  1. I don't think I've ever seen anybody worse on this show than Sumit's mother. I HATE, HATE, HATE people who use emotional blackmail: "Marry her and I'll kill myself?" Seriously. What an awful, horrible human being. I'm sorry but that's no mother. She'd commit suicide? Really? That bitch is too evil to even think to kill herself. No fucking way lady. Jenny, go back to America and leave that whipped mama's boy alone. Talk about "I Love A Mama's Boy" type shit. Yazan and Brittany need to break up, so Brittany can twerk her heart out in Miami. I think Ari's mother is a very anxious person and she's pushed her anxiety onto Ari. I hope she doesn't push her anxiety onto Avi. That ceremony was a lot but Avi wasn't crying or upset at all, Ari was the one who was upset. Deavan: You wanted a BIG princess wedding, spend all that money and now you leave? Maybe you'll find your hairline in America, you spoiled, spoiled brat. Goodnight! Oh Kenny with the Brokeback Mountain reference.
  2. The commercial I really HATE now, is the NCL (Norwegian Cruise Line) commercial. Look, I know that COVID won't last forever and people will get back to cruising (I know of folks already booking cruises for 2022); but the truth is cruising will be super expensive. No one will want to go on a cruise without having medical personnel onboard and, I'm sorry but NCL doesn't have any such thing. The QM2 has a whole hospital onboard (not kidding), but NCL is NOT that kind of ship, sorry.
  3. I think it's stupid that anybody is jealous of....well anyone. Don't compare your insides with someone else's outsides. If Monique's insides were cool, she would NOT have gone after Candiace. If Gizelle and Candiace and everybody is SOOOOO jealous of Monique, then why was Monique so easily provoked? If Monique has such a perfect life, then why fight? Happy, sane people don't get into physical altercations unless their life is in danger.
  4. I didn't see anything strange about that either. I assumed the mother and the father were divorced or something. Didn't seem like a big mystery to me. I liked the young woman who went to live in Thailand and ended up living in the same building as her BFF.
  5. I disagree. If you decide to risk your family for someone like Candiace you are a fool. Happy people don't attack others, don't act like no class teenagers. And I don't think Monique had any great hustle to "catch" Chris. It was nothing but DUMB LUCK.
  6. And she had annoying vocal fry/upspeak. There's only two of you; you don't need all that freakin' space! Your friends and family will probably want to stay in a hotel anyway.
  7. I think this is the real reason people are on Monique's side. She's married and has children, and to some people being married and having children means they are more valuable than other people. As I have said over and over about Monique....she got lucky, case closed. But why would this woman with a loving husband and beautiful children act like a low class teenager? Why would a woman like Monique resort to violence? On RHONYC Tinsley never resorted to violence and believe me, Dorinda deserved several slaps for what she said to her. I mean if I was married to a man I loved, had beautiful homes and beautiful children, I sure wouldn't let some non entity like Candiace upset me just by saying "GOOD NIGHT."
  8. Love Brooke Smith (Silence of the Lambs!!!!) but I saw this shit coming a mile away. Wasn't shocked at all. Let's see: Truck driver; white, mid thirties probably an incel, lives with mom....nothing strange about that at all. But I knew the trooper was going to be a bad guy because....he came off like a psycho. One more thing, you get stabbed in the neck, you're gonna bleed, maybe not bleed out, but bleed. I wanted someone to taze him in the balls, now THAT would have been entertainment. YES, I couldn't put my finger on where I'd seen him before.
  9. Saw the sneak peek last night. First Thoughts: Brittany, you need to leave. I feel a bit for Ari because I get the feeling she has inherited her mother's anxiety. If she's not careful, she'll give it to Avi and he'll be a bundle of nerves. Bini doesn't get her because he doesn't share her anxiety. Maybe being super anxious is mostly an American thing? I don't know. I liked Deavan's dress, but I got tired of watching her wedding, especially since she already is married and already had a wedding.
  10. I never thought she was pretty either, but she looked a lot better than the rest of the Royals, IMO. Diana was in a lose/lose situation. It didn't help that no woman had married into that family since the Queen Mum and that was decades ago, she had no one to talk to, no one could relate to her. We are not all wired the same. Some people are more anxious/sensitive/fearful/not thinking they had the 'rule book' of life/feeling like a square peg in a round hole, just because that's the way they're wired. So for Diana, going into that family was hell; they didn't understand her, they thought something was wrong with her, that she was a problem. The scene from an earlier episode when Charles and Camilla are telling the joke about the hunter and the bear, to a group of their friends, was an interesting scene because it was obvious, at least to me, that they were completely in sync with each other. I was like, now THOSE two should be married. Camilla fit with Charles and Diana didn't. That's the tragedy.
  11. Thanks for that I remember that sketch and thought, "Yep, that's exactly what 'keeping it real' gets you."
  12. If I went to a Synagogue and wore a big old crucifix with Christ on it; I think that might count as bad fucking taste. I don't think Bini's sisters are harpies at all, but I do think Ari's parents have sticks up their asses and are low key racists, they looked TOO happy when they saw how fair the baby was (probably glad that if they have to raise him in NJ, he can at least pass for....something other than Black.) Didn't they say Ari's mother converted to Judaism?
  13. LOL, but Ray DOES remind me of Uncle Ben. I didn't know anybody's even wearing perfume now. A lot of folks are scent sensitive now so....it's a huge NO for me. I keep getting distracted by Karen's mole.
  14. I get what you're saying, but most of those people end up one of three ways, jail, institution or dead. But Monique isn't one of those people. She has a lot to lose.
  15. Yes. What also bugs me is that to say Candiace provoked Monique...what does that say about Monique? That she's terribly immature and can't control herself? On RHONYC, Dorinda said some awful things to Tinsley and anybody and yet, no one got physical with her.
  16. I had a friend who was like this with her oldest son. Then I realized what her issue was, maybe these "mothers" have the same problem. My friend could not stomach the fact that she wasn't young anymore, that she was middle aged/getting older and it scared her to see her son with a young, pretty woman. She was like, "I used to be a young, pretty woman and all the men used to look at me." And she took all that toxic shit out on the daughter in law. I bet it's not as bad with fathers and daughters, because 50+ men are considered attractive and can attract a woman half their age; harder to do when you're a woman.
  17. Sure but, at least you want it to look somewhat natural. Rapunzel AND platinum blonde, or "scary white" just isn't a good look. Candiace wears the Rapunzel look but at least it tries to look natural. Karen's scream SYNTHETIC.
  18. Yes, but look at the trash Ashley is married to. True, but a wig line? Karen? She walks around with a dead Rapunzel thing on her head!🤢
  19. True, but Thatcher could have at least appeared grateful for the gift. At least she could have taken the damn box.
  20. The guests were degusting. I went to private school in NYC. In order to graduate you had to do one semester of community service. I worked as a candy striper in a hospital Maybe they should make kids do that today.
  21. Very true. I think she was pissed at Charles, after all SHE, the Queen was living a life that she really didn't want. She was all about horses, riding and racing horses; that's what she would have done had her father not been thrust onto the throne. The Queen was telling Charles, "I didn't get what I wanted in life either, so stop your fucking whining and grow up!"
  22. I think that is true, and that might have been why Thatcher did not take the box; she was not happy with the gift. But because she's from a generation where you didn't say how you felt, where feelings were considered a sign of weakness, the only thing she could do was curtsy, leave the room and not take the box. I don't know if the Queen missed the mark since Thatcher never voiced her feelings to the Queen, leaving Balmoral early, aside. Part of me felt that Thatcher was a bitch for not being appreciative (wouldn't they do THAT in her generation?), talk about lack of gratitude. The Queen was her employer, not her husband.
  23. I dislike cynics, but Brittany is on this show for Instagram/YouTube followers.
  24. No, to me they're evil. I'd never want to sit in the same space with any of those people IRL. I worry how they'd treat Avi. I bet they'd try to whitewash him, try to erase his Ethiopian heratage.
