Hi all... Question... Does anybody remember a Male character from a CBS soap from the early 80s ...who was evil and possibly blind... I have a friend who swears he remembers such a character but does not know exactly which CBS show it was... The only one I could remember as blind was Dylan Lewis on guiding light but he wasn’t evil ...I also thought about David Kimble from young.. he was evil but not blind... I told my friend that if anybody would have a clue, it would be my fellow posters.. thx !!

From the very beginning of this Alzheimer’s story, Sonny has always spoken to Mike with an edge in his voice like he’s annoyed and mad at Mike when he should be sad or frustrated which I could certainly understand.. But it’s always like he’s pissed off.... doesn’t speak with a hint of compassion or sadness... I wish MB would play it differently but look at me asking for something that will never happen....

I was so happy to see Father Intintola in this episode !

And if Carly was supposed to be around 20 in the flashbacks, are we really supposed to believe that 25 years later she’s 45 ? On what planet ? Also, I agree that Eden was a terrible choice to play Carly...one of the most blah actresses ever .... ...(but I didn’t mind James Patrick Stuart playing Frank because I liked him in that goatee) !

If we weren’t in the midst of corona, I would stop watching this tripe.. but boredom overtakes me and so here I am.. It was bad enough that Quinn barged into Brooke’s home the other day but now she has barged into her office and I’m not really sure why Brooke just doesn’t either smack the taste out of her mouth or throw her out, but Brooke listens to everything Quinn says and almost seems resigned to her...sad, actually Eric that old fool needs to throw Quinn out on her ass and never look back because she has become repulsive to me and I can’t even love to hate her anymore...there’s no reasoning with her and she has an answer to every one of his points.. And Ridge sitting there with Shauna in that dump of an apartment making a pretense of wanting to get to know the “real” Shauna makes him also look like an old fool and it’s awkward to watch... There is not one entertaining thing about the show.....I’m so desperate that I long for the days of the reveal by Douglas regarding Beth....now THAT was entertainment !!

I didn’t like the way Sally spoke to her doctor... The last time they were together the doctor did take a long time about getting to her point, but still... This time she may have had some positive news and I thought that Sally’s attitude was just nasty.... Very disappointed

And I also laughed out loud when Douglas said I now “announce” you man and wife...😂😂😂

Even though the kiss set-up has come to light, there are still two things that were never brought up.. They never mention the time when Thomas drugged Liam and then Liam seduced Steffy.... Also never brought up is when Thomas had that god awful projector under Douglas’s bed and was trying to scare him before Douglas spilled the beans about Beth Both of these incidents have been swept under the bed (no pun intended) never to be mentioned again ... I’m sure there are other incidents that I’m just not thinking of....

I don’t even care that Vinnie is a drug dealer, I love him too ! Whenever he’s on screen, I pretend that he gave up that business and has gone straight ! And yes he needs to get his ass over to Eric immediately ....or I was hoping that he was secretly taping Thomas today when Thomas laid out his entire plan...he went into such detail that I was praying he was being recorded....

I agree and I thought she looked really good... Clothes fit well and were very appropriate and her hair looked nice ... I haven’t seen It looking that good since a few years ago when she was sporting that curly bob above her shoulders...

When Jordan kept wondering aloud why Taggart would want to work with Sonny, all I kept thinking to myself was “moron, have you never heard the expression the enemy of my enemy is my friend“ ? I know that Franco is not generally liked but I felt bad that he gave Elizabeth an anniversary gift and she had nothing for him...also, I was a little stunned that somebody would not know what a chapeau is (you don’t need to speak French to know what that is)...

This is something I have never seen mentioned but it bugs the crap out of me.. When Katherine calls Theo “T”, I cringe every time...Yes I know it’s a nickname but she does it every single time and it’s as though it’s his name now... although this past week in therapy she did call him Theo one time and I can’t tell you how happy that made me... It’s silly but it irks me so much... Also, that food fight was disgusting and all I could think about was I would die before I would let all that food all over my kitchen or dining room !!!

Oh my God, I did the same thing ! She looked better than she ever has on the show and I loved it !

Probably an unpopular opinion but Ryan is so cloying... I can’t stand when he acts like he’s best friends with everybody he’s got up there and references parties, poker games and “I saw you in a restaurant last week....” P.S...his cohost looks more like ET than she ever has before ...

I agree with that...I’m not sure if it’s the way he says it or what we know went on to finally get Hope to be his mommy...😱 So funny you said that because yes I remember at the beginning when she was played by two different babies and it was totally obvious ! ... today the entire show had only one baby but who knows what tomorrow may bring ? And wasn’t one of them completely bald and the other one had a little more hair ? But they were two of the most enchanting babies I’ve ever seen !

Since all I do is complain at the “Young” board about Connor, I felt that turnaround is fair play and I really must compliment the talents of those two beautiful children who play Douglas and Beth... Obviously Beth is still a baby but you can see a personality already forming and she was adorable today playing patty cake and having that bow perched on her head... As for Douglas, he is my all-time favorite soap opera child ... he has such an innate sweetness about him but is never cloying ...to me he’s just perfect.... And I wish that some of the adults around him had as many brains as he does..

Oh God, please tell me this has not been confirmed that DG is coming to B&B.. Horrible actor and we just got rid of him on Young.... I cannot imagine having to be subjected to him all over again 😱
