Well it's nice to have this show back but I am sad to see Mijune still there. Why have such a specific challenge if you want exotic flavours. There are people who have tastes that are perfectly normal that don't conform to what the judges feel are appropriate . To add insult to injury they then keep someone on who badly under cooks something then weeps her way to a pass. Ridiculous.

Not surprising that someone who sports a pornstache would rave about that pedo-Lolita fever dream that Hester sent down the runway. It was a ridiculous design from an insufferable designer. She reeks of entitlement and faux quirkiness. I have a hard time dealing with karlie's statement that she wanted to ask Nadine how she felt. It may be part of the show narrative BUT COME ON. You certainly did't want any answer other than "it was a great opportunity and I have learned so much" and given her obvious state of mind and disdain for the process anything she said was unlikely to make it on air.

I suppose I see Frankie’s as just as basic and uninspired but then add to that it was poorly constructed. YMMV.

He is way too much a caricature and can begone from my screen immediately. Frankie’s was,imo a pity save. Cavanaugh was unpleasant but Frankie has no design sense and isn’t technically proficient. Rather a bitchy contestant than one that is incompetent.

Maybe it is the conspiracy nut in me but seeing what looked like earpieces in at least two of the people in stage reinforced my conviction that these people are simply mouthpieces for the powers that be that are shaping the outcome of this “competition”. Anthony Ryan’s plastic monstrosity was the definition of looking cheap. Michelle’s went further to the garbage realm (who hasn’t seen that stuff tossed in a dumpster...) and in no way provided sensory deprivation. had any of the internationals or those not in favour with the judges sent those things down the runway we would have heard refrains of “kindergarten project” and cheap and lacks innovation. Issac really does seem happy to sell out to keep his profile up and well Georgina certainly has no problem with that as well.

The producers are giving this to Anthony and Michelle. Both were terrible. Biddell should have been on top.

There is not referencing something literally and then there are the flights of fancy that these designers undertook to justify their choices. I want a tall model to look tall because duh, giraffes are tall; angles look like quills on a pudgy little rodent; generic stripes look like the colouring on the plumage of a none too common owl. Ffs for creative people these designers are dense and lazy.

Such a tired premise. Be inspired by an animal but don’t actually require them to meet that challenge. These judges are such pretentious pieces of sh.. . Just let them make what they want, be inspired by who ever floats their boat and go from there. The entire Michelle Dimitry issue is ridiculous. None of these people are truly innovative so similar silhouettes will abound.

The fact that Dmitri was in the top underscores the sad fact that these judges Batshit crazy. It would also help if the guest judges were drawn consistently from a group that has true design/fashion experience. Today they got it half right but too often they just bring on a b list or worse actress/celebrity to drone on in the hopes of upping their viewership. Jasper certainly deserved to go but the bottom looks seem to be drawn more from a producer/programming perspective than a design/fashion one.

The Orville does comedy infused Trek perfectly and dragged this show into this fresher style. That said this episode was a well balanced but just as I feared they couldn’t bring themselves to stay away from the Enterprise. Do we need ANOTHER version of Spock....

Unless Eddie is dumb as a rock he should known he was spending a third of the budget (math is your friend!). So this woe is me, vacuous stare is even more grating. Of course the judges play into this farce by getting the scoop on the situation then prefacing their comments with “.....extra ingredients wouldn’t have helped this.” Wellllllllll maybe that is true and maybe it isn’t but the only sure thing is one of the 7(?) teammates took WAY more than their fair share of the budget ensuring they were comfortable with what they had to work with.

Graham is getting chubby again...shame after all that work he did. Sorry to see they are going antagonistic with this group. Ever since Marcel I am happier when they are collaborative or neutral.

I see it differently. She was a piece of shit just as much as the dad. Both were dealing with their grief over the mother and then she was partially responsible for her brother’s death. I think it is consistent that he keeps her out of his life given what she did.

The coven seems family based and closed to non adherents (ie humans) and so descendants could very well be born with the powers of the coven that are then withdrawn if they choose to not fulfill the promise of fealty. Of course witches and warlocks worship and draw their power from Satan...in the narrative. Much more interesting than nature lovers who commune with the earth. moreover that makes for a rather boring story.

I just don't like the character and find her unsympathetic. Don't really like Jared either for that matter.

Maybe I am heartless but I had no sympathy during the Grace flashbacks. She was looking for a way out and is now guilty. Maybe they can let she and Danny get together and they can remain off screen. Olive’s conviction that her dad and brother were alive makes her supposed bonding with Danny make no sense. They haven’t figured out a way to integrate her into the story more than as an irritant. Either she has a connection with her magical twin or she is a brooding bitch. Pick one and go with it because they aren’t good enough to write complex.

I have said all along he should dump weepy “conflicted” Grace and get with the GORGEOUS Doctor. Glad he is starting to call out Grace for continuing with the replacement behind his back. Michaela is too impetuous when it comes to following the visions and no matter what anyone says you don’t put someone in that position without giving them some of your trust and a truthful explanation.

Oh I agree. I just wish they would move it along. I know that with a five year gap the romantic lives of characters is a go to plot point but if they have to go there could they not explore it in a much more interesting way? The “Waaaaaah I love you both” thing is tedious.

Too bad Ben is staying with Grace rather than developing something with the gorgeous cancer doctor. And as for Grace. Did she spend the time between hearing her family had returned and going to see them scrubbing the house of any trace of a new relationship? However I do like the show as I need something with that level of sci-fi mystery in the rotation now that Timeless and Forever are no longer with us.

I get more and more frustrated when I think about the episode. The deus ex machinations up the whazoo, the build up and then rushed non sensical ending, the already ludicrous coy glances by faux-Higgins. Rick and TC were too involved, Robin Masters was supposed to be more of an enigma and Higgins needs to be more major domo with wisdom and less involved in the action. Right now it is verging on a muddled A-team reboot with the way the gang gets out of these crazy messes.

If you reboot and cling so closely to the original don't mess with Higgins. That character had an integral role that the inevitable romantic entanglement will destroy. I'll give it a couple of eps...just like I did H5O

Jason has no reason to judge this show. I love realize people love the Everyman but there are cases where someone an amateur is so far outclassed by professionals that their opinion is irrelevant. If he can be there, anyone who labels themselves an amateur baker deserves airtime. In fact all this does is to underscore the sad desperation FN has in featuring these development projects.

Nope...just NOPE. Too much convoluted BS. Pick one storyline and stay with it. Both the potential Zapata and Remi storylines are weak and just reflect people grasping for shock value. The upside is they are now justified in shooting Jane at the first sign of her Reminess.
