  1. How did we get to page 3 and no one has mentioned the lovely EOE eye candy of Ethan and Yul doing yoga? Anyone have a screen cap?
  2. Thanks for laying out what I couldn't manage to synthesize in a post. My question: Is is possible for a show this bizarre to jump the shark? The bolded part of your comment is what pushed me over the edge. We've endured WEEKS of angst over Zeke's impending death date. It finally gets here, he dies, and then -FLASH!- he's not only alive, all the frostbite damage is gone. I almost deleted the show from my scheduled recordings, but I'm one of those poor suckers that will hang with something to the ugly, bitter end. If it comes back, I may try to stick it out.
  3. LOL!!! My husband was watching this with me for the first time. I told him I'm not even gonna try to explain what's happening in this show because I'm not really sure.
  4. Texas gal, here... I've always heard it referred to as semen. I don't know why they couldn't say that. I want to know WHY the containers were being launched. A sealed container that is heated generally just explodes rather than launching itself like a projectile. An (unexpected) abundance of shrapnel flying around inside the building should have been peril enough for fire fighters but wouldn't have been as spectacular, I guess(?). Yes, Austin, Houston, Dallas are much more progressive than smaller cities or rural areas, but there is still an abundance of regressive types of all ages.
  5. Austin resident here. The city of Austin has no tornado sirens. And we don't have basements because most of Austin sits on limestone covered with a thin layer of soil--too hard to dig into. Wouldn't they have had weather warnings from local news? If they were watching a subscription service or even a cable channel, those warnings would not have come through. You only get their notifications if you are watching the particular channel. I can speak to this because I compulsively watch bad weather warnings and reports, shuffling between channels to see who's reporting live. I don't know why... I guess a better question is why he didn't have any of the dozens of weather apps that will ping your phone when something is going on.
  6. Grace decided they shouldn't worry about paternity. Telling Ben this should be "our time." She still has six months to go. She said if the baby is Danny's, then they would tell him after the baby is born.
  7. Well, I have never in 39 seasons NOT watched a finale and reunion. This has been a crappy season but I've tried to stick it out. But I just can't watch anymore. I honestly don't care. I didn't think seeing Janet voted out would be so disheartening... Mr llongori will want to watch tomorrow. I'll watch with him (maybe).
  8. Yes! Just have them do a running commentary at the bottom of the screen a la MST. LOL
  9. His excuse was particularly appalling because he climbed all over and pawed Noura as he was saying it. I usually watch episodes twice. First as it airs (then I read here to see what I should look for on the rewatch) and a second time on DVR with the hubs. I can't sit through this again. I was physically sick as I watched Elizabeth and Missy screw Janet seven ways to Sunday after the TC when all she did was try to help them--at the cost of her staunchest ally. Janet for the win!
  10. Fin: Sit down, Gilligan. LOL I love Fin!

  12. Well, another season in the books. Thank you to all of you that watched the live feeds and posted here. I'm a major league lurker, but I've been here every day to see the updates and the snark and the OT discussions. I'm moving over to lurk on the Survivor board now. Best of luck to all in the off season. See you all next summer. ❤️
  13. Actually, Aggies are pretty proud of those jokes. Back in the day when I attended A&M, you could buy volumes of Aggie joke books at the bookstore in the student center (and all over town). My personal favorite (because of my years teaching science)... Did you hear about the Aggie who thought diarrhea was hereditary because it runs in your jeans? You can buy books of Aggie jokes online or just google Aggie jokes and you'll find enough to keep you reading for hours.
  14. Why should either be swayed? Both of you stand your ground and vote how you feel is best for your game. No need to tell Jackson how you're gonna vote. Make Jackson break the tie. Shake him up and make him show his hand. Either way, he makes a probable enemy which will only help anyone sitting beside him in F2 if he makes it that far.
  15. Or Nicole against Christie and Tommy spills the beans about his relationship with Christie while in jury house. Or at the round table. <--- That would make for a memorable round table.
  16. No BB for me either. A little help??? Please?
  17. ... and constipation of the brain.
  18. Sorry Nashville. I didn't see that you had posted this before I posted the same. Great (or warped, whatever) minds think alike, I guess.
  19. Worse than Shatner's cover of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds?
  20. We have 'em all over TX. Cliff should know what it was. So should Kat, I suppose.
  21. This is why I love previously/primetimer. I can always count on the community to keep me up on important info. Thank you @pally for the premiere date. ❤️
  22. There's a 3-hour countdown to season 8 on June 1st. The hubs and I enjoy this show and can't wait for the new season. I LOOOOOVE Tom. He seems to be the real deal. I miss the guy who was trying to teach his young son the ropes, I think his name was Kyle.
  23. SWAT reboot starring Shemar Moore has lots of supporting white guys.
  24. At the end of the reunion, Jeff said something about Aurora, and I had a legitimate "Who?" moment. LOL So many comments were made about her invisibility over the course of the season and I thought people were being over dramatic about it. I guess not...
  25. You may indeed be odd, but you're not alone. Where everyone else is seeing arrogant and cocky, I'm seeing someone enjoying the crap out of his time on Survivor. We haven't seen hours of him whining about being hungry or cold or sick or whatever. He just seems to be having fun, something you can't say about many of the cast. Having said that, I really don't care who wins. However, I'd rather watch Devins running around and laughing than Aurora 24/7 with that "I-smell-someone's-dirty-socks" look on her face, whining that no one wants to be in an alliance with me.
