Years ago there was a realtor who appeared on a few episodes who carried around her little dog in a tote. I think the dog was named Birkin. I would hope that they get permission to bring a dog into the decoy houses. I love dogs but I wouldn't want to have a strange dog roaming around my home. Perhaps I am traumatized because years ago my friend visited with his Italian Grayhound who went to the back of my home - ignored the tile kitchen floors and hallways - found my master bedroom - ignored the wood and the en suite bathroom and defecated on my area rug. I didn't discover it until that evening and luckily I didn't step on it.

I think master bedrooms on the first floor are a relatively new housing feature. I have never been in an older home that has a master bedroom on the first floor unless some kind of den was modified or there was a small maid's room. Of course the ranch style single story homes have all the bedrooms on the same level There is a kind of hybrid style home which has various levels with short steps but isn't what they call a split level as you enter at the front and the main living/kitchen areas are on that level. If you enter from the garage there is typically the family room at the level with a half flight up to the main level. It seems like master on the first floor would be common in areas like North Carolina where the housing stock is newer just as those homes would be more typically built as open concept. Maybe it has to do with the likelihood that these kinds of homes would be typically bought by more affluent people whose kids are not babies and so proximity to an infant on the same floor isn't necessary and separation of kids and adults is desirable. Or maybe it has to do with the ubiquity of baby monitors. Everyone has a baby monitor now whereas no one having a baby monitor when I was a baby so parents really needed to be able to be close to hear a crying baby in the night.

As I recall someone said he slept there because he had trouble sleeping and the television put him to sleep. As someone who has used the television to put me to sleep on a sofa I can understand this. Typically you would have a television in the bedroom and one in the family room. There was a case on Forensic Files where the wife killed the husband when it was just about to be disclosed that she had failed to pay any kind of taxes including payroll taxes for a significant period of time. And just like this murder, there was some kind of interview with tax authorities scheduled for the next day or very soon so discovery would have been unavoidable. I think in that one - or it could have been another wife killing a husband - the wife also disposed of all of the personal effects almost immediately. If I were on the jury I would have voted to convict. The standard of "beyond a reasonable doubt" doesn't mean that absolutely no other explanation can be *tortured* into argument. The doubt has to be "reasonable" - beyond a "reasonable doubt". With all due respect to other posters, I think all of the theories of some random person - or even a friend with a grudge - choosing to execute a sleeping person on a sofa during the night and not even attempt to steal ANYTHING is not *reasonable" because it flies in the face of human or criminal behavior.

There have actually been a number of episodes where schools and neighborhoods with children have been a storyline. It often comes up when one HH wants a neighborhood with children to play with - or a cul de sac (which is often viewed as very kid friendly) or having neighborhood amenities like a pool where the kids can socialize. With schools it is typically more that they want the kids to remain in their current school district. I think that a lot of what people actually look for isn't generally addressed because it isn't as quirky because it is a given. Almost any parent with kids takes schools into consideration when considering where to buy - good schools are very often a significant factor in terms of the FMV of a home. Even in places like NYC with large school districts particular small neighborhoods where the neighborhood public elementary school is particularly good will have a higher FMV.

Actually they would come from the roof but it is unlikely that such a high building has fire escapes because generally the construction for high rise buildings is different and they have internal fire stairs.

Not only is he not competent but he would guarantee a win for Dixon as he would split the ticket. That is essentially how Gore lost in 2000 when Ralph Nader running on the Green Party siphoned off enough votes in critical states to ensure Bush's election - and of course a court that was friendly to Bush helped in the end also. It is always better to hold your nose if necessary and vote for the * Party because otherwise all important work in committees and all kinds of stuff like judicial nominations are controlled by the party whose policies you absolutely detest.

Tickets to concerts are a completely different thing because the record company or band wants people with any kind of profile to attend because it has significant promotional benefit. Whereas an actual charity event especially one as desirable as EJ's has no need of comping every Tom, Dick & Harry (no pun intended) because they will have all the media attention they need much like the Met Gala which probably also comps almost no one. I used to work for a record company and there was a huge swath of seats that were purchased by the record company when a band played Los Angeles - and probably New York as well. All the executives were comped and anyone with an agent or manager could get free tickets almost automatically. This was before the age of social media so I imagine the free ticket availability has spread to influencers as well. Rinna could easily have gotten EJ concert ticket freebies for her whole family. -

I realized you didn’t thin Elton extended a personal invitation to these relatively low level people. People like Rinna are such habitual liars and spinners and stretchers of the truth and they think that they are believable with their lies. Some people do accept their lies because they either don’t listen or aren’t very shrewd and others realize they are lying but it serves no purpose to confront the liar so the liar thinks they are successful with the lies. Thst is why people like Rinna and Erika who are such psychopathic liars become unhinged when people like Garcelle and Sutton are smart enough to realize that the explanations don’t make sense AND for whatever reason are willing to confront them rather than just let it pass as one might normally do in a social situation when the lie makes no difference to you -

I assume every "invitation" is from Elton John technically. 🤫😉 I don't think the Hamlins would merit being comped. There are 800 tickets - or more accurately 800 people attended the latest event in March 2022. Given the stature of the people who are involved, almost everyone is more famous or noteworthy than the Hamlins so it is ridiculous to think they would be comped. If all of those people are comped they wouldn't make any money. ETA - There might not be 800 people at the dinner because one can buy cheaper tickets for the "after party" which doesn't include the dinner. So it might be 800 people at the after party but only 400 or less at the dinner. I am not a party planner on such a grand scale but 800 people at a dinner seems like a huge number for any venue since you would need a minimum of 80 tables - that is a large space. Prices seem to have risen significantly as the cheapest table for 10 is not 55,000 pounds or approximately 68,000 US dollars. That means that each seat is $6800 and not the approximately $1100 when a table for ten was about $11,000 Ticket Options After Party Only £3,999 per person Supporter Tickets £5,500 per person (Dinner seating, Supporter listing on printed materials) Patron Tickets £7,000 per person (Preferred dinner seating, Patron listing on printed materials) Benefactor Pair Package £25,000 (Premium dinner seating for two (2) guests, Benefactor listing on printed materials) VIP Hospitality Package £9,999 per person (based on twin sharing and can be customized to suit the clients) (Three nights at The Beverly Hills Hotel, Transfers to and from the airport in a limousine, VIP Dinner tickets with afterparty, Transfers to and from the party) Deluxe VIP Hospitality Package £17,200 per person (2 tickets to attend the party, 3 nights first-class accommodations in LA (based on double occupancy) including breakfast daily, One dinner for two at a celebrity frequented restaurant, Private chauffeured limousine transportation to and from the event, Private sedan transfers for return transportation between the elements covered in this package, Personal Concierge for the duration of stay, Prize Fulfilment: telephone contact, correspondence, securing of liability releases and scheduling of travel dates and destination, professional travel coordination including a dedicated travel specialist, hotel, activities, day by day itinerary and official travel document case including all necessary vouchers for travel and activities.) Table Options Benefactor Package at £55,000 (Dinner seating for ten (10) guests, Benefactor listing on printed materials) Grand Benefactor Package at £70,000 (Premium dinner seating for ten (10) guests, Grand Benefactor listing on printed materials) Associate Sponsor Package at £100,000 (Prime dinner seating for ten (10) guests, Associate Sponsor listing on electronic invitation and printed materials) -

I think the whole EJ thing is really simple and a good use of Occam's razor Some years ago before Sutton was on Real Housewives she was a very rich woman who was doing the typical rich lady things by using her money to further her way in society. Rich ladies buy tables at fashionable charity events because they are philanthropic as well as wanting to mingle with the fashionable. If they were solely philanthropic they would just give money and stay home. In Los Angeles high society is a combination of wealth and "fame" in the entertainment world. Rinna and Harry are not A level celebrities so let's call them B level celebrities. Or more accurately Harry is a B level celebrity and Rinna is a D level celebrity. Sutton bought the table and needed to fill the seats as strategically as possible. B level celebrities would be a "catch" for her so she offered free seats to the Hamlins. They were happy to take her up on her offer of free seats since they would not be willing to pay for them and they also might not merit being able to snag a ticket on their own. Their cheapness is underscored by Rinna's various explanations because she never stated that she was willing to pay for the tickets or actually make a donation. She is deluded if she thinks that an interview with imdb is enough to merit free seats at this kind of event. It is like the LA version of the Met Gala. -

The purchase is tax deductible except for the relatively small amount that is deemed by the IRS to cover the purchase of the meal. I am not shocked by the amount because the EJ ball is one of the major Oscar events and and tickets are snapped up because people would pay even more than that for the ability to mingle with the rich and fabulous. What I am NOT buying is Rinna's claims that she was comped a ticket by Elton John because neither she nor Harry are famous enough to merit being comped a ticket. Maybe Madonna or Paul McCartney would be comped but they would probably donate even more than the cost of the ticket because the purpose of the event is to actually raise money for the foundation. I am delighted with the addition of Diane Jenkins because she appears to be the real thing complete with boy toy fiancee and certified wealth like Sutton although I think she is richer than Sutton and obviously has led a more decadently fabulously interesting life. So bring it on. -
I liked the Chicago woman and her sisters but I agree that her choices were all pretty terrible. And as a single woman security is really critical. Not to be too sexist but I think single women are far better off in a condo and NOT on the ground floor. It is way to vulnerable to have access through ground floor windows and for security you have to keep them locked all the time. Better a smaller apartment in a more secure location.
-
Yeah that made no sense because the woman wasn't stupid. Ask for a lawyer who would have told her that the government was not going to prosecute someone for the small amount of Oxy she could get blackmarket for $200. I doubt whether they could even say she had probable cause to even stop and frisk her. She was seen being dropped off for a mani-ped which explains why she was there often and why wouldn't she go to the bodega. And if she was a waitress - or really anyone - why would she be using the same ATM every week. Most waitresses have cash because of tips and most people don't use the same ATM every week even if they are stupid enough to not use a branch of their bank for no charge.

Years ago a good friend told me that she would NEVER have her baby in a Catholic hospital because if it was a choice between her and the baby, she would opt to save her own life. I was relieved that there wasn't a miracle save for the fetus incubator. I had a few seconds where I thought the sound of the kid's voice would somehow stimulate the mother and she would revive. I actually thought this was might have unintentionally foretold a future in which Roe v Wade is no longer around since there is pressure to eliminate the "health of the mother" exemption and narrowly define it. I also agree that in real life the father would have either have not been presented with the choice since it really wasn't a medically viable one or would have been counseled with a religious counselor who would have provided him with religious and moral justification for abortion in this instance. Am I correct in that "abortion" was never used but only termination. I wonder if this is deliberate like when Lucy back in 1952 wasn't to be "pregnant" because the word wasn't deemed appropriate for network standards.

Supposedly Louie is one of the five co-founders behind Digital Media Solutions (DMS), a Florida-based digital marketing company that uses its proprietary technology to create “a more efficient advertising ecosystem” and help businesses “dominate social media. The website doesn’t mention him at this point but typically founders can be asked to leave but they generally are able to retain their stocks and also negotiate some kind of golden parachute deal like the Uber and Wework pieces of crap. I wonder if digital media is anything like Jen Shah’s digital marketing company. 🤷♀️🤷♀️😂😂

I didn't get the sense that she dumbed down the recipes but only that she could only fit certain stuff into the half hour. She pretty much seem to have invented the cooking show in which the food is prepared at different stages since you can't actually cook anything within 30 minutes. Even Rachael Ray's recipes are essentially unable to be done in 30 minutes although that is her shtick.
-
I doubt she will get the EGOT but an Oscar for best song counts which is feasible but improbable.
-
They would have bought the book which is why book sales were increasing in those cities aired the show. There is a real advantage in watching someone perform something and seeing what it should look like even if one still is following a written recipe.

Yes - the phraseology was completely offensive. I certainly wasn't defending whoever thought using that as "tea" at a children's birthday party OR even as something one would want to have aired on television was appropriate. I was commenting that the actual act is hardly worth pearl clutching - it says more about the writer who is reputedly Marlo for phrasing it in such a vulgar manner - than the person who might have had some kind of sexual activity in a locker room. Who cares what it was as I am not immediately thinking that whoever had some kind of sexual activity in a locker room is a slut of the worst kind. People have sex in all kinds of places and I am sure that Kandi has had some sexual activity in someplace other than her bedroom.
-
Of course they were trying to start shit - it was such an out of left field accusation. I was just wondering why it even qualified as something shocking. Many people have had sex in a place other than the bed in their bedroom. It is not particularly salacious to have had sex in a locker room - absent details that it was some kind of group thing with the team watching. And given Kandi's hosting of that bachelorette party it doesn't even seem to be particularly out of character. Again because having sex in a locker room - absent any other information - seems like something many people might have done or the equivalent.
-
I agree that the "tea game" was producer driven because otherwise how would you guarantee drama at a child's birthday party. Kenya couldn't even find a reason for why she thought up the idea I am not sure why Kandi was even upset about having sex of some kind in a locker room. I mean people have sex in all kinds of places and it's not horrendously embarrassing. It is not as if she was accused of having sex with multiple people while being watched because the whole team was there changing their gear. I am not sure she was truly upset but more felt that it was such a weird thing to have said about her - like totally out of left field. I mean having presumably consensual sex with someone isn't horrible. It was said that she had done it while she was married or in a committed relationship. I don't think she was truly upset like she was when she was accused of planning to drug and rape Porsha. That is accusing someone of intent to commit a felony as well as being a truly heinous thing. And then to find out it was done by Phaedra who was presumably her friend. I have heard that it is the reason why Phaedra will never be on the show because Kandi will not shoot with her
-
A party like that isn't done for the benefit of the 3 year old child and her friends. It is done to put on a show. Even extravagantly wealthy people wouldn't do a party like this for a 3 year old as they would spend the money on kid friendly stuff like a petting zoo; bouncy house; slides, fast food truck of some kind. If adults came it would be in a separate area.

If you don't pay someone an NDA would be worthless since there would never have been any kind of binding contract let alone a binding NDA. Also it seems like the non payment goes back to the very early first season because the assistant said he provided services for the She By Sherree line and the only time there was an "event" was either the first or second season and I doubt Sherree was having any NDA agreements signed at that point. There are too many separate instances of Sherree not paying people for services so that it is probably a pattern with her. While gossip sites and blogs aren't always accurate I tend to believe that a consistent pattern over time is probably accurate even if each episode might not be entirely accurate. I am personally amazed that Chateau Sherree is done and furnished because furnishing a home to that level is very expensive.
-
I just assumed the curriculum position was a nothing type of honorary position with a bunch of "advisors". I would assume there are a limited number of music teachers who specialize in teaching "arts" to the blind and/or deaf so she was added to the group because she is somewhat of a unicorn. But I am cynical that way in terms of "committees"

The uncooked squid seemed to be more egregious than the other mistakes although Sarah's ahi also seemed like a novice mistake. If I recall correctly - as I don't cook octopus but will eat it - the chefs in other seasons have used a pressure cooker and THEN grilled or charred the octopus in order to get the octopus properly cooked and tender. I think Top Chef has decided not to go for all of the "drama" and unpleasant chefs bullying and acting out. I am grateful that the producers decided that watching talented people compete and create fantastic stuff is enough for the audience.
