This show was given an abreviated season and had it's cast hugely cut. Spending what it would cost to film a quick phone conversation that would add nothing to the plot isn't worth it to production. Dor that matter rhey coyld have had the ghost of Russell's secretary there too. But again it did nothing for the plot and the money could be spent better elsewhere. Fans tend to forget that it's a business as well as entertainment.

I've been to dozens of conventions and Shatner would do them if he was out of work but I never saw Mr. Nimoy. And the stories about Sandy Nimoy were legion.

Having a best friend from birth also worked against Jackie. She's insecure and she never had to rely on her own decisions. Roseanne was always there to pick her up and dominate her. I think it was a little like Stockholm syndrome.

The only way Jackie could have had a successful marriage was to move as far from Roseanne as she could get. Roseanne was a huge part of the reason the Fred marriage failed.

What Odessa said about her parents lead me to believe they were currently serving 5 year sentences. Not that they left 5 years ago.
