  1. I must object to your description of Prince Harry. I DID read the book and you should too, especially if you want to comment on the guy. Harry's book was about his life, in his words, up to that moment in time. He was a kid who, as a man, realizes he needed therapy to deal with his mother's death and didn't get it. He freely admits he made many wrong choices while trying to pretend his mother never died. I have more empathy for a kid, and yes, he was a kid when he was traumatized, than it seems many people wish to give this man. A loving parent dead, and ice-cold family...still...who gave the child in their family no support whatsoever. In anything. As a middle child myself who definitely was raised with the "middle child syndrome", I can't imagine how your life goes when you're considered a "spare" from day one. He didn't air dirty laundry, he wrote about himself. If some came off looking shitty because of that, maybe it's because they are shitty people.
  2. This doc is really being promoted hard. Yahoo is my home page and there is a new topic on it almost every day for the last few weeks. Here's today's headline: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/arent-prepared-disturbing-shiny-happy-145800026.html
  3. That's a good question. I think we should start a new thread just for the doc.
  4. I watched the trailer and it does not focus as much on the Duggars as it does IBLP. I hope the full movie does the same. The trailer makes it seem like this is going to be a hard-hitting documentary on that cult - I hope it lives up to that promise. These cults need to be exposed for what they are.
  5. How does this family keep getting on TV???
  6. Anybody see this picture of all 9 girls and Michelle - wearing leggings?! https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/michelle-duggar-wears-skin-tight-160946700.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall
  7. I'm in that club with you, for 2 years now since my son left us. I go to work, I laugh with friends and family, I do the everyday living things we all do. But I also cry every day. In the car, in my bed, watching tv...the tears show up when they want to. We go on living because we have to.
  8. I'll be sticking with Fritz all the way. Just love that kid. He moves me where some other better singers do not.
  9. I would certainly consider him a level 3. He started young and never quit. Seems addicted to porn and his addiction finally led him to where he is now. This guy is never going to quit and has an obvious lack of impulse control. The fact he couldn't resist downloading this stuff where he could have easily been caught in the act tells me all I need to know about his non-ability to stop.
  10. Isn't Ken a doctor? I can understand completely his strong feelings. This isn't "P" - over 900,000 people have died in this country alone, in part because of a disinformation campaign of which this person freely and loudly participated. I think Ken showed great professionalism by not punching him in the face.
  11. Anna is going to leave the Christmas doodads up until Joshie comes back to her loving arms. (Ewww)
  12. I've gotta agree with you on this one. I'm ready to switch it off. The male lead is actually doing a fairly good job with the material but this "actress" is only "acting" in the broadest sense of the word. Horrible. Ditto for the storyline.
  13. Six states are already majority-minorty along with DC, with 8 others hanging by a thread, soon to be. As of 2020 minority children are the majority in the US. All US territories are majority minority. So recognizing diversity is hardly being "woke". It's called being aware of reality. Hollywood seems to be catching on and it would be nice if television could do the same. I love Paul Campbell and I hope he means what he said.
