids' activities. SMILING and LAUGHING all the time (oh, and she had a j-o-b too). Several years of having to live with a man who's always right, who continually bad-mouthed Amy wore her down. Matt continues to talk "to us" through the camera but doesn't say much except to complain about Everything Amy. It's over. She's gone. LEAVE HER ALONE! Start ragging on Caryn and see how far you get. I hope Chris will be patient and understanding...giving Amy some time to rewind. I'd like to see her smiling all the time ... and I'd like to see her short bob again.
  4. EXACTLY! It might be nice if both boys drag their families to live on Matt's Farm. It won't take long before they're taking the place of Amy. Matt needs to browbeat someone regularly or he's not happy. I don't think Caryn will take any crap. I genuinely don't see this, especially when compared to Audrey who lives on social media. Yeah...me neither.
  5. Thank you. Just as I tell Rachel Maddow to CALM DOWN, I kept telling Yoseph THAT'S ENOUGH. Okay, Yoseph, stop. Oops, you've gone too far. Buh, bye, Yoseph. Too many flight/travel restrictions due to COVID. Same with restaurants, adventures, etc.
  6. I hope Angela's "Mikull" (90-Day Fiance) isn't reading that.
  7. I agree for these reasons: She's not smart enough. She's not savvy* enough. She's not stable enough. She's so self-centered she can't see the forest for the trees. *Even thought she's been around the block more times than any of her suitors...even that "best-suited" one.
  8. It's always foreseeable...and probably covered in contracts, rehearsals, talks with the contestants (over and over if necessary for the slow-learners). Yep, it's always foreseeable and correctable when someone has a bit of self-esteem, self-control, and professionalism. But 45-60 minutes? And then going back for more? Disrespectful. Any "jealousy" ran down the driveway; now the guys are TICKED OFF ... justified. Think of the time (WEEKS?) every one of them wasted for this "opportunity."
  9. For me it was a "Roast" route...and mildly entertaining. Professional Roasts have only one "victim." I don't know how a roast would work any other way. I'd love to know what was cut out. Clare's moments "alone" later with each guy--no focus on him at all...but FORCING a Dale conversation was the schoolyard route--junior high.
  10. I hear these BAD GRAMMAR examples on television (live, scripted, reality), all the time. I'm not convinced anyone in production even realizes it's incorrect. They probably all speak that way themselves. Perhaps they need to hire me, Sister Mary Perfecta.
  11. I did some transcription for insurance companies after various hurricanes/floods, etc. that affected thousands and thousands of people. We were required by contract to put in every uhh...hmmm...ahh..., etc. Monitors took sample recordings/transcripts and let transcribers go who missed more than a few of those. It's whatever is put into the contracts. Court transcripts can probably be challenged if "verbatim" transcripts are required.
  12. And those, Ladies and Germs, were the Last Points for Clare. So was SHE!
  13. I never watch the show live, so I was able to rewind-rewind-rewind. I saw no flinching. I did see him be a bit "assertive" when trying to get her to explain what was going on. He did keep her from stepping out of the pool. Bad form, but not an assault. Do those Tweeters have any idea how much TROUBLE and WORK changing over to a different Bachelorette is for Production? Contracts (nullifying Clare's, starting Tayshia's), attorneys, clothing, schedules, COVID quarantine/testing, coaching. The only way it makes sense is if that was The Plan from the beginning; otherwise logistics are hell.
  14. I think Production (crew and everyone) decided they'd HAD IT with her and show more crapola than they ever intended. The "cutting room floor" stuff ended up burning our eyes. Poor Clare (that's also an order of nuns), she's been so abused and mistreated in her life all by MEN! She'll show 'em. She's a powerful and strong woman. Actually, Poor Clare's a moody, horny opportunist and a manipulator. Buh-Bye!
  15. Interesting. What are your sources for this? From the CDC 2013: Across the 32-year period from 1979 through 2010, the national rate of newborn circumcision declined 10% overall, from 64.5% to 58.3% (Table and Figure 1). During this time, the overall percentage of newborns circumcised during their birth hospitalization was highest in 1981 at 64.9%, and lowest in 2007 at 55.4%. From W.H.O. 2015: There's no question that among the world's wealthy nations, the U.S. stands out when it comes to circumcision. The WHO estimates that the overall male circumcision rate in the states is somewhere between 76 and 92 percent. Most Western European countries, by contrast, have rates less than 20 percent
  16. This seems to be an immaculate MISconception. That Catholic belief has nothing to do with how a baby is created. "The doctrine that God preserved the Virgin Mary from the taint of original sin from the moment she was conceived; it was defined as a dogma of the Roman Catholic Church in 1854."
  17. OR...editing makes it more dramatic. Perhaps when she never hears from him again...can never reach him...and THEN she watches their episodes, she'll understand that he's gone (permanently).
  18. My kids were born in '66 and '66. We had car seats per se. Mine was a little cloth thing with hooks that fit over the back of the seat--the FRONT seat, of course. I drove a little "business coupe" to work. We bought it at a City auction because my father-in-law worked there. It had a front seat, but no back seat...room for supplies, packages, etc. I guess. Like this, but we didn't have the steering wheel . (couldn't make this smaller for some reason.
  19. I have a pain doc and I "see" the nurse practitioner today. It's just a monthly meds evaluation, but "in the office" I have to pee in a cup every month. Guess I have Covid-Absolution.
  20. I give him some credit. I may learn later that he has a cruel streak, but these are not examples: Horrible first apartment (he's ignorant and poor) Slaughtering a sheep Not bonding without a vaginal delivery Playing butt bongos His Ethopian culture is completely different from America's. There are a lot of superstitions and old wives' tales EVEN AMERICANS believe and pass on. If Ariel is upset about the butt bongos, she has to let Bini know.
  21. That happened to one of my boys. Did no one GET the jokes...or just no one LIKED the jokes?
  22. Ahhhh...so that's why he and Jess made such a great couple: both DEEP.
  23. My doctors (AZ) are still treating patients via telemedicine; no change in the foreseeable future here.
  24. Additionally, Armando may have been the only "parent," back home, but we saw a "village" of female relatives (grandmother, aunts, cousins, friends) who loved Armando, loved Hannah, and made sure she was a loved, loveable, and educated little girl. I fear that the cozy "family" of Kenny and Armando is not going to equal the love, security, culture, and FUN she had. (Hannah is six years old and goes to school.)
  25. I agree. Having had a c section myself, being unable to walk for a few days, let the girl take a cab home. I was SO LUCKY. I had an emergency C-Section in 1968. Got to stay in the hospital SIX DAYS! The baby was born around midnight, and I was on a pay phone in the hall (pay phone!) the next day. A guy walked past me, down the hall, peered into my room, then came out and yelled, "Where is Mrs. _____?" I said, "I'm here." He said, "Are you an Amazon? What are you doing out of bed?" I said, "There's no phone in my room." Oh...the good old days: no phone, but six days of rest and help with the baby.
