  1. Get outta my head @humbleopinion! I see we are still residing in our Hotel California, because I came here to say exactly this! 😂 She talks a good game on instagram about loving her postpartum body (she’s calling it 4th trimester- is that a real thing?), but when it comes down it she covered herself with hair......
  2. Came here to vent about pretty much everything in your post - I don’t know why I keep watching. It’s so stupid. Again, I thought I missed something because how can Chanchal be pregnant enough for morning sickness when they’ve only been together for what, a week or so? And John declaring he’s in love with Miss Osborne? I’m not buying what they’re selling. I concur, Daniel is the real star of this show. John is an idiot and a bore. That final montage where he (finally!) figures out he’s been betrayed by his friend was ridiculous.
  3. I agree. I’m going to hazard a guess that these two are going to join the ranks of couples who divorce without consummating their marriage. I am also going to hazard a guess that she is going to be a humorless stick in the mud that becomes a chore to watch based on her attitude during the dress buying and the bachelorette garden pouting. I might be wrong here, but so far, it’s not too promising.....
  4. @Kdawg82 Come sit next to me. I looove glitter too! Maybe not glued to my face a la Amelia, but definitely in my eyeshadow! Fun stuff! 😋 Yes, because that’s what a self absorbed, cocky, shallow, beer swilling gym rat with a wandering eye deserves, right? I mean, what a catch for an attractive, sweet, mature woman! Blech....
  5. I totally thought about Miles and Woody picking groomsmen - was it like in elementary school when kids pick teams? A bunch of friends standing around and Miles and Woody taking turns on who get which friend for their wedding! 😜 I am always amused at the low key shade with the guys. My favorite was the almost open hostility between Fireman Ryan and Jon with Jephte awkwardly trying to keep the peace.......
  6. Except last season only one out of five stated together. That’s only 20% success rate, so not helpful from a statistical standpoint. It would be better for them if they kept it to three and only one worked out - that’s 33%, not to mention fewer damaged people......
  7. They can see it! They are choosing drama over good matches. I am sure they don’t want 100% success because that is boring. I’m sure they matched up Olivia with Brett to fill the casting slot once occupied by Luke/Kate, Matt/Amber and Zach/Mindy.
  8. Random thoughts about this episode: Brett. What a turd. But my true rage is directed at the producers and “experts” who put sweet trusting Olivia with the jackass that they absolutely knew was awful thinking they can mine tv gold from the ensuing drama that will unfold. It was painful watching the scene where Olivia is talking about nice guys and says “I’ll take him.” And now Lifetime is using a cut of that on social media for the show. How dare they, knowing they have matched her with the complete opposite of “ a nice guy”! I want people to call out “the experts” on sm for the choice of Brett. Especially after the last three seasons of Luke, Matt and Zach. At this point it’s just gross because it’s so deliberate. I laughed at Bennett dancing with the strippers. Also loving the bromance between him and Miles. Amani’s facial expressions at the strippers was hilarious. Add me to the group that is not into armpit hair on women. I think it’s gross. I recognize that she has every right to do it, but I still think it’s gross. But I guess as they say, You do You, Amelia..... Christina seems uptight and anal. But I don’t fault her for not being into the strippers. I would not like that either. I liked it better when there wasn’t forced group bachelor/bachelorette parties and each participant could plan their own with their own friends. But of course that’s too classy and normal now because not everyone wants excessive booze and strippers which is too boring for this crapfest...... The drama with Karen at the end was so boring to me because we all know she goes through with it. Only one question remains - who leaked that info to her? It was definitely the producers trying to create drama, right???
  9. It’s really strange, but it looks like the dresses fit better in the bridal salon and then they get to the wedding and it doesn’t. Of course it would look more sane in the bouquet, but I don’t think that’s what she’s going for. They really do seem like a match made in heaven- both into wacky hats. That’s a perfectly good reason to match people by MAFS standards.....
  10. My husband wanted to do it when we got married 22 years ago because his is basic and he thought my last name was cool. I declined because I longed for the normalcy of his last name and I thought it was weird. My college roommate's sister and her husband combined their last names to make one new name. I thought that was kind of cool.
  11. It looks to me like it is too loose. You know they get like two weeks between picking a dress and the wedding, so there is not enough time to get it altered properly. And now whatever dress shop the show has contracted with is responsible for rushing out five dresses instead of three. I am about as far from quirky as you can get, but I am in love with the bird on top of Amelia's head. It might be the main reason I am tuning into this season at all. I saw those wedding pics a few weeks ago, and saw that bird, and thought, "I gotta see this"......
  12. That is awesome! I’m totally jealous! I understand the hanging pockets because I have the same setup in my closet with the flip flops: I live in California. 😋
  13. Whoa! Do you have shelves in this shoe closet? And you share it with other family members? Or do you just keep a few pairs at a time there? I am intrigued by this. That would need to be a pretty big closet for me because I have over 50 pairs of shoes. But your floor is probably definitely cleaner than mine 😋
  14. He was also in Sanditon. Another one and done end-on-a-cliffhanger British period piece......
  15. Thank you! I came here to see if I missed something that explained why the sister in law went to his room. But no.....what a whole lot of nothing! It’s embarrassing how dumb John looks for his blind trust in his friend. This show is not great, but it is pretty and I like period drama.
  16. The problem is that she is well past that. It’s a little too twee bordering on juvenile for a woman with two kids in high school. Her best outfit was the navy blue sundress she wore for her sex date. Hey, maybe you are on to something - first grown up looking outfit for her grown up date! 😂 Seriously though, more of that and less looking like she raided her elementary school daughter’s closet....
  17. Exactly! My youngest just turned 11 in April, so I haven’t bought a car seat in that many years, but they were similarly priced when I had to buy one over a decade ago. He’s pretty stupid for a man that made it through medical school.....
  18. I’m not sure that it wasn’t so much he that he wasn’t attracted to her but rather that he is kind of introverted and was weirded out by the process and she came on too strong.
  19. Yes! A thousand times yes! These stupid people do not learn at all. It’s season 11. If they can site one successful match where THE MAN was not attracted at the alter but grew attracted, I’ll....well, I don’t know what I’ll do, but I don’t really need to worry about it because IT.DOES.NOT.HAPPEN. EVER. On the other hand, in 11 seasons there are many, many examples of people not being immediately attracted and the whole thing being over before it began. It would really serve them better to take personal preferences into account much more than they do. But of course, they are not looking for too much success, right? Because there wouldn’t be enough drama to wring from a bunch of happy people......
  20. On a totally superficial level, they are definitely beautiful together. I think I was sad they split bc of their combined fabulousness. Best looking couple in MAFS history. And I also love Iris’s hair.
  21. Yes they should keep the toxic people together, although that is not super fun to watch either. Case in point: Taylor and Brandon....... Why can’t they just pick people that as far as they can see are not known assholes? It’s so unethical to partner a nice person who came into this with good intentions with someone they know is bad from the start! The disgusted look on Dr. Viv’s face says it all when Brett says (in total seriousness) sex won’t be a problem because he’s so good looking - She knew right then he was a nightmare yet still signed off. I’m not sure it’s a spoiler so I won’t mention it in detail, but the stuff that happens with him at the Bachelor party should have been enough for the production to step in and remove him. I really wish they would do that if things come up between “the experts” picking people and the wedding. Because that should have happened last season with Katie too.
  22. I have to admit that’s why I love Helen’s outfits so much. I looove heels, a little too much apparently since I’ve jacked up my own feet over the years from wearing them. I think she looks fantastic head to toe. Maddie’s shoes however drive me bonkers. The cropped flared jeans with the high heels from the first few episodes looked stupid. Especially considering she was being a stay at home mom at that point. Who the hell dresses like that when you’re just running kids around? That lifestyle/outfit would have made more sense with a sneaker.
  23. I agree. He seemed fairly wrapped up in his family drama and baseball, and CeCe pursued him. She obviously likes him more than he likes her, but that doesn’t make him gay. I think everyone needs an Aunt Helen. She was fantastic with Annie and Kyle, and all the mock trial kids. She is making the show for me. Ironically, the closest thing in my life to an Aunt Helen is my Aunt Dorothy, who everyone in my family calls.....CeCe. 😋 My favorite line was when Maddie says she has so many squeaky wheels she’s out of grease. I can relate sometimes. I have hated everything she has worn. She dresses like an overgrown toddler. The dress she wore on her first date with the coach was waaay too short and juvenile. I also hate how Dana Sue dresses. She’s not tiny, but there has to be something besides a sumo wrestler robe and belt she could wear! But Helen’s wardrobe makes up for both of them. Fab.
  24. Holy smokes, he is delusional! When he said the sex would be great because he’s so hot, I thought he was making a joke. But he was serious! I think that alone should have disqualified him! Also, someone should clue him in that just because “someone” is good looking does not actually mean they are automatically a skilled lover. My guess is that he is not too worried about his partner’s enjoyment if he’s assuming they are good because of his looks. Good lord, what a horse’s ass......
  25. May I exchange my spa service for the pool cabana??? 😂 Either way, looking forward to mingling with everyone at our lovely hotel - I hope there is a happy hour! Sadly, this is going to be my only hotel experience this summer ☹️
