  1. So mad that Ruth (Ms. Dandy) and Bettina (Ethel) (two of my favorite characters and the best actors on the show) were offed at the same time. I LOVED Ethel and she was probably one of the only interesting characters and decent people left. I really didn't quite understand what Ethel was trying to accomplish by murdering Elsa (and did I hear right--she was also planning to kill all the freaks?), but I think this was easily Lange's best performance in a so far lacklustre season for her. The showdown between the two heavyweight thespians was great. Really sad Ethel is gone. Also wasn't really shocked by the reveal that Dandy's parents were second cousins. I think research has shown that even in first cousin marriages there is a very very low risk of complications. After all on average second cousins only share about 6.5% of the same DNA. If second cousin marriages produce psychos, I should be certifiable---one set of my gr gr grandparents were first cousins once removed, a set of gr gr gr grandparents were FIRST cousins, and another set of gr grandparents were second cousins once removed. That's just what happened in the 1700s and 1800s in rural America--people lived in the same place for generations, and married their neighbors, who were very often their kin. American pioneers traveled in family groups to settle new areas, so a high percentage of cosanguine marriages was inevitable. (sorry - genealogy geek here)
  2. Wow, that is like--really awesome! Do you ever get a chance to chat with him about the show? Are you in LA?
  3. In response to the person who asked "who is tending that garden?"-- I thought the same thing. As an avid gardener myself who can't get roses like that even with hours of pampering, there ain't no way a garden would look like that with no one having lived in the house for years. Another question--who is maintaining the house? It looked absolutely spotless. Are they really paying someone to come in and dust, vacuum, and air it out. And if grandpa Gemma has been in a home for years now, why are they paying the electricity on an empty house just sitting there? Which leads me to---where does Gemma get her money? She can't be making that much at Teller Morrow. I don't see how they have any customers when there are bombings and shootings there all the time. Does she get some kind of tribute payment from Jax from the illicit activities? I guess her house was paid for, but someone is paying for those nice vehicles and all those black blouses, leather pants, and belt buckles!
  4. This logic doesn't hold water to me at all. Unser was helping and LIKED Tara--he would not purposely do anything that he thought would lead to her death. As far as he knew, Jax was already picked up by the cops and Tara was in witness protection. And if Unser was so certain to know what Gemma would do with that information, why would he not once in all this time have even suspected Gemma as the killer, especially after she stole his truck and ran from the house in a panic the night of the murder??? True, Unser could be very messy, nosy, and kind of pathetic, but I don't think he was an evil man and I don't think he was even close to being on the level of the club members or Gemma. I fail to see how being nosy and sadly 'in love' with someone he could never have made him deserve to die. And Unser had no plans on running to Gemma's side until he was goaded into by Nero. You could use the same logic to say Nero would 'know what Jax would do' if he found him with Gemma, therefore it's now Nero's fault that Unser is dead. Actually I think Nero is more responsible for Unser's death than Unser is for Tara's. I don't know there was something about Dayton Callie that was oddly endearing to me, so I was really sad to see his character killed so callously. I was also a big fan of Katey and although she was a horrible bitch on the show, she was still an entertaining and fun to watch bitch, so I was pissed to see her killed too.
  5. If that's really what Jax requested, it would ring really hollow to me. True SAMCRO doesn't seem that bad when it comes to racism, but I hardly see Jax caring enough about that to make it his 'dying' wish. When has Jax ever been shown as some equality crusader? And what power does Jax have to demand the club laws to be changed just because he agrees to die?
  6. Sorry if this is boards on boards or whatever TWOP called it, but how in the world did Unser DESERVE to die???? Yes he told Gemma that Tara was making a deal, but that was the truth as he knew it at the time and he had no idea Gemma was going to go out and KILL her because of it!!! And for that, he deserved to get blown away for trying to stop a homicidal maniac from shooting his mother in the back of the head? Seemed like Unser was actually going to do the sensible thing and arrest Gemma. I just don't get that logic at all. Yes Unser was a meddler but he also tried to do some good and wasn't an evil person if you ask me. He was the one that was actually trying to help Tara at one point.
  7. So what was the outcome of the meeting with the other chapters. My head just goes blank during any scenes dealing with inter-club/inter-gang business. I just can't keep up with who is allied with whom, which one double-crossed that one. I have no idea what was going on with that scene with the Irish. But it almost seemed as if they were letting Jax off for killing Jury, but others are saying that Jax basically agreed to make sure SAMCRO votes for his death? Can someone fill me in on exactly what went on during that meeting? I guess if Jax knows he is going to lose the Mayhem vote, it explains why he just left Unser and Gemma's dead bodies laying there. At this point Jax is a certified soulless serial killer who has risked the lives of his beloved 'brothers' time and again for his own selfish revenge fantasies. I think the club would be in 100% better position with Chibs as president.
  8. What a horrible horrible episode. What a disgusting person Jax is. Let's go fuck after I just shot my mother in the head and killed a man for no reason. He is disgusting and I hope Nero finds out. There is nothing worth 'saving' there. And he just leaves the bodies laying there? I guess Nero is the only one that really knows other than the club, and they would never rat out their precious psycho "Jackie Boy". I honestly really don't care what happens now, except I would enjoy seeing Jax die. How he can ever be thought of as a sympathetic character after what he just did, I don't really know.
  9. Am I the only one getting bored? I found myself doing other things and looking at the internet during the show, when I usually give it my undivided attention. I think this whole half season has been paced oddly and just hasn't really worked for me. Also I am really wondering if we are going to have a new 'big bad' (Governor, Gareth, Dawn) that we build up to in the mid or season finale each season? I just feel like everyone is going in circles and it's like we are just killing time until the next 'big death'. I admit the DC idea did give us a new goal to look to, but even that is gone now. At this point the only ones I really care about are Rick, Carol, Daryl, Carl, and Michonne.
  10. I can't believe there isn't more buzz on this show. I think it is really great and this season has thrown a lot of really good surprises without all the Brody-Carrie romance foolishness fouling things up. True there are some annoying things but this episode was fantastic and had me truly wishing the episode would keep going! I want to see what happens next. It didn't look like Carrie and Saul's truck was hit with a missile--but in the final overhead shot, all of the vehicles looked bombed out. What are the jihadists trying to accomplish by taking the embassy?
  11. God I HATE when networks do this!!! That is when I really want to sit back and relax and enjoy the show when I might not have to go to work the next day! I mean is there really that much going on 2 days before Thanksgiving? I could maybe understand if it came on Wednesday or Thursday. HATE HATE HATE!
  12. I like this idea! It would be like Gemma making the same mistake that caused this whole mess all over again! (killing Tara when she wasn't going to rat on the club). And it would protect my sweet Gemma from death--which I desparately don't want to see happen. Still Gemma ratting on the club would be huge for her. Although if you think about it, Tig and Chibs are the only ones left from 'the old days'. This isn't the same club it was at the beginning of the series. Does the club mean as much to her now?
  13. CM Punk makes very intelligent comments and makes a great guest duo with Yvette. He is also really really hot if you ask me.
  14. Am I the only one that somehow wants Gemma to get away with it? I know if Gemma was a 'real' person she would be detestable, but I think Sagal is the best actor on the show and I like her character. I can imagine it shaking out that Unser will finally put the pieces together and confront Gemma. Gemma will talk her way out of it and Unser will try to protect her. I'm not sure how Nero will play into the whole thing. I see Jax dying and Wendy ending up taking the boys leaving Gemma alone and miserable. Did anyone else notice that Bobby was forgotten about literally overnight? Was he even mentioned?
  15. Gee almost unbelievable that a 5 year old would be able to come up with such a plan! Not to mention tolerate the pain of putting those deep scratches in his own arm with a fork in pursuit of that plan! Eh--doesnt ring true for me. Juice almost looked like he is enjoying his new 'romantic' relationship. Charlie Hunnam has a really weird real accent. Almost like a New Yawk accent mixed with a slight English lilt.
  16. I was just coming on here to post the same thing! Khloe and Scott really should be dating. They seem to really get each other's sense of humor and enjoy hanging out.
  17. I really don't agree that the show is terrible now. I still think it is very compelling and I'm always excited to see where they go with the storylines. Yes I agree--the off the meds scenes aren't my favorite either--but I don't think they are THAT bad. This show is a LOT better written and directed than that other show that comes on AMC at the same time (and I like that show and watch it, but it is really starting to test my patience).
  18. Well, really disappointed that 'clothes off' means 'underwear on'..... Dandy is hot to me. Strange observation, but did anyone else notice how hairless his body is? The Dandy family and the bearded lady are my favorite parts. Jessica's part and the twins are a big fail to me. Of course this show is a mess and maybe moreso than last season's debacle, but I'll keep watching for some reason.... Love how they used Longue Vue House for Ruth Fisher and Dandy's house.
  19. Don't see anything on my DVR about tomorrow night. But if you follow the 'sneak peek' link from their FB page there is a 3 min video with a synopsis of the upcoming season. Bill's back surgery looks like a major plotline. http://www.thewrap.com/tlcs-little-couple-to-return-in-december-exclusive/ Will is also 'crying a lot in school' per his teacher and it looks like Will is still favoring Bill heavily. Jen says something like how 'mommy is your friend too'. Will's speech still seems quite delayed, unfortunately.
  20. Yes they tend to have large noggins. Especially the ones that have wide faces, like Joy, Jana, Josh, Jessa, James, etc. I believe the Emotionless Android has mentioned this when discussing her favorite topic of all time---childbirth, She said something like how the big heads make it even harder to deliver and mentioned that as soon as most of them were born, she could identify the "Duggar head". I'm curious--have the Duggars ever discussed their ancestry? I would assume they are mainly English/Scots-Irish (I believe Duggar is Scottish and Ruark is English), from colonial American stock that has been in the South for many generations. I wonder if the Duggars went to Scotland and England for that reason?
  21. Because Michelle could not give 2 SHITS! I bet Michelle hardly even said a word to Cathy the whole time. I really would love to hear what Cathy, Derick's stepfather, and the brother say about these clowns in private.
  22. Well this season really taught me that I don't care for Jill. I can't put my finger on it but she just has this attitude like she is the 'ordained' sister and is better than the rest of them. And I'm sorry, but she really didn't look that good at all. I hope this is the end of her boring talking heads. She isn't very bright and has no skill at putting together complete sentences (ummm, yeah, like...yeah! awesome!) Poor Derrick is so awkward but at least I think he's a decent guy. Too bad he's married into a circus of fame whores. Josh that kiss was so gross. Poor sweet Jana--she is my favorite--I hope she finds true happiness some day.
  23. Oh thanks I totally missed them. I figured Amy would have wormed her way to a camera to comment within 5 minutes of arriving.
  24. Where in the holy fuck is cousin Amy???????? What happened behind the scenes? Don't see aunt Deanna either! Oh God Erin this is a wedding not a baroque piano massacre. Don't see the other Bates either.
