Joss is already following Dex’s line that she doesn’t have any real evidence to offer the police so it’s pointless. She doesn’t know that. Hell I’m sure she could at the very least tell that her attacker wasn’t heavily pregnant so that eliminates Esme. Dante is just guessing that it wasn’t Esme because of the pregnancy but Joss could confirm it so they can stop wasting their time with Esme and look for the real killer. And I’m still annoyed that Joss only needed to be saved because the moron ditched her guard. She has some very real responsibility in what happened to Britt but I’m sure she doesn’t give a damn.

The only way Joss’ sudden about face would have worked for me was if it happened last year when Jax was extremely against Carly taking over the mob because of the danger it put Joss in. Jax should have gotten in the crossfire, which caused Joss to finally see that he was right. But they would never have her go against her mom, which makes for a very lame legacy character. Idc about her feuding with Sonny because I’ve never bought that they were close. She supported him because Carly did and changed her opinion the exact moment Carly did.

They’re claiming to be anti-mob now but yeah, it’s all about Nina. I really want someone, anyone, call them out about how they were the best man and maid of honor at a wedding designed to solidify mob control just last year and were gushing over their mob boss mommy and step daddy. Neither gave a single slightly negative comment about Carly running the mob even when they were both said to be in clear danger because of it

From what other actors have said, they don’t tape GH all that much these days with block taping and reduced episode counts. I have a feeling it’s because she’s not pursuing an acting or singing career outside of GH like WL and SM are. They’ve always been diplomatic but I thought it was more about them not have enough time for GH outside of school and their ultimate career goals. SM has been working on other projects and WL posts a lot about his performances and has his band so they’re not solely focused on only college. If Eden is still pursuing an acting career outside of soaps, she hasn’t mentioned it in a long time or booked anything so her schedule is likely more open.

I consider myself neutral on Britt. I like some of her scenes but she’s never been a fave. I thought the montage and OTT exit was way too much and I don’t think she’s a big enough character to warrant all of that. The photo reel didn’t even match the character since she has maybe 3 or 4 people in town she’s close to. Im sure they couldn’t come up with a montage because she doesn’t have the memorable scenes for anyone to care. I could see the reasoning behind it if it was celebrating a supporting character played by a beloved actress who died IRL or was retiring after decades on the show but she debuted in 2012 and was off the show for half that time. It’s bizarre.

You hit the nail on the issue. The story is only soapy if the characters are called out and judged and princess Joss won’t be. Millow cheating should have been soapy but Willow not even being a little torn between the 2 guys and Chase only being allowed to be mad at them for half an episode while they showed no remorse took any soapy element out of it. I have no reason to believe Joss/Dex/Cam will play out any differently. Cam isn’t even onscreen. I also don’t see much chem or any heat between them so I think that’s in the eye of the beholder. EMc is clearly trying to make this work but she’s extremely limited and the guy that plays Dex is a block of wood.

I’ve long said Dante is a hypocrite and should have been drummed out of the PCPD but IA that his sudden crisis of conscious is lame. He’s been aware of what Sonny has done for 12 years and chosen to look the other way. It’s too late to do this type of SL with him. It’s not like it’ll lead to anything anyway. He’ll be back to Sonny worshipping next month and continue to live in a place bought and paid for with mob money. Also, Sam is absolutely the last person to be voice of reason here. She’s never given a damn about criminal behavior when it comes to someone she likes. She only judges and looks down on it if she already hates the person. I remember years of her being Jason’s attack dog screaming at people that he was a good person while deriding every other criminal in PC. She’s even worse than Dante in that regard

Can Joss really think about no one else except Sonny 24/7? What did Sante do to deserve listen to her rant for the millionth time about him? It probably doesn’t help matters that I never saw Sonny and Joss as close when Sonny and Carly were together because they hardly shared any one on one scenes but geez, even Carly doesn’t talk about him as much as Joss does.

I didn’t think it was good then either tbh. It was always a cringe fest and I just ffwed scenes to get to whatever actual story was happening that week

Chase isn’t written to be passionate about singing. He only did it to help BL and because he had free time since he got suspended from the PCPD. Lol the main issue for me is that I don’t think he can sing and we are supposed to think he’s talented. It was one thing when he performed at the Nurses Ball because half of them aren’t singers but they’re trying to sell it like he’s genuinely talented. I’ve never seen Carly do something that’s good for the kids if it goes against what she wants. She passed that onto to Michael and I suspect Joss will turn out the same. She’s never been able to give an inch. It’s pathetic and part of me hates that everyone else around her is the bigger person and will think of what’s best for the children because she always benefits from that.

Having Joss flirt and kiss another guy over and over again without a hint of remorse isn’t cute and I still think both lack charisma. Wasn’t Cam her best friend before they got together? This is so gross. I firmly believe she hasn’t broken up with Cameron or told anyone outside of Carly what’s going on because she cares more about saving face and not getting called out for being a cheater or treating Cameron poorly like she constantly does to others. She’s way too sensitive to be able to take it when others turn it around on her.

I haven’t watched yet but I think she meant the movie Christina Comes Home from Christmas. They stole it from OLTL but it gets mentioned every Christmas

Truthfully I didn’t even remember they were together until they started bringing up the crap with Spinelli and Maxie distrusting him. They were hardly on together and didn’t have any SLs together. It was like they were coming up with new pairings for everyone and those 2 were the leftovers so they got shoved together and dated mostly offscreen. Also, not to be mean, but Roger looked ancient and out of place anytime he was around Maxie and her crew. They probably should have kept him around Ned/Olivia, Valentin and made him pals with someone like Finn. They looked like his peers.

If there was any proof that Monica and Tracy were single handedly responsible for any interest in the Qs for the past decade, these Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations sealed the deal. I never thought the show could make the Qs ffw material but they did it. The holidays and all of their parties this year have been the worst

To be fair, he did spend Thanksgiving with her even though she was upstairs offscreen the entire time and saw her on Christmas last year and spent NYE with her. It’s possible that he’s spending Christmas day with her. I think that’s about normal for holidays when the parents aren’t together. At least they say where Scout is. Do they ever mention Donna being MIA whenever Carly is spending holidays with the Qs? That’s far more egregious

Is it me to does it seem like someone bts is especially desperate to build a following for Joss/Dex? In the span of a few months, they had Joss rescue/save Dex 3 times, had them team up to help Ava and now Joss will be rescued from a car accident. Not to mention all of the flashbacks.

Lol I got distracted by her 4 Christmas trees (may have been more?). I barely had the energy to decorate 1.

Did they start limiting how many kids can tape at one time? It’s a little strange that they keep having Sam and Dante’s kids upstairs during the holidays. It’s the one time you expect to see all of the kids. At least making TikTok videos was more believable for kids Danny and Rocco’s age than the craft project that kept them upstairs at the Q family thanksgiving, which somehow didn’t interest the much younger Leo since he was onscreen.

I’m not usually a fan of her acting but at the same time, she has to be bored out of mind with what she’s gotten the past couple years. She spends the majority of her scenes playing supportive girlfriend or as a glorified extra in group scenes, mostly in the background. It’s a wonder they even keep her on contract when they have so little use for her.

Alexis and the family including Spencer were cute. The rest of the ep was pretty bad though, especially everything at the Q mansion. I wish they said that Monica retired and left town because I’m pretty sure LC left the show. Everyone in that house was annoying and I would have cringed if my 50 year old bf bought me a keychain for Christmas.

I’ve never felt less sorry for soap parents losing their kid than Sonny and Carly with Morgan. Dude was such a waste of space and their whitewash of him was something. He had no ambitions and treated everyone horribly. Morgan was not a good person and they made excuses for him at every turn. It was proof that without the Q name, Michael would have gotten no where in his life because those 2 had zero parenting skills when it comes to guiding their children and they only call them out when their kids are mad at them.

That’s what never jived with me in regards to it all being Willow’s choice whether to find her parents. She wasn’t willingly given up for adoption. She was kidnapped. If the mother wasn’t Nina, this would be seen as unconscionable. Even now, Willow only wants to know because she needs bone marrow. I don’t buy that she suddenly cares about the parent now when she makes comments about wondering what she got from them. It’s too late.
