So sorry to hear about Sonya Eddy. That’s so sad

Drew’s moment of clarity and suspicion last all of 1 episode. He quickly snatched the dumbest person in PC title back from Nikolas today. There’s being semi-clueless for storyline purposes and there’s whatever Drew is. It’s on an entirely different level.

I’ve always thought that Frank and the writers under him never got the Nikolas character. Even with TC, the SLs he got didn’t jive with the character. The mess with Hayden and trying to steal ELQ were WTF moments for me. I don’t think a recast will improve the character by much. The Spencer actor is the new designated lead of the under 40 crowd so they’ll continue to give him family angst SLs and big moments to react to so whoever plays Nikolas will have to continue to screw up.

I don’t think there was a good way to write this story when it ultimately hinges on Drew taking Carly at her word. Phyllis of all people knowing Harmony really raised no flag that Carly was lying? It would have made way more sense for Carly to have never told Drew about Nina in the first place but I doubt this was originally planned when they wrote that.

Doesn’t Drew own Aurora? He doesn’t have his own investigative reporters that he can ask for help? I do like how incompetent they’re making him look but it’s funny that Michael and Willow are using him as their sole means of help instead of an actual PI or a cop. It’s not like Michael doesn’t know an abundance of them. Also, why did they have Drew say he’s teaming up with Carly on this when she isn’t even fake investigating and Drew seems to be doing everything without her? Not like she would be of any valuable help in a real investigation but it’s weird that they bothered to mention that at all. Carly is nosy as hell so she would ask for constant updates on the status regardless and could still attempt to sabotage things either way.

I’m not a fan of MC’s acting at all and not sorry he’s gone but I also don’t blame him for not filming his final scenes. I just remember what they did with WDV and how they not only had Julian slowly dying for weeks but made sure everyone in his life told him how horrible he was while Sonny got to smugly look down on him. I can’t imagine that was fun for the actor or even interesting to play.

It feels like I missed something when it came to Nikolas serving Ava divorce papers and telling her he got Liz pregnant. I thought Liz was planning to fake a miscarriage so why would he tell Ava about this? While it will give MW material, it takes the winds out the sails for the reveal that it’s Esme that is pregnant considering it’ll be the same type of scenes. Joss/Dex are still chemless to me no matter how much times they shove their flashbacks into episodes. He also distractingly looks like a Michael clone. I almost forgot Maxie/Austin were a couple so 2 episodes of hearing about how Maxie’s friends hate him was weird considering I never see him around any of them with the exception of Spinelli. I’d consider the opinion if it was Mac but Sam, Spinelli, Drew, BL, really? We’re pretending they’re all upstanding citizens and can judge someone else? I don’t think they’re a good couple but still confused where they’re going with that.

I doubt it. It is probably just a plot point for Joss to make it obvious that she has feelings for Dex or accidentally slip that she kissed him.

When the vax mandate happened, there were rumors that MC and the Brando actor were last minute holdouts and only got it after their exemption requests (same ones IR and SBu tried to get) were denied. Nikolas was getting set up with exit writing as well with everything regarding Hayden until that was dropped overnight. Now that’s probably just a coincidence because they’re also terrible actors but you never know if that annoyed TPTB.

I do chuckle that even the biggest Carly fans don’t expect her to be a halfway decent human being unless there’s a really, really, really good reason or she stands to benefit from it in some way.

They stole that from GH Twitter. I remember a ton of complaints about their earlier scenes and how he was talking down to her. That Ted Talk comment was definitely from there. It was just weird to include it now because they’re attempting to course correct scenes that happened months ago. They barely share scenes and the ones they had the past 3 months didn’t have the same vibe.

Except he didn’t just meet Carly. He knows she’s a pathological liar. Everyone who’s met her knows she isn’t a honest person. That’s what made him sound like an idiot and why Sonny laughed when he said it.

Ironic because that’s the family Willow actually seems close to and regularly interacts with. Carly has only played up being close to Willow once her feud with Nina started and I don’t buy a connection in their scenes. She used to treat her like Wiley’s nanny. I forgot that Willow keeping the cancer a secret probably also means that people she’s close to aren’t getting tested as possible donors. She’s instead searching for what is technically a long shot in finding a real stove. She truly is dumb as dirt. Maybe Michael but he doesn’t seem overly concerned if he’s jumping on business trips for a company he claims isn’t a priority over family and the rest don’t know they should be. I get that Nina will be a match and save her but this is such a poorly done story. Searching for relatives should be the absolutely last resort. Parental matches only occur like 1% of the time and who was to say the person wouldn’t be ruled ineligible for some reason or refuse because hey, Willow straight up admitted not caring about finding her parents, even after knowing she was kidnapped, and is only looking now because she needs something. For all she knows, she were searching for her for her entire life and she doesn’t give a damn.

LW desperately needs to start playing some layers in this story because Carly is coming off like a freaking sociopath. The lady really had to explain to her why she’s an even more awful person? It feels like they’re doing a repeat of a couple years ago when most of the couples split up. Everyone save maybe 3 of them seem completely miserable, have what should be insurmountable issues, or a big secret about to come out. Because it isn’t for Willow’s benefit. She doesn’t trust Willow not to soften on Nina and needs everyone in her life to fall in line and hate who she hates. She isn’t exactly saving her from pain from allowing her to believe that her birth mother is dead. Let’s see if anyone calls her out on that when the truth comes out though.

I think Carly/Drew is written solely for Carly fans who want her with someone who acts like she walks on water no matter what she does. This is an even more extreme version of the Carly/Jason friendship, where Jason recognized her issues but always brushed them off or saved her no matter what. It’s made Drew such a nonentity. Who would actively root for a loser who says dumb things like Carly is honest to a fault while she’s lying to his face?

Time moves glacially slow in PC. Look at Willow’s 6 month long first trimester. His sentence was 3 months but they also said Victor pulled some strings to get him released early. I think they just want him beholden to Victor

They don’t even pretend with them lol. They’re telling people they’re together and that it’s a “secret” but are still publicly and privately around each other constantly. I expect more cringe moments like Thanksgiving where they make goggly eyes at each other and lament that they can’t make out in front of their family because of evil Ned.

Tbh I think that only lasted because Lucky “died” and they were doing the bad boy story with Emily. Lucky never had any competition in the teen years. The show typically treats their true good guys as the designated loser, or the ones that women find too boring to stay with, at least since I’ve been watching. They only seem to get paired up long term if the show isn’t interested in writing for pairing or the characters.

Joss judging Sonny for not being there when she came over to pick Donna up was ironic considering her jobless mother sent her to do it for her. The kid’s raised by the nanny anyway. Joss is clearly going to keep cheating and stringing Cam along for eternity until he finally wises up and dumps her. I bet she’ll even play victim going by today

They make the attempt with Alexis but she’s barely on the show right now. Her daughters, yeah IA with, but since I don’t care for Sam and Kristina and Molly are glorified guest stars, I don’t mind it. They don’t give off the same vibe the other Cassadines do anyway. Maybe Alexis works better in that regard because we know she grew up on the island and saw all of her interactions with Stefan, Helena, and Nikolas her first few years on the show. I feel like she’s darker and more self destructive than they are.

I’m over the secret in Cody/Dante’s past. It happened when they were teens, the show is full of murderers and Dante is buddy/buddy with his mob boss daddy. His reputation should already be mud if that’s the fear. There’s no way I believe it would be something that he would be reluctant to tell Sam about. One because they’re basically the most boring, stable couple on the show and two, because Sam has plenty of mess in her past.

Is RA unavailable? I didn’t think he was. Just seems like they are doing this because they’ve planned to make Curtis her father from the moment Portia arrived. Regardless, he was being an ass to Jordan and it came off like he was partnering up with Alexis on this out of spite. Though at the same time, Jordan is slow walking this investigation and doesn’t seem to know much of anything from what we’ve been told.

Curtis and Jordan had a bad breakup and he basically accused Jordan of hiding the divorce papers on purpose so why would he invite her to his wedding? Finn has better chemistry with Alexis than Liz. I’m surprised that they didn’t just reunite them. Alexis and Finn’s dad are pretty flat as well whenever we do see them. The Jeff and Heather scenes were interesting but nuHeather looks so much like LW that it distracts me from her scenes.
