  1. Like nearly every progamme on HGTV they HAVE to have wacky people to distract from the fact that after you've seen five episodes you seen every "design" they have (probably three times).
  2. Never more than one Black person, Jews are always there just to help Christians, LGBTQ don't exist, women can only be fulfilled by moving to a small White town and marrying.
  3. That's more on the editors than the hunter I'd think.
  4. What is wrong about wanting to meet Mr or Ms Right?
  5. But don't people claim a darker colour makes the mud/snow etc even more visible?
  6. Some interesting Laurel history www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/inside-the-murderous-bumbling-ku-klux-klan/2021/08/05/9eff16d0-eb47-11eb-ba5d-55d3b5ffcaf1_story.html
  7. More like MDL isn't interested in having more than one women per programme.
  8. Matt doesn't seem to understand what his job is. Did he sign up thinking he'd have six sous chefs?
  9. I hated the kitchen in the Winter Globe one. It looked like they ran out of cabinets and had to find other ones. Plus the white made it too washed out. I also didn't like that not only was each bathroom the same colour but they continued that exact same colour and trim in the mud room area. That den was calling out for some plaid wallpaper.
  10. Can you imagine being a professional carpet cleaner, spending most of your day monotonously going over beige, white, grey, brown. Then coming to this house? Wowsers. Professional Carpet Cleaners of America must talk about this place at their conferences.
  11. I just saw the one with Frederic trying to find a house for the Ali Forney Center and was sickened. When their "donor" fell through he really couldn't find it in himself to give a few million? He doesn't have contacts that could find $4m in their couch cushions? And the dissonance with KJ's nepotism/$1.5m "starter" home. It just reminds me why I sometimes hate this programme.
  12. I don't mind the look of the building Steve lives in, but like with the Jenga building I wouldn't want to live in it. I'd rather see it in my view.
  13. Phuket hunter reminded me sooooo much of actress Nicola Walker.
  14. The Amazing Carpet owner could have been blind. If so maybe it was a joke on everyone who visits.
  15. They must have got that CHEAP! $1 per yard or even free. I swear I've seen it in a cinema or children's indoor play area. But wow. I want to know too! Top 5 HH Mystery.
  16. Goo Goo Dolls!!!! Wow, I haven't thought of them in ages! Off to play one of my CDs. (Yes, I was born in 1981). 👵💿
  17. I wondered about that. Maybe it's Mum or a Grandmother?
  18. Amsterdam hunter, between surviving cancer and having a family that doesn't exactly look poor (Honolulu is expensive) I don't blame her or her family. And she wasn't asking for 3k a month or something. Plus, she's going to school and working. Seems good to me.
  19. Bury a body? I was getting Soprano flashbacks and thinking a step before.
  20. It was all for the camera. I wouldn't be surprised if it was set up by the producers.
  21. What does handsomeness have to do with it? Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that. I haven't seen the episode. Did she say she didn't want to date him because he was fugly? Or that she just wasn't attracted to him, which can happen no matter how good or bad looking someone is. Whaaat!!! Nice fancy cakes definitely have writing on them. Don't you watch GBB?
  22. I liked the Jersey couple a lot. They both had great sense of humour. And they want to adopt!!!
  23. I know, which is why I said I was shocked no one else used one, or bunkbeds.
  24. I think Sandy is getting a bit too much blame here. This is a "reality" television programme, not an actual working environment. Sandy isn't in charge. 51 Minds Entertainment is. We've seen Lee be just as if not more incompetent when it comes to those working under him.
  25. You can't call yourself a professional designer/flipper if you have slippery bathroom floors and vanities that are unsealed wood. Then again, IMO, you can't call yourself a pro if every single "design" looks like everyone else's no matter where you are either, so..... I was shocked no one else used bunk or loft beds. Which is another reason why programmes like this that claim to judge by "value" are BS.
