I'm rewatching from the beginning and up to season 9. Vivian's poem makes me cringe more and more every single time. Was she okay during that TC? She looks a little spaced out towards the end!

I disagree with this personally. I know they didn't all get the same amount of airtime but for the most part, they were a 'diverse' class. It seems like most of them have fun personalities as well as lots of talent. I mean, didn't five of them make show group? The blender rookie class for me is the year before. Rachel, Molly, Miranda and Alexis all had the same look and let's not get to Savannah and Christina being blenders. There was only Lauren, Gina and Kalyssa who were stand-out dancers in a sea of average.

That sounds like a great triangle, I'd maybe add Hannah in the mix too. They should mix it up and should be placed in the diagram in order of talent/power. If you're an average third year being out-danced by rookies, shove them near the back or cut them. As a dancer, you should always want to improve. More power, higher kicks, more flexible. The problem is they currently have too many mediocre, blender dancers currently compared to the days when strong dancers, like Mackenzie, didn't get on show group. Now it seems to be who can make up the numbers. They might be pretty but they just don't pop as much. Not exactly world class.

I used to sell my costumes when I was done with/outgrew them. I did 7 solos in different categories, 2-3 duets/trios and numerous groups in every competition so it was crazy expensive!

I hope she has a little feature so we can see why. Or it could be because she just got lost in a sea of blondes?

Cassidy Kay’s account came up on Instagram through the Explore page and I’m struggling to see how she didn’t make it to training camp. She obviously excels in hip hop and her contemporary is pretty good too. She’s light on her feet but with power when needed. I think she’d be an asset to the team!

Good grief, Cianna is bad here. It’s not perfect at all. I think it’s Rachel on the other end, she lands too quickly too! None of them look that good in all honesty.

VK has far too much eye make-up on here. Getting some Alice Cooper vibes. To say this is group 1, it’s not the strongest group. I don’t know anything about the rookies but Madeline, Savannah, Miranda, Daphne and Amy are not powerhouse dancers. Cianna is the standout for me!

Jenn A has a little too much power at the beginning and Kim has some oomph too. God, it’s so sad to see so many powerhouses no longer on the squad. I think this season, there’s really only Gina and a handful of rookies (Hannah, Jayln, Bridget) who have that extra sparkle, unlike so many of these alumni!

I stopped taking dance classes daily nearly 10 years ago and my body is still a mess. I never get my feet out because of years of shoving them in pointe shoes!

I want to know what all the dot stickers mean. They shared the photo of show group photos a couple of years ago with stickers all over them, no idea what most of them meant!

From someone who danced growing up and had chunkier thighs despite being super skinny everywhere else, I can say they are. I believe she comes from a lyrical background so probably did lots of ballet/pointe work. Ballet is not for weak people so thigh muscles are important. I've always been proud of my dancer legs!

Oh I'm sure she's a lovely woman, seems like a great teammate which goes a long way but her dancing isn't up to snuff. Through this video, her foot placement is messy. She's not a crisp dancer. Just seems like they cut rookies for sub-par dance but not vets, they have to make another mistake eg attitude, decision-making, weight gain.

I'm so not on the Molly train, I find her to be a fairly weak dancer, even more so here. Jayln and Cianna are giving it and Alanna looks good too. The blonde rookie at the back doesn't have enough power but the other two nearer the front look great!

I can't remember who's Instagram I saw it on but when Christina was assisting one of the prep classes (possibly Mia or Stephanie's class), she looked clean. She's not a stand-out but she is a good, solid dancer and looks like she's improved as the years have gone on.

I thought that scene was really endearing. Showed a less scripted side of it all for me. She was clearly valued so much by the organisation on more than just a dancer level. I know they have a meeting with K&J about it at the end of the season but I guess they don't have such heart-to-hearts with all members. I'd love to see more of the vets at the end of the season to see what happens when the season is over. More BTS is always wanted!

Unless it means something different in the US, red bottoms are Louboutins, aren't they?

This is a real shame to me. She was one of the best technical dancers from DCC-land and could do so much better than The Bachelor. I don't watch it because I don't think it's broadcast in the UK and quite frankly, it's not my sort of show. Is she just desperate to be famous?

He'd look great at point, he just has that extra sparkle. We don't get to watch SYTYCD in the UK as it's not aired but I often watch YT clips of him and he is phenomenal in so many styles too!

Give him a spot on the squad already.

Looks like from the comments on the Heather magazine cover, she's a group leader, with Briana in her group. I wish they'd do an photo of who's in which group already!
