I tuned in last night and immediately thought, oh here we go again with the cancelled cocktail party. That shouldn't be an option. Jaime should have been kicked to the curb, and I'm so glad there were others there saying they didn't want to spend time worrying about getting caught up in someone else's rumors/motives.

Like this wasn't a set-up by the producers! I turned it off after Ivan said his good-byes.

Donovan's run last night just made me smile. Good for him! I felt bad for Joe. That trampoline thing seemed like a tough one to navigate since one has to get the timing just right.

Riley certainly caught my attention. I didn't see the season of The Bachelorette that he was on, so he was very new to me.

I used to be an avid watcher of So You Think You Can Dance. Then one summer they decided to have kids participate. They lost me immediately with that decision. Although I think the kids version ended up being one season, I never tuned in to that show after that. I feel the same way about American Ninja Warrior. I found myself checking out more than in this past season. Plus the human interest stories are mostly a distraction and another reason why I've been tuning out.

That whole episode (including ATFR) was painful to watch. Part of the blame is also having Tayshia and Kaitlyn as co-hosts. They're not very good.

I'm not buying this.

I have seen numerous posts about gaslighting, but after watching that episode, I found Greg to be passive-aggressive. I watch Shandy on YouTube, and liked the perspective she and her husband offered. I feel at the end of the day our interpretations are based on our own experiences.

I used to love tuning into ANW, but the increasingly overdone backstories has caused me to watch less and less, especially when competitor's runs aren't shown in their entirety. What's up with that?! Daniel Gil - instant channel changer. Never liked him.

I definitely became aware of the women overusing "my person" last night.

This is actually quite dull. I missed the very beginning, Are there only 15 women there?

This season of The Bachelor is a guilty pleasure for me, and for some reason Matt doesn't bother me. I think the producer's have such a heavy hand in the proceedings that he doesn't know how to behave. Perhaps Matt didn't feel any type of connection with the women who were chosen to be on the show. Sometimes that happens. Chemistry can't be forced. Then you have a bunch of women who claim they feel a connection with him. Go figure. I have never liked Chris Harrison. Smarmy always comes to mind whenever he makes an appearance.

@Chicago Redshirt, to answer your question about refusing a rose. I remember many, many seasons ago, a contestant took herself out of the running during the cocktail party or just prior to the rose ceremony saying she didn't feel a connection (or maybe she was tired of the nonsense). I believe she said this directly to the Bachelor that season. I rewatched Monday's episode last night, as I just needed to see delusional Bitchtoria kicked to the curb again. I always thought a plant understood they were there to stir up trouble, or do the powers that be select a loon hoping for some fireworks (unbeknownst to them)? I didn't mind seeing the beauty queen not getting a rose. Wearing that crown exiting the limo was a big mistake. I realize it was a gimmick, but it read "high maintenance". I think The Bachelor really needs to clean house, as these episodes have become increasingly tiresome and predictable. Some of these group dates have become very questionable. I watch because I need a distraction.

I'm thinking they sign their rights away, especially considering there was a boxing date which could have caused injury.

I needed mindless fluff so I had the television on in the background. My thoughts: Were these women actually screaming in anticipation of meeting Matt?! Grow up! Bra and panty girl: crass and inappropriate Vibrator girl: crass and inappropriate The Queen: girl, go home! You're truly not all that. You know he was told to pick her. When all the women were grouped for the rose ceremony, I swear i was watching the evening gown competition of a beauty pageant. There were way too many contestants. My favorite part is always the rose ceremony where the look of desperation overcomes the women.

I just finished watching last night's episode, and Clare comes off completely unlikeable. There's so much to say, but everyone has already said it. The Bachelor/Bachelorette shows are sometimes guilty pleasures for me, but last night's episode wasn't a fun episode to watch, mainly because of the way Clare behaved.
