  1. Definitely a fun and sweet episode The child of one of the workmen, maybe the foreman?
  2. I was surprised Hagemeyer outright lied to Sheldon about having a boss, but her subterfuge was pretty entertaining
  3. Listening to Kenny G up tonight
  4. Rich investors can be duped so easily it seems. But I would say it's the employees and some customers who suffered the most here. The trial is pretty interesting so far, including Holmes testifying on her own behalf. She's already put blame on her boyfriend, saying he controlled and abused her Even if Holmes is found innocent, could the SEC or some other control body step in and prevent her from running a company for x years or otherwise fine and/or punish her?
  5. It was indirectly referred to in the 3rd Armageddon thread, but is there an issue between Candace and Danielle, or whoever are the women involved, that I missed?
  6. Not really a surprise. The same day ratings were about 300k on average, which is pretty low; I don’t know what the 7 day numbers were. It supposedly did well on the AMC+ streaming service, but those aren’t likely very big numbers compared to linear TV. Plus the concept didn’t seem to lend itself to a long life
  7. Yeah, I think this is the best guess at the moment. Along with the Flux being destroyed, I think it’s highly likely Swarm and Azure will be beaten and made powerless and either be imprisoned or banished to another universe. It’s possible Division will get broken up and seemingly destroyed or scattered but with an implication that it wasn’t destroyed and it could come back strong someday. I think the Timeless Child stuff will be settled for now and put on the back burner I think there’s a possibility there could be a cliffhanger that leads into the NYD special
  8. Hmm, that's an interesting thought. Why would those baddies want to fight over Earth if that's all that's left of the Universe? Of course, what can any of them do about it? I think only the Doctor can destroy and reverse the Flux since she's on the ship that's generating it
  9. Exactly. I think that's what it turned into at least. And who is to say that Division didn't want those bad guys to come out on top? But then the Doctor would interfere and somehow she becomes the bad guy to Division. I mean, look at Tecteun blaming the Doctor for things that have happened to her. Clearly what an abuser tends to say to the person they abused
  10. Strangely, I think it was the UNIT history stuff that bogged the episode down for me. When I rewatch the episode now, I ff through all the UNIT stuff (minus Kate, she's terrific) and the episode plays much better for me
  11. Broadcast on Sunday, December 5 at 6:20pm on BBC1 and iPlayer in the UK and 8pm ET on BBC America in the US. The runtime is 59 minutes Written by Chris Chibnall Directed by Azhur Saleem (who also directed Episodes 3 and 5) Trailer #1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6llpQggombI Trailer #2 https://twitter.com/bbcdoctorwho/status/1465395134778937349?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1465395134778937349|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fforums.primetimer.com%2Findex.php%3Fapp%3Dcoremodule%3Dsystemcontroller%3Dembedurl%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fbbcdoctorwho%2Fstatus%2F1465395134778937349
  12. Looks like there’s a double bill on Dec 11 as well so maybe that’s the finale; I can’t be sure at this point
  13. BARB made a slight update to the 7-day figures, upping them to 4.696 million viewers
  14. 7-day figures: 4.547 million viewers, 22nd for the week
  15. 28 day numbers: 6.39 million viewers, rank is 7th for the week
  16. Overnights were 3.82 million, up from last episode, and 5th for the day. It probably helped that I’m a Celebrity had to cancel its weekend shows because of recent storm damage to the show location
  17. I didn't quite love this as much as previous episodes, more 8 than 9s and 10s, but I still enjoyed it. I thought the first half was a little slow and then it picked up in the second half. Having to watch the first 30 minutes via BBC America with the endless ads before it became available on AMC+ might have affected things. Glad we got some answers for the Doctor from Tecteun though her origins are still a bit murky. Too bad mom bit the dust (literally) I liked Jericho, Dan, and Yaz going around the world trying to figure things out and Williamson the tunnel guy finally had something solid to do I liked that Karvanista and Bel have teamed up; next week should be interesting Loved seeing Kate Stewart again and nice to see she was totally on the ball about Serpent guy
  18. Trailer for Episode 6, The Vanquishers ETA: Here's the second trailer, the one that BBC America showed right after its US broadcast. It seems to have less of the good stuff that the first one has
  19. Next doc: "To Live and Die in Alabama", Friday, Dec 3, 10pm "Three police officers died in a shootout at a drug house in Alabama; one man was sentenced to death for the shootings, even though he was never accused of even touching the murder weapon; this is the story of Nathaniel Woods."
