  1. First off, welcome Reghan!! There are many different kinds of abuse, neglect being one of them so I do think Leah is abusive. Fighting with her husband to the point that the girls were so scared they locked themselves in the laundry room is abusive. Saying horrible things about the twins father and step mother is abusive. Physical abuse is only one of many kinds of abuse. I also think it's very unsafe how she jumps from guy to guy so quickly and how the girls are introduced to these men right off the bat. I know Leah loves her girls but she has a lot of work to do before she can provide them with the safe, stable life they deserve.
  2. Her home will be even less stable after the show is cancelled, Jenelle is broke and Barb lets her move in. You know Jenelle isn't thinking about or saving for the future so as soon as the show ends she'll be broke and homeless again. Barbara will let her and her other kid(s) move in and chaos will be the norm.
  3. She's so full of shit. If it was for a reality show why didn't she tell cops that when she was arrested? What reason did she give? That she was too much in shock to tell them? Yeah, OK. She must have been using that lisp and those fake lips to blow the judge in order to get a new trial. The case was pretty open and shut in my opinion with the bitch on tape hiring a hitman so why a new trial? There's something about the husband that rubs me the wrong way. I don't know if its his arrogance or what but I don't like the guy. He didn't deserve to have a hitman on his ass but he doesn't seem like a very good guy to me.
  4. I don't know what it is about him but we've both always liked him. He was in a Lifetime type movie once where he stalked a young girl. Its one of our favorite movies. Sometimes when she comes over I'll pull out my vhs copy of it and we'll watch it.
  5. I hate that. For Christmas this year, my granddaughter wanted a cement mixer truck so I got it for her and my grandson loves his sisters baby dolls so I got him his own doll and a stroller. Both kids have trunks with dress up clothes. My granddaughter wears my grandson's "boy" dress up clothes and my grandson wears hers. Nobody cares if she comes out dressed like a soldier with a fake beard, but people go crazy if he wears her tutu and crowns. My daughter and son in law don't care but she's said they've gotten rude comments about it from friends. Edit: My daughter just texted me. She's the manager of a snooty hotel and they have a Toys for Tots barrel at the hotel. When she left her shift yesterday the barrell was over halfway full. This morning it was empty. Somebody stole the toys that were meant for needy children. The way the barrel us positioned it is right next to the front desk in front of the desk clerk. Nobody could have stolen from the barrell without the employees seeing it, so she thinks it was one of the employees. She's looking at security footage, she's determined to find out who did it. If its an employee, she's going to fire them on the spot. People can be so horrible. How could anyone steal from a needy child?!
  6. I have a rafter of turkeys on my property that come by my house all the time because I feed them. They all run up to me when they see me outside. I felt strangely guilty when they came by on Thanksgiving and the aroma of a baking turkey was in the air.
  7. This Dahlia person is so full of shit. I can't believe she got a new trial.
  8. I don't know if this is a peeve or me just being mad but I just found out that my favorite used book store is closing in January. I've been buying, selling and trading books there since I was a teenager. It's a cool little place that smelled so good. They have every book imaginable and if they don't have it, they'll find it for you. I'm a preferred customer so I got a notice about the closure and an invitation to come to the close out sale an hour before the store opens. There will be about 20 of us who get to go in early. I'm excited about that but I'm going to miss this place so much. I've spent hours at a time browsing that store. I hate that all of these small businesses are closing.
  9. I think he likes snuggling up to her money. Speaking of puppies, she has a Cane Corso. They are huge dogs and need a lot of training and socialization, it doesn't sound like Wendy's dog is getting either one. She needs to be careful and get him trained so he's under her complete control or it could be a tragedy waiting to happen.
  10. I don't know anybody who knows his name. When people see him they say "oh...THAT guy". Like I said, I don't know why my daughter and I like him so much but we always have.
  11. But imagine the life he could have had had he been adopted at birth by a couple who desperately wanted him. I'm happy he has Barb but I can't help but think how much better off he'd have been if a Brandon and Theresa type couple had him.
  12. For some strange reason my daughter and I have always loved the actor Jere Burns (I know you're all thinking "who"), I don't know why we like him so much but we always have. Even though we know his name we always call him "that guy from the show who was in that movie with the camera".
  13. Did her choice of implant size EVER work? They've always looked ridiculous to me.
  14. I hate when she acts like she has no money. She'll say something like a celebrity can afford X but"regular folk like you and I can't".
  15. GhScorpiosrule, my family calls me an old people magnet. No matter where I am, elderly people always talk to me. I once stood outside my pharmacy and spoke to an old lady for half an hour. I learned her life story while my family was in the car waiting for me. She just seemed lonely so I let her talk. I always let them talk. So many of them just seem like they have nobody else to talk to and the few minutes that I listened might make their day a little happier so I listen.
  16. A husband and wife are Xmas shopping and the man disappears. The wife looks for him then calls his cell phone to see where he is.... Wife: Where the hell are you? Husband: Do you remember when we first got married and you loved that diamond necklace? We couldn't afford it and I told you I'd get it for you some day. Do you remember that store? Wife, getting excited: Yes! Oh my god I do remember that. Husband: I'm in the bar next to that store.
  17. I'm sorry, I don't have a link. I didn't even know she was on Ellen until I read the comment above.
  18. I love where i live, I love my secluded, peaceful, quiet hill. There's a small piece of property at the bottom of the hill that's right by the road you take to come up to my house. On that property is a completely remodeled house that's been on the market for over a year. Still hasn't sold. The owners of the property have decided to clear all of the old beautiful trees and build 4 more houses on the property. Which makes sense, you have one house that won't sell so lets build 4 more that won't sell. The noise is driving me crazy. I've lived up here long enough that I'm so used to the peace and quiet. Now we have all of the equipment noise and more traffic. They always block the road leading to my house with their big ass tractors and won't move them when asked. I hate that this city is getting rid of all of the open spaces and building more houses. We don't need more houses and more people here! Not to mention the many birds and other animals who have been displaced by having their homes demolished. The worst part is that when those homeless animals go looking for a new home, people kill them for being so close to their neighborhood. It just makes no sense to me.
  19. Poor Colin. The scene that started my raging Kate Hate was the scene where Colin had gotten gum on his bear, which was described as his favorite comfort item. Seeing that poor little boy crying hysterically while his mother was screaming that she was going to throw his bear in the garbage broke my heart. If she was that bad when the cameras were filming her, I can't imagine how horrible she is when they aren't being filmed. I wrote it in a joking manner but I was serious about her making the kids sign a non disclosure agreement when they come of age. I can totally see her telling them that she'll cut them off financially if they don't sign. I wish Ellen had called Kate out during the interview mittisgirl spoke about above. What nerve that bitch has to say that the kids will have to work if they want cars. The teins have been working since they were 2 and the sextuplets since they were born! When is the last time Kate has worked? The poor kids don't even get to enjoy their summer vacations. I know people will think that going on these trips are great for the kids and they would be if they weren't being filmed. Imagine playing on the beach with your siblings and being told you weren't playing good enough and have to go back and pretend to do it again. And again and again. Or if there's something you've been promised that you can do but you can't do it until the camera guy, the sound guy etc etc are ready. These kids aren't kids, they're laborers who are so their mother can spend all of their money on herself.
  20. Sorry. My smart phone is being dumb.
  21. Oops. Wrong section.
  22. I can't stand when she makes faces at the camera, its obvious that she thinks its just so cute. Same with her mispronunciation of some words. She thinks she's adorable doesn't she?
  23. My favorite part of this episode was hearing that my favorite TV dad was the same in real life as he was on his show. Not to get too maudlin but I grew up with alcoholic abusive parents. I would watch 8 is Enough and pretend that Tom Bradford was my dad. As silly as it sounds, those fantasies got me through some dark times. I cried when he passed. Sorry for being off topic.
  24. What a bunch of vain, shallow witches some of these women are. Wow. I couldn't believe it every time I heard them aghast that Yolanda didn't have any makeup on. So fucking what?! My god, who cares whether or not she decided to slather her face with makeup? If you ask my opinion, the rest of them wear way too much makeup. It felt like I was listening in the Jr High school bathroom where the tweens are making fun of one of the girls because she doesn't wear makeup. These women would think I'm an alien. I very rarely wear makeup. It's just not important to me. As long as a person is happy with what's on their face, why is it anybody else's business? I'm in the minority but I believe Yolanda is really sick. She's never been a favorite of mine but I believe her. It's weird to me that their friend is sick and they're questioning it. I'm glad none of these women are my friends.
  25. Dramatic?! Kazu, get it right dammit. It's DRAMASTIC!
