I will say it again and again until I will it to happen: JULIA needs to win HOH and take out Austin. Yes, I realize I'm as nonsensical as Meg right now, but I've already had quite a bit of wine, so....

If this week didn't prove to the remaining (rapidly dwindling) HGs that the Austwins need to be taken care of, there is literally no hope for any of them, save Vanessa (who HAS TO remain loyal to them on the surface because they are the only ones that have/would keep her safe, and just plant seeds and hope that others take them out). Seriously, ALL the Austwins deals (or Deals) were exposed this week, and there's the OBVIOUS FACTOR OF THEM BEING FUCKING TWINS AND A SHOWMANCE, but from what I've been reading, only the returning juror (and I'm dubious about Jackie and Shelli at this point, so basically John or Basic Becky) would ACTUALLY target them. People are saying James is getting a clue but he WILL be influenced by Meg (who, I swear to god has no actual idea there is actually a game being played for $500,000) because he's not thinking with the right head. And Steve... is Steve. He was in real, actual danger this week and had a large alliance exposed that everyone hilariously blamed him for orchestrating, but he WILL throw HOH. Again. And if he accidentally wins he will cry and then nominate Meg/returnee. What in the actual fuck with these morons.

I'm worried about a James HOH if he still thinks he's at summer camp and besties with the Austwins. I don't think he's actually that dumb, but they kept him safe so I think he'd nom any combo of Steve/Vanessa/returning juror (unless it's Jackie). OTOH, if John is the returnee, he's got a shot to beat James and he's like the only one who WOULD put up Austwins, so... go John? ugh. THIS is my ideal scenario now? You know, I'm almost hoping Steve accidentally wins again and then accidentally gets Meg evicted to put her out of my misery.

Me too, which is why I wear headphones at the poker table. I can't stand that shit. I've also noticed when Vanessa plays poker she is incredibly quiet and focused. I think the biggest difference between BB and poker (and there are many) is that in poker you have to make decisions quickly. Yes, you can (and should) be watching your opponents throughout the course of a session or tournament to get a read on their playing style, but when it comes to making moves, you have very little time to use all that information (tells, assessments of others' styles, pot odds etc) to make an informed decision. In the BB house you have a LOT of time, and I can imagine it's easy to default to the mindset that others are lying/hiding something from you. Not only do you have WAY too much time to overthink (and clearly Vanessa, like me, is an overthinker) but in poker if you regularly assume your opponent(s) are bluffing you will bust VERY quickly. There are so many other elements and bluffing is only one of them - and it's a tool good players use sparingly and in the correct spots. To translate poker strategy to BB strategy you'd almost have to be a robot. If you get caught bluffing in poker, no one holds that against you personally (or they'd be crazy to). If you get caught lying in BB it's a whole different story because there are personal relationships involved, and some people play very emotionally. Vanessa included, although I think her excessive emotional displays come more from frustration as she is TRYING to think like a poker player and it's not really working too well in BB. Way too much time to think (comparatively speaking) before coming to final decisions + personal feelings means it would be VERY hard to apply a solid poker strategy to the game of Big Brother. IMO of course.

There is literally no hope for Meg as a player but she's almost guaranteed $50,000 at this point. Yawn.

Liz will dump Austin's ass on finale night (I'll bet $$ that in her post game interviews she will say she's looking forward to being "good friends" with him, and probably that's how he'll first find out she's not interested in more). I think this will happen despite who the winner turns out to be. She just wants to get through this game. Just my take of course, but this scenario seems very likely to me...

She'd probably beat Meg... and it's looking more and more like Meg WILL be in the F2 at this point. A Julia/Meg F2 would probably be the most boring F2 of any combination of HGs left.

I would much rather see John leave than James, but targeting James this week is actually a good move for Vanessa/Austwins. James is far more dangerous as a game player (because he is actually playing the game), and this ensures that James has no chance of teaming back up with Jackie as only one can return (and there's a 50/50 chance neither do, leaving Meg alone and able to be used by anyone). Because John has absolutely no idea how to play Big Brother.

Sounds like Vanessa is finding her game again. Love this. I hate that it involves Austin, but it always has so oh well. I still have this crazy dream where Julia backdoors him, but it appears she's as useless as Meg in comps, so.... Still no zing talk? If I have to have insomnia I want some entertainment to go along with it :(

The source could literally be anyone. I can't imagine there are many people who know them personally, even (or especially) in Gothard circles, who respect them at all anymore or believe their BS. Shows like BB and Survivor are not subject to the same rules as regular game shows. They can rig it all they want and the players sign something acknowledging this. FCC can't get involved at all. Also in terms of leaks, they all (including crew/production) have to sign ironclad NDAs. I don't know how long they last, but leaking shit could ruin careers, trust me I work in this industry. And the casts are (mostly) famewhores that want to be asked back/asked to do TAR or Survivor, etc. Chima sure had a whole lot to say about what went on wrt her exit, so I imagine the NDA had expired and she (rightly) doesn't have any fucks to give about being on any CBS show.

It was chump change to Dr Will and I never see people complaining about his win. Also, I think it would be chump change to the dentist in the house as well, who is nowhere near the player Vanessa is regardless of what people personally think of them as people (and I like her but think she's overrated as a player but she is, you know, PLAYING). But then again, I don't think people's financial situations should ever be a factor or BB, Survivor or any game show for that matter. JMO
