I don't even know why I'm posting because I don't know if anyone will even read this. But worth a try. Many, many years ago my friend and I posted fics on Black and White and Read and I just want to reread these so badly. I would pay to see these again. Seriously. I can read some of my own one-part stories from the site through Wayback Machine, but the fics we wrote together were multichapter and (thanks to her talent) on the smuttier side so I get different kinds of error messages in Wayback when I try to read them. I've been trying off and on for years, hoping one day I'll figure out some trick or loophole, but no luck. Does anyone know if it's possible to access these? At one point I had these in emails or somewhere, but it's been a good decade with different computers and different accounts. Thanks for reading.

Agreed. And I wouldn't want people to vote for someone just because she's a woman. I'm just saying I'm ready for strategic, strong women to get to the end. It feels like it's been a while.

I wasn't clear with my point (it was late and I was mad). I didn't mean to say it was sexist or to give Julie more credit for her game than she deserved. My point was the last three seasons have had two guys and one woman in the final 3 and the woman has received no votes so I meant more that I was ready for a break in the pattern. Here's hoping next season has some strategic strong women who make it in the end.

I just saw the preview for next season. THE HELL?

Bullshit. This season was bullshit. All the idols and advantages were bullshit. The winner was bullshit. I have no opinion on Chris because I didn't see him play. He got voted out almost immediately and then did one cool thing by doing the fire challenge (also bullshit). It's Survivor because it happened on Survivor, but it's not Survivor. I feel about as angry as I did with the Ben season except I didn't like Gavin and Julie as much as I liked Devin and Chrissy. I was thrilled when Devens got out at 4 but I'd rather that he won over Chris. At least I had a sense of his game rather than some rando. I'm sorry Julie didn't get one vote. But that's kind of typical when the final 3 is two men and one woman. I saw a commercial for Etsy before the winners were announced and I wondered if that was a sign for Julie. It was not. I will watch Survivor until the day I die or it's canceled (whichever comes first), but this is going into one of the bottom seasons for me. Maybe not the worst (Samoa was my least favorite ever), but it's down there. Also why did we spend 20 minutes mid-final episode talking about Joe's hair? I'm a straight woman and yet I don't care about Joe let alone his hair. That should've been a sign of how terrible things were going to get. It's just a show. I should really just relax. I hope Victoria and Aurora come back. Ugh.

I don't hate Devens as much as I hated Ben, but if he wins, I'll feel the kind of disappointment I did when Ben won. Between EOE and so many idols and advantages ... it seems too much, but at the same time I just felt that so many people on Ben's season played better (particularly Devon and Chrissy and that last minute (to us anyway) twist was ridiculous. I liked Devens until about a few episodes ago and the cockiness is getting unbearable especially when it's at the expense of screen time of the others. There are very few players who are cocky and still fun to watch, but I don't think Devens is one of them. I don't know who I want to come back from EOE. Reem would be fun, I still love Aubry, but part of me hopes it's Aurora. I'm hoping Rick is out at 4 because I'm assuming he's winning if finals (esp if he's with Julie and, say, Lauren). I'm rooting for Victoria of Green Gables. Please never do this again Survivor. And please get rid of the final 4 challenge crap.

I just realized something kind of funny. Wasn't Ron one of the guys harping on THE FAMILY VISIT and how you (meaning everyone else) should be satisfied by making it to THE FAMILY VISIT and not worry about your game after that? Congrats Ron. You made it to THE FAMILY VISIT!

I fear if Devens gets in the finals he's winning. I like him, but he's got the advantage of hanging with most of the jurors on EoE. If he wins against people who haven't been voted out, I'll be annoyed the way I was when Ben won over Chrissy. Well, maybe not quite as much, because Ben bugged me and I loved Chrissy. It's been a while since we've had a woman winner - a final three of Victoria, Lauren and Aurora would be pretty great. I kind of love Aurora. Is the EoE person coming in soon? They won't return too close to the end, right? Is a "Bachelor Handshake" referring to the way Lauren jumped on her dad? That was...affectionate. When Jeff announced the challenge, I immediately yelled, "Reed! Dammit!"

The challenge I miss the most is the "I'm going to say something terrible about one of your tribemates and you guess who I'm talking about and then knock down their whatevers and show them what's what. Ok who am I talking about when I say 'Which tribemate sucks the most?' Write it down and show everyone!" You know what else I'm missing with this season? Ponderosa videos. I'm hoping the Aurora-Rick-Victoria of Green Gables group (pseudo-alliance? alliance-ish?) can pull in Lauren for a number.

I've never seen BB so no comment on any of them yet. The trio of Survivor teams seems fairly random. I get why Rupert because it's Rupert (gag). I hope they're out soon. Chris and Bret weren't that interesting on their season (other than Bret's scene with Zeke, I don't remember anything about them). And I don't remember Eliza being that...bitchy? I mean she always came across as sort of the outsider in both seasons. Kind of abrasive, but also a little plucky. I guess either she was given a good edit, Corinne rubbed off on her or she's playing it up for TAR. Well, I'm just glad we're not seeing Rob and Amber again. I like Becca and Floyd and Leo and Jamal. I like Tyler's laugh. I'm rooting for a TAR team to win I think.

I want to say it was blonde Sierra, aka the future Mrs. Amazing, giving it to Sarah. I'm just straight up completely rooting for Aurora now.

This is going to sound crazy, but sometimes, at certain angles, I think Aurora looks a little bit like Amber. A harder version of her, but something. Crazy I know.

I'm calling it now guys. Aurora wins this whole thing. That would be kind of fitting for this season, right? She's kind of terrible and I'm kind of ok with it. Julie is also kind of terrible. I'm less liking that. Actually everyone's kind of terrible in one way or the other. I don't hate Lauren. Or David I guess. I saw online today that Joey Super Duper Amazing and Sierra Super Duper Whatever got engaged. So that's something because I don't think he's ever winning Survivor.

Now do you believe me there's an Aurora?! Rick was the one who gave Aubry the advantage right? I wonder why she didn't return the favor. I don't mind Rick. Or David. But I'm still rooting for a woman to win. Julia seems pretty cool now that she's allowed to speak on camera. Aurora maybe a little less so. But they've both spoken more this episode than Redhead Chelsea in her whole season so that's something. Progress! The funny thing about this season is I feel like there's no real sense of time passing. You could tell me there are three episodes left. You could tell me there are fifteen. I would probably believe you either way.

See guys, I told you there was an Aurora! I love Aubry (even while admitting her flaws), but Devens was probably my second choice to come back. Actually maybe Wendy was my second choice because that could've been funny. She didn't do too bad at the challenge. I hope Joe doesn't come back. He just doesn't do it for me. If Joe and Sierra have a kid, it may grow up to be the prettiest yet blandest kid ever.

I love when one talks about JT it could either be referring to him writing a love letter to Russell or being an integral part in getting Malcolm (sigh, swoon) voted off. I had no idea it was a two-for-one episode night, but not loving that first vote! Aubry. You're my girl. I really, really wish you had played that idol. But now I'm rooting for you or Rick to get back in I think. I wonder if it's only one player coming back. I'm unspoiled on that and everything. Anne of Green Gables comes alive! And so does Julia! Do we have a read on Aurora yet? I know I shouldn't say this because it should be merit and player-based but I really hope a woman wins this season just because it's been a while. Maybe not Wentworth because I'm not a fan, but any of the others I think.

There were a few seasons where they had a "Tim Gunn Save" where Tim had the power to bring back someone if he thought the elimination was unfair, etc. But since there's no Tim Gunn on the show, no Tim Gunn Save. Unless they do something similar. But other than that, no. Oh once in a while, the show will decide they love a contestant and bring her back multiple seasons even though she's not that great. Not naming names or anything. Kate.

Hester Sunshine reminded me so much of Erin of the Bright Yellow Makeup from a few seasons ago who I was not a fan of. I hope she's doesn't get as far. All-Stars is such a mess this season. This seems better.

I rarely notice this kind of thing, but I remember watching the premiere episode and thinking, "They are showing the blonde a lot." I was rooting for Kelsey, but would've been fine with any of them winning. I didn't vote, but as a fan my weird favorite was Eddie, just because he seemed on the verge of panic any time anyone even looked at him. I get really stressed out about things and if I were ever on a realty show, I would probably be reacting to things in a similar way. I empathized, but also found it weirdly amusing. Sorry Eddie.

"I've always considered myself more of a Michelle." It's funny though because when I watched Aubry's first season I rooted hard for her because in some ways she totally reminded me of myself. So I probably would've responded favorably. I still love her but I don't think she's getting far this season. Although if her team keeps winning I guess it's possible. Did Joe say anything this episode? No loss. He doesn't do it for me and I don't think he's very interesting. I still don't have much of an opinion on the new people yet. Anne of Green Gables is kind of odd so she might be interesting to watch. Some of the guys seem interchangeable at this point.

I didn't think San Juan whatever was that bad a season and Natalie A, with her general badassery and revenge-playing, is one of my favorite winners. I'm new posting here, but I probably have a million more of these.

To me, Joe was a nice guy on a season full of terrible guys so really stood out. But he never really appealed to me either. I find him really bland and watch him and just wish I were watching Malcolm instead. Malcolm, I find very appealing.
