Beedub, thank you for the info on Canadian production. I've always wondered. Still loving Fringe here too (doing about my 10th rewatch now!) About the return of Helena - yeah, the actress rocks! I would also like to see her character developed more (if we're stuck with her) and I like the possibilities of her rescuing Kira since they did bond. Her interactions with Kira are worth watching. I think Paul is walking a thin line. Who does he help? Himself or Sarah? Not an easy choice especially if helping Sarah means a bullet in the head.

Cleo, thanks for the link. That is so true! I've always found it odd that so many shows use a Canadian location as US sub, like Fringe filmed there and it stood in for Boston/New York, as it's supposedly cheaper to film there, but I've been to Canada and everything else is so much more expensive there. From personal experience I know books and cough drops are costly. I'm wondering if we will ever get any more info on Beth. Why did she really shoot something or other Chent and why did she kill herself? Did the Prolethians make a move against her? Happy, I agree with your comments on Paul & the casting. He is bland and not a very good actor as compared to the others. All of the others. I'm glad Vic's gone. Didn't like the character or the actor. Not too happy about the return of Helena either. I was happy when Sarah shot her! Although I can see that there's more story there to tell.

Tara, thank you for your post on the episode. Not enough Chummy! The sister who was reluctant to do the midwifing, I forget her name, when she smiles it lights up her entire face & makes her look beautiful. Very sad about Jenny's boyfriend, but with the I love you last week I didn't think he was long for this world. And I wish I had something of more substance to post!

Thanks for the link, Sarah. I didn't even know that we have recaps. Cool. How unlucky is Frank? He's still there. And I wish he wasn't because I LOATHE him. I really enjoyed the relationship between him and Nani (is that it? I'm not sure of her name) - they look like really good friends. The clip they showed, I remember that scene & didn't like her back then, but put it together with how she was with Dustin on this aftershow & I really like how they are together, like a couple of buddies. You don't see that too often between male/females on this show. Speaking of the aftershow, yikes Suzie. She looks a bit haggard. Could be the eye liner though. I kind of miss Suzie in the challenges purely from a competitor standpoint. Those cars were really nice!

Would love to see Mark back. And some of the "older" challengers. I really miss Brad. Not his wife though. Would also like to see Derrick but glad for him that maybe he's outgrown this. I'd also like to see Abram, the one who was with Cara Maria. And Miz, but that's never going to happen.

Are Evan and Kenny definitely off the show forever? As in MTV won't let them back in because of the Tanya thing. I no longer watch Real World either, but I know most of the folks on this challenge. And I can't wait to see Frank leave. He's my choice for most loathsome challenger ever. Great to see Laural again & I like how it seems that she and Cara are still friendly. Did not like Laura for what she said to Big Easy, but she's a great competitor & she really redeemed herself a lot in my eyes when she befriended Cara Maria on their last challenge together. I miss Brad. I wish he'd come back. Without the wife. So is Aneesa the "oldest" competitor on this challenge?

Good one, Maverick, I like that title. :) If I never see Diem again it will be too soon. I'm so glad that there's a Challenge forum here. I haven't watched a Real World since Brooklyn & before that San Diego with Robin & Brad. But I can't give up these challenges. Don't know why. This is really the only "sports" show I watch. hehe. Glad to see Laurel back. I didn't like her either until she teamed up with Cara Maria and told Paula off. One of my favorite challenge moments ever. I also have a perverse fondness for Wes. I do miss Derrick, but glad to see that maybe he has a life now. Can't wait for the new season to start.
