  1. I liked the show, too. And I too liked the person who played the medical examiner, even though she had a very "Bones" like personality. Certainly, not all medical examiners are like that?!?! But the one thing that I don't get — Did the bad guy go into the women's restroom and just wait in a stall until a woman (any woman??) just happened into "his stall"? I wonder how long he was prepared to wait? Plus, there were at least two other stalls. I would think it would be unlikely he would have done what he did if he knew the other stalls were occupied. In other words, was it merely an unfortunate happenstance that the women walked in there when she did??? It sounds like too much of a . . . fluke.
  2. Please trust me on this — I know women have been abused, and are still being abused, and things need to change. Then I remember the Demi Moore/Michael Douglas movie from what seems to be a century ago. Without remembering details, it was where a female boss took advantage of a man. It was chilling. Please understand — I am not saying this because I think women ought to shut up and sit down. I say it just to throw it out there.
  3. I, too, think that’s great, but I wonder what that will mean when there’s a new claim brought? Will the companies like CBS and the individuals like Moonves be more willing or less willing to settle? Of course, they shouldn’t even be in that position, but ...
  4. Has anyone heard if CBS is going to resume filming/showing Bull (other than reruns)? Or are they now filming as I type this? I know this show like others has been on break. But new shows will start showing soon, right? Are these forthcoming new shows already filmed and in the can (as they say)? Or are they being filmed now or about to be? (Sorry for not knowing this stuff.)
  5. Then why did CBS pay her $9.5 million? (I’m not arguing, just trying to see what I’m missing.)
  6. Hey, let's have Bull's team pull together a mock jury and we'll try this case and see how it goes!!! (What? Too early?)
  7. Thanks, I totally missed that, not that I'm fly-specking what goes on with Bull and MW.
  8. i would be willing to bet Weatherly has been advised to “shut up and sit down.” An interesting point that hasn’t been discussed: in the most recent comments from Eliza, she said something like another “male cast member” joined Weatherly in saying stupid things. Now I know I have seen mention of a crew member saying something stupid, but here Eliza said CAST member. First of all there are only two men on the series other than MW. (Unless it was a guest star.) Bottom line is CBS has it’s hands full dealing with this at the same time it deals with Moonves. I really can’t see how this can be glossed over. One other thing — I have seen the statements from 3 or 4 of MW’s female costars. But where are the others, most notably Cote? She and MW are supposed to be producing a show, so she may be waiting for the dust to settle, and is probably concerned about saying anything publicly. But I wonder why a reporter hadn’t tracked her down and asked her. And what about Lauren Holly (she doesn’t strike me as the shy, retiring type) and Emily Wickersham, or how ‘bout the actress who played Agent Borin. She supposedly got fired, so she might be willing to talk (just not about her situation.) And the biggie question mark: Why no comment from Mark Harmon? Is it because he’s in bed with CBS? Anyway, this is a mess.
  9. Hasta la vista, Bull. Been nice (or maybe not) knowing you.
  10. Yeah, how can you be playful and flirtatious if the lead is being an ass? Sort of spoils the mood. It would definitely make you not want to try hard. Then again, I never have understood how actors can do kissing scenes. Two strangers. Pretending to be in love or lust. Then again, I’m not an actor.
  11. Yeah, this is sayonara for Weatherly. Just curious: I realize that there can’t be a policeman on every set, but isn’t there someone on set who’s, you know, in charge? I suppose it’s not the director since he/she can come and go every week. Is it the show-runner? But I guess he/she is to make sure the show gets made on time. So, if someone HAPPENS to overhear an actor being an ass (as in sexual harassment) no one does anything? You know, I think of those people who KNEW these people were/are bad seeds but said nothing. That’s unconscionable. I watched a rerun of NCIS this weekend and there were scenes of Tony DiNozzi being his typical sexist jerk. What once had maybe been seen as funny is now ICKY. I think it’s possible that NCIS might suffer a hit from this, at least as far as reruns. I bet there will be some people who might have purchased a particular season of the show but will now pass on it. Then again, all the people at NCIS have enough money. And that’s what this is all about, right? Money? Not fairness.
  12. I wonder if they’ll pull Bull tonight. It’s a rerun, so ...
  13. We are in a different world, in some ways better, in some ways not.
  14. Just my opinion (and let me say, none of us know all the facts) — it doesn’t sound as though he was trying to get her into bed, and he wasn’t promising her something for sex. It sounds like he’s guilty of making stupid and lewd jokes (which based upon seeing him in character on NCIS, I can believe)(It also seems that anyone in Hollywood would know that about him.) Should he be fired for telling lewd jokes? He says he apologized. (Again, don’t know if this is true.) Where I think this turns is what happened to her “deal?” If he had a hand in having it cancelled, which would have been out of retaliation one would think (again, don’t know), then he should be fired in a New York minute. I suspect that with everything going on — investigations & interviews of all kinds of people because of Moonves(?) — we might not hear the real ending for this for a little while. I also don’t know (was it reported?) If Weatherly contributed to the settlement. That would be telling.
  15. Does Pride get beat up when he goes to the toilet? He seems to get his ass kicked a lot.
  16. Although it was way too obvious, it was also very real-life. You have a safe, but then you have the combination written down and out in the open. If my house ever got broken into, the thief would find a sheet of paper next to my computer with all my passcodes. But back to the show—the poor secondary characters — those on Bull’s staff — are lucky if they get 2 to 3 lines per episode. Another thing — shouldn’t the police have run across (pun not intended) the log for checking out the van? But I guess because they found Father Andy — despite being a priest in what seemed to be a small town — driving the van while drunk they did NO investigation!?! I realize the log wouldn’t have cleared him. My only point is that once again the police on this show never seem to do a thorough investigation. I’m also surprised the recent scandal the Church is in didn’t come up, at least in passing. And Chunk never actually said he was ostracized for being gay, although that was what he was talking about, right? I wonder why they soft-pedaled that?
