Laurence's romper made me think of the old cartoons in which a poor person would be depicted wearing a barrel held on with straps.

I haven't watched People of Earth yet. It looks like quirky fun. I really enjoyed Search Party. So glad it will have another season. Alia Shawkat rocked as Dory. I can't wait for the next big adventure.

This was such a boring finale. At least Sundance seemed to really be enjoying himself. Billy's lips must have been tired from all of the ass kissing he did in his interviews. His performances came off like a mediocre performer at a school for the performing arts. As to Josh, he succeeded in existing for the entire show. It was quite an accomplishment. Alicia sounded terrible on Ave Maria. Adam sounded horrible on both of his duets. The pros really let their contestants down. We's version of Don't Rain On My Parade was also terrible. That is a tough song to sing and perform well. It was so muddied the lyrics were indistinct. Tomorrow someone will win and we can forget about this lackluster season.

Might I add one more thing to this list? He also misidentified the biscuits as rolls. Rolls! He is evil to his very core. He is in the south. He should damn well know a biscuit when he sees one. Then again, I was seriously hoping he would choke to death on a biscuit. I assume he talks with his mouth full since he is incapable of shutting up. Best episode in a long time - still a colander plot. I enjoyed the Rick/Daryl hug upon seeing each other, but the dragged out scene of people toothlessly smiling at each other was stomach churning. Did Negan use all of the words so there are none left for our hapless crew?

I get so annoyed by the way JDM stands. I almost can't listen to him because I am too busy trying to figure out why he is leaning like that. Then again, I would like to not listen to him since he won't shut up.

Heaven help me, I am finding the new, ever whitening Murphy sexy.

They called her The Beautiful Georgina Chapman for so long that I automatically add it in my head. Only now it's Georgina Chapman The Beautiful. That makes me want to give all of the judges descriptive add-ons to their names. Zac Posen the Expressive, Heidi Klum the Magpie, Nina Garcia the Scowler.

Sorry, I requested one thread because I didn't think we would get enough interest for multiple threads. Then, with the holidays, the threads didn't get created until after the whole season was shown.

At first I was disappointed. Much like Dory I wanted the big mystery. Then as it was explained I really liked it. Every odd thing she saw/imagined was explained. I can see someone deciding to run off like Chantal did. Our characters were rather self-absorbed as was Chantal. It came together quite well for me.

There was pedeconferencing - major West Wing shout out!

They do use the word vagina much more than one would expect on Project Runway, so maybe self pleasure is part of their next challenge. You can experience a nub rubbing trifecta.

Maybe I'm just in a mood but there were so many songs I like that were performed tonight and yet no performances that I loved. It may be time for me to give up on this show.

I'm with you 7-Zark-7. I'm going to add a thread to discuss the ending of the season so we can discuss it without spoiling anyone who hasn't finished watching it yet. I found the show really enjoyable. I watched it in two marathon sessions. I think it held up well to a marathon. The characters were quirky without being totally unrealistic. I loved the cancer reveal and how his friends stuck with him even though he's an ass. It's not like he wasn't already an ass. They knew that, so why not?

There was an angle they used during the pink telephone dialing scene that made it look like Madame Professor Oh So Franch has an overbite. Made me think at least Noah has a type.
-
I want every one of Madame Professor Eau So Franch's students to get run over and killed by Noah or Helen or the freakin' baby, if need be. They are insufferable. The scene was both poorly written and poorly acted. Thanks, Madame Professor, for suggesting that men should intuit what women want and women should simply wait for them to get it right. That works out so much better than some saying if they like or don't like something. Has it occurred to any of them that professors are not supposed too have sex with their students? Will they ever have a discussion that's not about sex or rape? Can they tell the difference between the two?

The movers I hired used straps like these. They did seem to make it easier to move really heavy items. Then again, they were two very strong young men so they would probably have been successful without the straps. Does my pillow treat neck of the woods? Don't worry, I'll let myself out.

The Neganettes killed all the men and boys among the now camp Oceanside group, but left them with a well-stocked arsenal. In the ASZ they took all of the guns. Why? WHHHHHHYYYYYYYY?

I finally watched this episode. Aaaaaarrrrrrrgh! Oooh, he wrote a crappy novel and killed somebody - such a turn on. Sexy, intelligent professor lady has to get a piece of Noah. I am happy that his female students aren't shown as throwing themselves at him. Then again he was a douchebag in the way he expressed his opinions, so they are now turned off (not that similar behavior has stopped women from wanting him before). The dinner party was painful. I have been in discussions on consent many times. This was written so poorly. Again, aaaaaaarrrrgh!

The only person that can make Frank seem decent is Monica. She is horrible in every possible way. Her return did give me brief moments in this episode in which I didn't hate Lip and Fiona. They each made the intelligent decision to refuse to interact with her. Extra points to the DCS woman who rightly told Franny's paternal family that they cannot kidnap a baby. I was expecting Monica to somehow screw that up when she showed up at the interview. Okay, the Lip storyline has gone from frustrating to intensely boring. Another good decision was shown by his ex-girlfriend in kicking him out of her apartment. Is there anything more dull (on a TV show) than watching someone drink to excess? He's not a fun drunk. He doesn't get into funny situations. He is just mopey and sad and dull and . . . . Damn, what happened to Lip as a snarky, rebellious jackass? I do not need to see him kill himself.

Both gypsy tattoos were quite good. My issues with Nikki were the nose was really small and high, which made the proportion off on an otherwise lovely face and there was no depth to the head scarf. Kelly's head scarf had more shadowing that gave a better sense of curvature to the head. With that said, they were both really good-looking, well-applied tattoos. They made the judges work.
-
The description shown for the episode for me was: So glad Nikki is gone. I can't believe she was able to whine her way this far into the season. She is a good tattooer but damn was I tired of listening to her. I laughed when Nunez said how much he liked her attitude, right after we saw her signature pout and heard yet another long whinefest from her. I thought they were going to find some excuse to even up the teams again. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't force this. Kelly and Nikki were way off with the biomechanical tattoos. For Ryan this works out well, she has one of her friends on the final jury.

All day I've had a song in my head: "I've got a brand new pair of roller skates, you've got a brand new key . . . ."

S07.E07: You'll Never Ever Get a Chicken in Your Whole Entire Life
Muffyn replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Shameless
There are so many issues with this story line. As you said, no means no. It doesn't mean guilting your partner into doing something they don't want to do. The scene itself made no sense if they were trying for a particularly enjoyable sexual experience. Bend over, I'll be sticking this in with no warm up isn't typically the best plan. But the thing that bothered me most was pretending the only way gay men have sex is anal. That conceit set up this ludicrous situation. Two gay men, regardless of whether one is transgender and one is cisgender, should be able to consider sex beyond just "I want to stick my dick in you!"; "No, I want to stick my dick in you!" -
I thought of a just born mouse or an earthworm. I guess we can say it was creative. It certainly led us all to interesting comparisons.
