In my defense my laptop keeps coming unplugged and losing power and two people keep asking me questions and the damned phone keeps ringing

Question: if they meet at Carrie's thing, how did he get there? this is supposed to be Carrie's closest friends... how does she know some guy Nya met once at a hotel bar?

He's the guy Nya met at the bar? If he returns next, is he at the Last Supper? (at first I thought it might have been Franklyn, as Jackie the other podcast guy is there in the promo) How did he become one of Carrie's nearest and dearest? or does he come as Nya's plus 1? It appears they're meeting there. I can hardly recall Carrie and Nya speaking. I know they were at a lunch in s1.

E11: The Last Supper The Entree (finale) airs Thursday Aug. 24th 2023 on MAX at 12 AM PT, 3 AM ET In the teaser for the drama-pumped eleventh and final episode, the cast of “And Just Like That…” prepares for their last supper. Charlotte finds herself amid drama between Anthony and his boyfriend. Carrie is saying goodbye to her New York City apartment that she’s lived in for 30 years as Che and Miranda are still at odds with each other. Also, Carrie doesn’t know if Aidan will even make it to her goodbye dinner. There are also tons of lips locking and romance flowing in the air of Carrie’s dinner party, hints at love blooming for Nya as she spots the mysteriously handsome man she flirted with at a bar previously. “This place meant everything to me,” says Carrie as she toasts to a new chapter. On my TV which is old, (not even a smart TV) when the model walked in it it appeared bubblegum pink. When I saw it in the workroom having come into the program late, it looked very bright pink verging on red.

I agree, Rami's was pretty bad! Only Bishme's was worse. Obviously they factored into their elimination decision that he had several good showings this season... though they don't say that's what they're doing. They say it's about the look each designer showed and to put their very best forth, as anybody could go home at any time. Can't be. They don't seem to want to give Brittany winning look no matter what she does. This is about the 3rd time I thought they'd pick hers. Why did Nina let loose with that expletive whilst seeming registering approval on her face when Brittany's dress came down the runway? I've typed this before, there was another time Nina's look conveyed she was pretty blown away by (or at least very pleased with) Brittany's look and then... nothing. The win goes to someone else. I'm watching again as I missed the first 40 minutes earlier. Korto let Brittany use some unneeded fabric she had, dark green neoprene or something)? That was nice of her. There, I found something nice to say about Korto for her send off. This particular time, she was wronged! I'm still scratching my head over why she has acted so differently returning as an all star? I'll have to go watch her season over again, as I don't remember her being so disagreeable all the damned time.

I liked it too! It's just that I liked Brittany's more. I don't yearn for a pink leather suit or any color really fitted top to bottom look in leather, but it was beautifully made... so that's why I 'd put that above Korto's. I didn't love the red on black fabric of the pant and the jacket's embellishments, but with the pairing of the shapes... there was a very decent idea in there. Has Laurance ever had a plus size model? Seems many of us are of a like mind tonight.

Oh No! I like so much of Bishme's work, but his was by far the worst. WHAaaaattt!!! They're sending Korto home??? Hers not only wasn't the worst in my eyes... it wasn't even 2nd worst! I'm sorry I know we all love Rami especially as he doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body and he's created many a beautiful dress, but I have no idea what Elaine was seeing when she said you did create something elegant and memorable? (After saying it didn't meet the parameters he was given) I would have placed Brittany's look at the top but a case could be made for Laurance's which was beautifully made as her garments usually are, except for those 2 recent fishtail bottom dresses. I never like that tight from the knee down look. Still I think many would want to wear Brittany's look, even moreso if only semi-sheer. IDK why they don't just have Nina and a guest do the judging. I swear Brandon and Elaine wait to see what Nina thinks and then jump on her er' ... coattails! and he's dumb enough to keep saying so! I'd have rated today's looks: Brittany Laurance Korto Prajje Rami Bishme ...but I guess it wasn't about that.

Well I certainly called that about LTW's pregnancy on the previous thread. Unplanned ill timed pregnancies in TV land always get taken away by mother nature, so the expectant mother doesn't have to face difficult choices. LTW no sooner said: "I thought about it, but I can't." Cue the middle of the night gasps when she's coming from bathroom... something's not right. I'm bleeding. 🙄 I wanted to be wrong. When Herbert said Lets go to the hospital, LTW replied yeah ok, but I think it's too late.🙄 And just like that Steve is back to sounding like he did in early s1.😡 I was glad he and Aiden got together though. About time. I can't believe they had Miranda say I don't want to be someone who throws away exes anymore (having mentioned she's going to Che's show), and when Carrie tries to get who she's forgetting about out of her... she goes all the way back to Skipper!!!

Scenes with Big (Chris Noth) cut from s1 AJLT after allegations were made by women against him. A scene on that bridge in Paris, and possibly a ghostly visit in NYC.

I'll put the video on the media thread to not clog this up, but it appears they not only shot Noth in Paris for a fantasy sequence to go with the scattering of his ashes... but he seems to allude to filming a ghostly visit to Carrie in NYC that was cut as well. Remember the lamp turning on or something that Carrie thought was some sort of sign from Big?

No, because with what she showed I felt that there was reason to eliminate her for making too many costumey overdone looks and failing to show her range... which I know she has. When the challenge was issued, I was hoping she'd do something completely unexpected. Prajje's top was ill fitting so there was reason eliminate him as well. I was sure they'd keep Kara Saun over Prajje, but I was wrong. .

I really wanted to see Carrie meeting the boys. 14, 17 and 20? Two or possibly all 3 would still be living at home with Aiden, at least part of the time. What if they're all like Wyatt, or worse?

YW. No it's not, that I know of? but I looked for a synopsis on Max (and their twitter X accounts) and a couple other websites that had the video and times up, but their descriptions went way into speculation mode (which that kind of thing belongs on the media or speculation threads). So I chose that one which stuck more closely to the facts.

IDK what they'll do, but I'm having trouble picturing LTW in maternity wear! Lets hope the typists don't go the usual route for unexpected, ill timed TV pregnancies... which would of course be for nature to take it's course and remove the need for making difficult choices 🙄 Could she have had a false positive pregnancy test? You are going to die when you see the promo for ep10! [up now] Miranda says something like I don't want to be the person who throws exes away anymore... and she's referring to Che! apologies... I didn't see that a couple of posters commented on the Trey/Charlotte apartment thing as my computer is acting up. I remember how Charlotte sounded saying oh, I paid for that apartment and I didn't hear a bit of mirth in it. As has been pointed out, some of that was probably ire directed toward Carrie when she said you didn't even have to pay for your apartment... but still😮 If a man I spent one year married to gave me an apartment in NYC worth millions of dollars, I would refer to that as an unbelievably generous act. I could never see and never want to see anyone act so entitled. How vulgar.

I remember Kara Saun's Fly Girl Collection from s1 and I wanted to see her do a 180 and blow the judges away with something completely unexpected, because she surely can make things other than costumes. I think I didn't word my post on page 1 clearly, enough. I added to it for clarity. (didn't change or take anything away, though)

Carrie might have had the biggest come up(in this case a wealth transfer from her husband) but Charlotte certainly had the quickest! Wasn't she supposed to have come from wealth to begin with? so she came farther up. How long had she been married to Trey... a year, when she got the apartment worth millions? She famously said "oh, I paid for that apartment!" 🤔😯🤔huh? and Samantha always seemed to be rolling in dough, as well. Even her young actor boyfriend Saint Smith Jarrod bought her a $50,000.00 diamond ring just because when he became a big movie star. Samantha who accidentally found herself with a real blessing: a totally devoted beyond handsome man who only had eyes for her and stuck with her through her cancer illness and sexless periods (due to decreased hormones) and wanted nothing more than to be with her and only her... just broke it off with him at 49 to concentrate on her relationship with herself. Yeah, I KNOW. Not everyone is the marrying kind... but come on!!! No wonder so many people move to NYC.. lol Can you imagine the odds of just one of these four people experiencing such good fortune? Oh, and someone familiar with the NYC bar scene stated if Scout remained open for 20some years and through the pandemic and all, it and Steve would be well known and uber successful. So there you have it; everyone who moves to NYC becomes rich and successful beyond their wildest dreams [Yes, I know Steve came from Queens.] Miranda, an attorney who could afford to buy her own apartment and to have full time live in help (Magda) must have been the poorest of the bunch! 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄

Well...well. The things you learn along the way. I never knew women cared what kind of underwear men wore? I never even thought of it, but then my husband doesn't wear the oh so objectionable Jockey's. And all these years I thought people were saying tidy whities.😄 Looking at Charlotte's oil paintings of her dogs for a moment I thought who has oil paintings of their pets? Until I remembered, 🫦🫢 I have an oil painting of my beloved pet who is no longer with me.

When exactly did this show loose the plot? I much preferred the original show with Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors as judges and Tim Gunn as mentor. when they did not entertain all this emotional, political and developmental blather. It's not that I exactly dislike Christian, I don't. His guidance is usually pretty spot on. It's just that in an attempt to exude some gravitas it often just doesn't land. He's in an awkward position though, being so young and having been a contestant and now occupying the mentor role. About the only thing I like better now is the 1.5 hour format, but I want to see more beautiful clothes and accessories, more of the creative process, longer looks at the safe garments and the judges ' critiques for all the designers... not taking up the time with sob stories, back biting and ganging up.

I remember liking Korto during her season. She seemed humble and like she put her head down and worked and I couldn't see her sniping about fellow contestants. She blew me away with the coat or coat dress she made out of car seat belts during the unconventional materials challenge! I liked a lot of her looks in the run up to the finale, but I was a little underwhelmed by her show at fashion week. The clothes were good, but not memorable. Absolutely...on the sob stories! we keep saying it, but this show went from frowning upon them to actively soliciting that BS! Why show, WHY?
