Former Doctor Jodie Whittaker will star in the second season of the hit BBC series “Time” TVZone UK https://www.tvzoneuk.com/post/bbctime-whittakerrep1 The Sun https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/21916711/jodie-whittaker-doctor-who-bbc-one-drama-time/ Outside the UK, the first season is on Britbox International, so hopefully they’ll carry the second season
  7. Was there some sort of note explaining the dish beside text saying what the dish was or did they rely on the professional chefs to explain the dish? It seems unfair to expect someone to be familiar with the national dish of a lot of countries
  8. Program note: Former president Trump is set to surrender to Manhattan authorities and appear in court on Tuesday at 2:15pm ET. Expect news interruptions for the 2pm broadcast and possibly the 3pm broadcast as well

  17. Ah, I see, I didn't know that you weren't American. This is mostly an issue with broadcast shows; streamers just either release all episodes at once or they and cable networks show them weekly without breaks. But several cable shows and streaming shows will split their seasons in half and show the second half later. Of course, depending on where you live, many foreign shows are only 6 episodes long (like the UK) so repeats aren't an issue. In the old days, broadcast shows had many more episodes to fill the regular TV season and repeats were mostly relegated to the Summer
  18. It's the time of year for repeats given they only have 22 or 24 episodes to stretch 9 months or so. And March is full of March Madness basketball games, with the championship game in early April. This has been the way for many years
  19. Regarding the bent spine patient, I find it really hard to believe that being bent over like that for 2 decades didn’t produce catastrophic effects on the rest of his body. I can see why no other doctor would do the surgery. Also, I find it really hard to believe that after the surgery he just needs some rehab and will have a good life. You would think there would be major issues for life after going from fully bent over to fully straight after 2 decades, like shrunken lungs and messed up stomach and intestines. I’m not a doctor so there’s a lot I don’t know but there’s got to be lingering issues FYI for those curious, details on the disease mentioned Ankylosing Spondylitis: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankylosing_spondylitis
