  1. I think Dorinda "settled" when it comes to John. He's the antithesis of Richard. Richard was educated, important, had a career that took them all over the world and introduced her to important world movers and shakers. John is a dry cleaner...not physically attractive and intellectually not her equal. He's a date...that's all. She doesn't want to live with him and likes him as date night thing...no strings attached. I guess it works for her...she has her own apartment and country home that she can escape to and when she wants his company she calls him and gets whatever it is she needs from him...I don't want to imagine anymore.
  2. Agree! And she has chased a lot of it since the divorce...good grief. A new "date" every night. And these old men that she fawns over make me depressed. She is trying to compete with younger single women and it doesn't look pretty. Unfortunately for her, time is not on her side and all these "dates" aren't going anywhere except one night stands. That whole Hamptons scene with the parties and fake friends looks boring as hell.
  3. Another great episode...I wish all the episodes were up so I could binge watch. Showing the schism in the movement was a big part of the behind the scenes story. And not just in the national stage...at state and local levels it was just as prevalent. I know the group I joined at a college had members that were local residents and were looking to be a part of our chapter...they had totally different agendas and experiences than most of the other members that were college students...personally, I thought it was a good thing and energized our chapter. I felt badly for Betty Frieden in this episode...she clearly had a lot of personal baggage and pain. She was tough, unpredictable and difficult to deal with but she was the heart and soul of the movement. My mother read her book "The Feminine Mystique" and felt Frieden was describing her own experiences and life. A few years later my mother was divorced and living in Manhattan trying to find her way. Freiden spoke for a lot of women who got married in the late 40's early 50's and had no options or voices...having to share the spotlight with a younger more attractive leader like Steinem must have brought up her own insecurities about her appearance and brash personality. They were a mismatched couple but found their way to work together eventually. All the casting is perfect and Margo Martindale as Bella Abzug is amazing. 😡
  4. They don't call him Dr. Shill for nothing! I no longer watch or record his shows either. The last couple of years b ut particularly this year, he has been phoning it in...sourcing everything out to either Coach Mike or the PNP Center. He needs to retire and go back to Texas...or work full time for Robin's skincare line.
  5. Please don't make me imagine Matt and Caryn's "sex life"!!!! Yikes!!!! I thought it was hilarious that only a handful of people came to Matt's fantabulous "auction". He should have just had a yard sale...and OMG...the crap that he was trying auction off was just junk...gutters? Old and rusty stuff that should just be hauled off by 1-800-Call Junk. He had to pay this auctioneer no less...Matt think he's such a great businessman...soooo savvy and smart...NOT! I thought Chris's proposal was sweet and heartfelt. Amy was so happy and I saw a side of her that was endearing and genuine. Chris brings out the best in her for sure. I wish them happiness and a good life.
  6. Desperate for a storyline on all of these moms, MTV seems to be struggling to develop any kind of storyline that would explain why they are still doing this show. Another trip for Cate? Really? Sure her mother seems to be sober now but she still has some sort of distorted view of her past behavior...I nearly spit my ginger tea out when she claimed that after she would berate and verbally abuse Cate when she was a teen she would ALWAYS follow up with a hug and some kind of reassuring words to her. Say what??? Tyler seemed harsh with Nova...sends her to another room to eat her dinner and makes her cry? Jesus...she was watching something innocent and not being bratty...Tyler is a jerk....he should get that tattooed on his arm. Cory and his curls...he's just a fame whore who refuses to use birth control. He is so proud of his ability to impregnate a woman. Ugh...I had to laugh when Taylor said that doing reality TV "and stuff" is what they do to make money...ha ha. Good game plan for their future and their love child. I give Cory less than two years with Taylor. Living with the baby mama and juggling that with his Ryder responsibilities will prove to be too demanding after awhile for a player like him. Andrew must be in a world of anxiety now that he has to stay in Indiana and have to put up with the constant attacks from Gary, Amber and probably all of her family. Gary and Christina need to STFU...it is not up to Gary to be her caretaker and do drop in visits. Amber needs to get off her ass and drive over to his house and spend some time with her daughter. Why they are not being neutral in this issue is perplexing...Gary was physically attacked by Amber and it was filmed and aired on the show...and used in court! But Andrew's audio tapes are off limits and should never have been released? Gary is a hypocrite. Maci and Taylor...this is just stupid. What is she talking about? I'm sure there was a Planned Parenthood around where she lives when she was a teen. She choose not to go on BC. Is Taylor working anymore or is he just doing what ever Maci is doing and following her around to fundraising events? His stance on not having a vasectomy because he still wants more biological kids was astounding...Maci clearly doesn't want to be pregnant again and last season they talked about adopting so what the hell is going on here? I feel sorry for Ryan's children...he is just useless and woefully inadequate in every way. Mackenzie and Josh depress me. The vow renewal seems staged and very much a MTV produced event. Why would she go out and spend money on another wedding gown for a vow renewal? Sigh...
