Re Matt learning to read lips instead of sign language: I don't take as dim a view as many of you. If you can read lips, you can be more independent, whereas with sign language you always need an interpreter (unless hanging out with other deaf folks). TPTD still suck for the lack of accommodations and OMG HOLY HELL suck for praising themselves for what they are doing. Fwiw, I'm disabled myself, after a major stroke in 2021.
