  1. I can see how this is going to end (not that I want it too): There is en epic battle with the epic villain. (Yet to be named. But let's say he/she is evil personified. He makes all the other bad characters seem like pansies.) All of our people (including the kids) are killed in a battle reminiscent of the movie 300. There are two people from the good guy side left standing. One is Negan. You pick the other. (Daryl, Carol. Michonne. Maggie. Lilith . . . whomever.)(For convenience, let's chose Michonne) They are worn and bloodied. The evil person steps forward. There is one last vicious battle. Let's say Negan and Michonne survive. Together, they have killed, and are standing over the body of the BIG BADDY!!!! The very last thing said in the very last episode of the series is Negan, whispering to Michonne, "Looks like I won." Then he stabs MIchonne in the back.
  2. Let me add this to your concern: How many of us were itching to see Rick kill Negan??? And we know how that turned out. There's no real point in thinking this show is going to satisfy any of our "itches."
  3. Maybe they'll make contact with the castways on LOST.
  4. Negan's role should be simply defined as: If our people get hopelessly surrounded and their only chance is for someone to act as a decoy to draw away the herd, let Negan do it. If he makes it, he makes it. If he doesn't, too bad. I guess he'll be shitting in his pants.
  5. Speaking of Instagram, do you think Daryl posts photos of Dog? How 'bout Negan and the tomatoes he grows? And do you think there are any bathing suit shots from Oceanside?
  6. Oceanside isn’t an island, but it was near (on) the coast. My question is I thought is was a good distance from Alexandria. Yet, Eugene was in Alexandria talking baby nonsense early in the episode, but then he’s there for the fire (and the fallen satellite) which was at Oceanside. Did he develop a transporter between seasons? I know he’s smart and all. And has anyone actually seen the demarcation between the land for Michonne’s people (Daryl’s people?) and the Whisperer’s? Last night a couple of people mentioned it, but all I saw was open land. I saw no signs, no fences, no nothing. And if I’m right, there’s a lot of land between Alexandria and Oceanside. Did they hire a group of surveyors to go out and mark the land?
  7. Funny how Michonne has a normal voice when speaking with the kids, but has this low grumbling voice when talking to adults.
  8. Normally, I would have missed that too, but there was a very faint scar on her. But that leads me to ask — who starts an autopsy on the chin? I mean, that is why they cut her there, right?
  9. I never thought I’d say this: Christine Lahti’s character bugs me. No wonder the children are so wild!!! And, yes, they bug me too. And the husband who ‘s away bugs me. It’s all too contrived. And here we are after two episodes and I still am not sure what the lead character is supposed to be doing, what her background is and why she’s considered important. Other than being in most of the scenes, has she actually contributed anything to the solving of the cases. (I have nothing against the actress, though.)
  10. Man, this show has gone flat. I know they were trying to show Bull’s dawning self-awareness (and bullheadedness) but I wonder if things would have been different if the woman fraudster had been an unattractive older woman? I’m not suggesting there was any flirting because there wasn’t any. I also only partially ask that given Weatherly’s reputation. Still, I wonder.
  11. I don't know many actors who refuse to read reviews of their work. I have no idea how popular this Primetimer blog (or whatever it's called) is. But we are all aware that the press this year, particularly Forbes (which is a big deal), has been absolutely savage to the show, right down to pointing a finger at Morgan (NOT the actor!!!) as well as other common complaints that have been listed here by many people. (A headline for a recent article: FWTD Is Better Off Cancelled.)
  12. One other thought: If anyone was able to "sneak back" and rescue money, it'd be Lucianna. I saw her as they were loading up everyone, but Ginny's men seemed to be giving her some leeway. Maybe in her short time with them, she gained their trust to where they don't watch her as closely. I can't see Ginny making that mistake. But logic and this show are not close friends. When Morgan struck Ginny with his stick, her gun went clattering on the ground. It seemed as though she lost sight of where it went. It was night and she had been struck in the face near her eye, so her vision was off.
  13. It's interesting. I am connected to Maggie Grace on Instagram yet she has posted almost nothing this season. Unlike last season. There has been a noticeable drop-off in her FWTD comments. True, she is just ONE of the actors.
  14. What I said earlier on the Spoilers page, and I still stand by it : Maybe, just maybe — though unlikely — TPTB has clued in to what the rest of the world has seemingly clued into: Morgan (no offense to the actor) sucks as a leader; there are too many characters; and there is no real baddie. Maybe, just maybe, TPTB will do something about one or all of those (and others). Hopefully, though it’s unlikely, they won’t screw it up as they have the last few times. Interestingly, one critic out there recently wished TPTB would give us what was originally promised — the early days of the apocalypse. I’d sign up for that.
  15. There’s going to be a new ride at water parks next year.
  16. Honestly, what makes a cellphone “cool”?
  17. One of the horses splashed through some water in the field. So much for not having water.

  19. I readily admit I've not watched every single episode, but it seems too many times the plot revolves around 1) Pride being investigated; 2) the team being investigated: or 3) someone on the team — in this case, Hanna — being investigated. What's up with that? Is this some closet nod to all the behind-the-scenes "shenanigans" that have touched this show? Has there been a season in which Pride hasn't gotten his ass kicked, shot, fired, demoted, or bloodied? I don't need Superman, but damn, I'd like my hero to be a bit . . . sturdier. And I'm not ready to deal with even MORE family issues!!!! (I do like Pride's wife though. Yes, I know they ARE married.)
  20. Yes, I know I can go to IMDB to get the actresses’ age, but my question is of the character: How can she be old enough to have four kids and still had time to do everything else she’s done (climb mountains, for instance. You don’t do that on a whim.) Plus, if you wanted to give the character “home” issues, can’t you do that with giving her one or two kids? Why four? Is that a magic number? Christine Laihti (who I like, like, like) must have gone to the Allison Janey School on How To Be a 21st Century TV Mother.
  21. Stray thoughts: it seems like our group always runs into detours. And really — a BRIDGE???? What’s up with Strand? It seems like he’s not Strand anymore. Of course, same can be said for just about all the main characters. Speaking of which: Does everyone follow Morgan just because he’s a good guy because most of his plans (all?) are for shit? And has anyone noticed that new characters (Tom, his wife, etc) get as many lines, maybe more, than the existing characters (like Alicia). No one even suggested they clear the cowboy camp? The Walkers seemed to have been trapped inside. Maybe if someone, you know, opened a door and made some noise. But no. Better to grovel at the feet of Virginia, who (for some reason) no one seems to like. I wonder if no likes Virginia because she’s — oh, I don’t know — efficient.
  22. Other than her voice, and her hat, and her attitude, why does our team dislike Virginia so much? Seriously. I don’t get it. Has she killed someone, or stolen food from someone? I mean, what is it? Is it that they just don’t trust her?
  23. Did they let a junior high school theater department make this episode? The writing, the acting, the everything really sucks tonight.
  24. Where did June get all those snazzy print shirts?
