  1. There wasn't enough hand-waving away in the world to make this episode work. In that scene, we found out that one of Robyn's superpowers is to avoid being sucked out of open planes at 10,000+ feet. But my biggest WTF moment was Miles doing a complete 180 about what Robyn is up to post-CIA. "I'm in!" That's it? I guess the showrunners are aiming for a love triangle, but considering how Miles was so uneasy about Robyn's activities that he was willing to sue for sole custody of Delilah, this turnaround makes no sense. I'll grudgingly finish this season because I've invested so much time into it, but I don't know if I'll be back for season 5.
  2. I literally busted out laughing and rolled my eyes at the same time. Like really?
  3. I can honestly say that I was completely bored with last night's episode, so much so that about 15 minutes in I started doing online crosswords and kept the show on as background. The Equalizer shines when they stick with the "client of the week" format. When they get into that CIA stuff, they lose me. I know it will be revisited at some point since it was implied that Michelle escaped, but hopefully, they'll keep the espionage to a minimum with maybe a couple of future episodes at most. Also too, the Delilah and Aunt Vi being in danger every week twist has the potential to get old really fast.
  4. NBC News sent me a notification on my phone that she was at MetLife. After being subjected to shots of her in the sky box every 30 seconds last week, decided tonight would be a good time to catch up on my DVR watching instead.
  5. I'll miss it too. I'm too cheap to pay for the premium channels like HBO, Showtime, Starz, etc., so I would watch their series when they came out on DVD. And I'm also sad that now when I see a trailer for a movie that looks good, I won't be able to go on the app to add it to my Save List.
  6. I have to say that after watching seasons 1-6 via Netflix DVD (RIP), I was debating on doing the Paramount+ Showtime 7-day trial after the series finale to watch the final season. Based on the recaps and all your comments, I'm not sure it's even worth watching for free. I was already annoyed with all the stunt casting, incessant pop culture references, and nonsensical storylines in season 6, and it sounds like they have doubled down. Sigh.

Super duper late to the Season 6 party, but I have to say this may be the episode that pushes me squarely in the hate watch column. I'm surprised I saw as much of the episode as I did for all the times I rolled my eyes. Granted, I don't know all the ins and outs of awarding an Olympic Games to a city, but I know this ain't it. A 2032 bid storyline would have been much more plausible. Chuck Rhoads, Man of the People...gimme a break. Kate, it's okay to tell him he's full of shit, you know you want to. The only redeeming storyline was the budding bromance between Scooter and Wags. I've invested so much time in this show that I have to see it through, but it's gonna be tough.
  8. For now anyway. Richard and Angela met a tragic end, but his body wasn't found. Which means there's a possibility he could turn up like a bad penny midway through season 4 or something. Please showrunners, don't do it.
  9. The positives of this episode: The Wheatleys will never darken our screens again. Other than that, I got nothin'
  10. I don't know if it was because of the Olympics layoff, but this episode was flat. Twenty minutes in I turned to the Warriors-Trailblazers game and followed the live tweets of the rest of episode. I tried to give Wheatley 2.0 a chance, but this story is running on fumes. Thinking about ducking out of the rest of this arc.
  11. Watching mid-January. Amused that the boys bullying Joseph are named Ben and Callum. Intersoap shoutouts are always fun.
  12. In addition to NBC and Peacock, it's also on the NBC Sports app. They're carrying the OBS coverage with minimal commercials. The app is free, I think you just have to identify your TV provider when you activate the app.
  13. I have to mute that ad whenever it comes on because the whistle freaks out my cat.
  14. Random thoughts... Governor Garcia is an idiot. Jet and Malachi crack me up. I wonder if the whistling of "The Farmer in the Dell" was a low-key tribute to Michael K. Williams. "Keep working on that limp" 😆😆 That last scene made me roll my eyes so hard. It was over the top, even for this show.
  15. Somebody I follow on Twitter came up with a backstory (based on the wheelchair tucked in the hallway) that the woman has dementia and her husband is now a stranger to her, but when the song plays that's the one moment in time between them that she still remembers. Now I can't unsee it that way. Merry Christmas 😭
