  1. There was a gay bathhouse on one of the Vatican owned apartments irl. Casting - so you going to play a nun. But...
  2. I cannot figure out how Jerry got the game pieces unless there's someone else on the inside.
  3. Oh now you can act? I did like that the real crew likes the captain. I actually hope he can be marginally competent. Him and Billie are my favorite pair.
  4. I don't think if you can't win your division after 162 games then why should you get to keep playing. This all started with SF losing the division to Atlanta by 1 game with 104 wins. Well, beat them that one out of 19 times then. Or just eliminate divisions and take the top 4.
  5. I have lots of plans. Identifying which ones will work is the tricky bit. That's one of the most Doctor lines. I also like Thirteen's 'ew' when she yanked the finger out of her ear. Emphasis on occasionally though. It got to be a little much with Clara for me. I do think this is one of the better features of NuWho, but used correctly. I mean, yeah, the hip-sonic shimmy was a bit much, but the Doctor isn't much one for otherworldly being messing around with earth. UNIT. That would have been a great Doctor quip. Shakira taught it to her one time on an unnamed adventure.
  6. A bye is going to kill those teams. Baseball is very much a day to day momentum sport.
  7. He said disclosing his weight would provide too much information for the police to fit him to a description.
  8. I don't really have a problem with the actor, but I agree Cheryl isn't the strongest at improv. I don't know if it's because playing the straight woman just makes it harder. Or like I've said, she's the least experienced. I don't get why Mickey bothered to invite Larry in the first place.
  9. I was actually surprised Susie took Larry's side on making Cheryl chip in for the plane. Though her 'go back to your hovel!' was a perfect fuck off. The whole screaming about calling the pilot the captain killed me. And I don't think JB was expecting Larry to smoosh his cookies. He's usually good with the comeback but didn't have anything. I mean, Larry was right. The captain did need their weights. I do like how Susie and Jeff just dgaf if Larry barges into their hotel room.
  10. No one can say I don't have John Larroquette's spine.
  11. There was a wobbly table at the restaurant I was at yesterday!
  12. Honestly, you can't beat a steady gig as an actor. There doesn't seem to be any indication that Scott isn't honoring the contract he negotiated. I would keep doing it too.
  13. I was over Steve and Danny sniping in the middle of the first season. Everyone else is way more interesting and I would love a show where Lou is in charge/mentoring Junes and Tani, with regular appearances by Katrina Law. She can handle the physicality as well as AOL so there's not much lost there.
  14. I don't know how long Larry knows JB. He's clearly in that top tier in terms of the improv.
  15. I mean, I'm not old. I was in under grad in the 90s. I heard about this in an npr interview and I love scams and cons. Not only do I have no memory of the scam but I literally have no idea there was a monopoly game. I'm totally blanking on the commercials. That was actually some good solid policework. They got the wiretap went through the phone records, etc. The film crew was a brilliant idea because you get the recording.
  16. I meant the actors. Susie and Larry have known each other for 20 years. They're just naturally going to be way more dialed in to one another in any given scene. Not when they appeared on the show.
  17. I agree, but I think Mexico would be a better fit. You're not getting free agents with families signing in London.
  18. I think that would be too close. The war doctor looked weary and ready to move on. Ruth implied she was forced into whatever job she was doing. Not that it couldn't happen in the ensuing time between him and Nine, but the fit seems off. Two got the regen forced and then presumably banished to earth from some fairly bullying time lords. It's a better thematic fit for her there especially because we've seen her having to deal with a similar type of time lord in this episode. TV wise most fans don't remember that far back so you avoid all the fanboy screeching too. I really don't care either way. I'm interested where it goes. If they did it pre Nine or wouldn't really make a difference to me. I wasn't around much for the classic era, so I'm interested in that lore, and it seemed like TPTBs have been making some parallels with One since the Thirteen regen.
  19. MVP is relative to overall impact though. Larry Brown was able to catch two balls thrown right at him. He didn't play better than Aikman. But those two plays killed the Steelers momentum. That's how it goes. I'm going to check out the xfl because I'm hoping it will be some wild play calling and not the typical plodding to stay 8-8.
  20. You could use hydroponics. You don't need sunlight and it's a lot less water.
  21. General ineptitude. I didn't realize he was in this one too. I'll have to get back to it tomorrow.
